When you are looking to get away from the crowded city life, escape to nature on a backroad dedicated to 4WD| AWD access and enter the peaceful zone of Saddle Ridge. Although there are other cabin rentals close by, Saddle Ridge and Shady’s Barn are perched on a tract of almost 20 acres of mountain glory. Nestled amongst the trees at the top of a ridge, Saddle Ridge offers a mountain escape that couples have come to love and adore throughout the years. When you stay at Saddle Ridge, you truly feel like you have escaped the daily woes of life. We have heard from hundreds of guests over time, how refreshed they feel after staying at this rustic mountain cabin in the Smokies.

Saddle Ridge is located in Wears Valley and is approximately 25 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Townsend. Gatlinburg is a bit further at approximately 40 minutes – depending upon traffic.

When you turn off the main road onto the gravel road that takes you to the cabin, the feeling of true escape surrounds you. The forest like setting is peaceful and calming. Once you are at the bottom of the mountain on the flat part of the road, we recommend activating 4WD or AWD mode on your vehicle. The road ahead leading up to the cabins requires 4WD or AWD. As you wind up the mountainside and arrive at Saddle Ridge, you and your loved one will feel energized and happy to be in the Smoky Mountains.

As you enter the cabin, the main level welcomes you home for the week or weekend. This open space offers a fully furnished kitchen, a large dining table, and a living room area that features a cozy wood fireplace (seasonal), and a TV for streaming shows. There is a full bathroom on the main level that offers a soaking tub. (This is a soaking tub, NOT JETTED).

There is Wi-Fi available to our guests now! The TV in the living room is set up for streaming your favorite TV shows. Have a Netflix account? Log-in and enjoy your favorite movies while relaxing in the comforts of this cozy cabin.

On the lower level you will find an open room that features a King-sized bed, TV, pool table, washer and dryer, and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

There is nothing better than grilling out and taking in the fresh mountain air. Enjoy a picnic outdoors on the covered porch and relax... you are on mountain time.

The cabin offers upper and lower-level decks to enjoy the mountain air. Grab a cup of coffee and listen to the sounds of nature as the forest critters wake up and begin their day.

Located in Wears Valley just down the mountain from The Preserve Resort, Saddle Ridge offers rustic charm and a chance to escape from it all.

Fireplace Information: Posted 09/27/2022 - Guests will need to purchase firewood when using the indoor wood burning fireplace. Do not bring wood from home. You may purchase bundles at Knockout Firewood conveniently located next door to our office. Knockout Firewood Address is 3264 Wears Valley Rd, Sevierville, TN.

***Pool and fishing pond access located at Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli off of Happy Hollow Road in Wears Valley. Located approximately 8 minutes from the cabin.
There is no cost to use the pool or fishing pond. This is included in your rental.
Fishing pole rentals available onsite in season. Better yet: bring your own fishing pole and enjoy hours of fun by the pond.

In the event of inclement weather and the roads become impassible, we reserve the right to require you to reschedule your stay. We will not cancel your reservation due to penalties imposed by VRBO. However, if we contact you regarding rescheduling your reservation due to a snowstorm or an ice storm, you will need to be prepared to reschedule your reservation.

Renters with emotional support animals may only bring their ESA with them if they are staying in a pet friendly cabin and pay the relevant $100.00 non-refundable pet fee. Renters with service animals for a disability are explicitly protected under both federal and state law. The ADA defines service animals as dogs that have been “trained to perform a task directly related to a person’s disability.” Service animals are explicitly protected under both state and federal law, and, as such, are welcome in any of our cabins.
