Buchanan Vacation Homes is happy to now offer an amazing vacation home in Concan that sleeps 12 people and has everything that you are looking for. This house comes with a pool and Frio river access. The pool sits on the back of the house and the view overlooking Concan and the valley below are simply amazing. Bring your family to splash in the pool and take in spectacular views. Also, what would vacation be like without your four legged friend? Thanks for looking.

The master bedroom has a king size bed.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed.
The third bedroom has two sets of single bunk beds.
The fourth bedroom upstairs has a full size bed.
The loft upstairs has a twin trundle bed.

** Family Groups Only, Guests Not Abiding by this Rule will be Evicted with No Refund **
We strive to maintain a peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere for all guests.

Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas only. Failure to follow this policy will result in forfeiture of your deposit and immediate eviction with no refund. Please don't make us have to enforce this!

- Pillows, bed sheets and light bed covers are provided.
- Towels are not provided..
- Any additional toiletries after the initial supply is the responsibility of the renter.
- Customer's must bring their own trash bags, additional toilet paper, and paper towels.

The pictures make this place seem bigger than it is. It’s still a decent house. It definitely was not as clean as I had hoped. Toilets had a tape/plastic giving the appearance of being cleaned but definitely had not been. Rugs had not been washed. The place was picked up, but not clean. Location is great, though!

Amazing location, great place to stay, beautiful view. Loved that the back area was all fenced in as it provided a safe place for our toddlers to play and explore. Unfortunately, the pool water was a little too cold to use but it is well kept & would be an excellent feature to have during the hot months. Would definitely book another stay here.

We love staying here. The location is perfect. We love the pool and the outside patio and porches. We had a couple of issues but Shane always responds very quickly to remedy the situation. There was some severe weather and flooding while we were there and April and Shane made sure we were informed and checked on our safety early in the morning. We love how peaceful this location is, yet it’s very close to the river and shops. Just bring your groceries and charcoal, there’s plenty of kitchen utensils and pots/pans. We’re already looking forward to our next stay.

Perfect for our family getaway

Communication and check-in process was seamless. Beautiful view from the living area. The multilevel back deck and patio is expansive and the photos of the view do not do it justice. The kids had fun in the pool and roasting marshmallows in the rock firepit. Property was clean and well-maintained. Hope to stay again soon

Eagles Roost

House was amazing, view was incredible! the only complaints about the house was there was pet hair left behind in some areas, coffee pot was a little moldy cleaned it during our stay, fridge did not cool well, and the kitchen supplies were dirty such as bowls, cups, pots and pans. We had to wash everything before using them. Overall nice house and a great time!

Another great river Trip

We had a great stay at Eagles Nest. The views are wonderful. We got to see the rain moving over the hills, just spectacular! We missed floating by one day this year. Our annual river Trip is a 40 year tradition. We had another great time!

I’m not sure what we loved the most. The pool was Chrystal clear and had a wonderful view. We had deer grazing so close I felt like we could reach out and touch them. The house had everything we needed plus extra. We will be returning

Great View & Pool

The house is on top of a hill with a great view off the back porch. There is a pool that is well taken care of and fun for all of the family. The place was clean and Shane was very responsive to all my questions.

Perfect space for family vacation!

We had a fabulous time! Good communication with host who responded quickly to our questions. Space was very clean, well maintained and perfect for our family! The pool and outdoor area are great! We appreciated that the pool was separately fenced from the lounging space - an additional layer of security when we were outside with toddlers. Having 3 bathrooms was also a big plus, especially for the upstairs bedroom. Our one struggle was that there is no door on the upstairs bedroom. This made it very difficult to put a child down for a nap or at night when the adults were still up. The bedroom is set further back in the loft, so we were able to make it work, but having a door would’ve been perfect. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and dining. Plenty of parking! Would definitely visit again!

We have stayed at this home 5 years ago. It is a beautiful home but is starting to show its age.

We enjoyed our stay but had some concerns about the cleanliness of the bedding and home. There was a water bottle found in one of the twin beds. Also, the master shower cold water handle is not secure. The glass doors to the patio were filthy. There was dog poop in the rocks by the pool. There was also dog hair on the floor from previous guests (?). We did bring a dog with us, but picked up after each potty break. We also swept the floors before we left. We love the house but think that a little more attention is needed for cleanliness. Thank you for hearing our comments.

Awesome property with beautiful views

The property was awesome! There were a few minor things like no working lights in the pool and a couple of window leaks when there was a heavy thunderstorm but for the most part we were very happy with the property.

Family Frio Fun

Our family really enjoyed the house and property. Our party consisted of my mother, 2 adult brother and sister in law, myself, my husband, and our 12 yo twins. Having access to The Swimming Hole included was very convenient and the house is very centrally located. Instructions to bring your own towels and paper products is no joke. One thing we didnt think of were hand towels for the kitchen so we went through a lot of paper towels (we made multiple trips to the Frio Country Store for paper towels). So much so, that we even had the pleasure of meeting the owner of Frio Country Store who was very kind and helpful, as were his employees.

Spring trip

This was our second time to stay in this home. Very relaxing. Although the weather was not optimal we enjoyed our trip. The view from this clean and spacious home is incredible. It’s just a short drive to several water crossings if tubing is on your to-do list.

Great house... but doesn't provide towels (body, paper, hand, etc)

House was great. The description said bring EXTRA towels, which led me to believe that a minimum amount of risks would be present. They were not. Everything else we needed was there. Luckily the general store a few miles away carries towels and we were able to get the things we needed first evening. Other than that, the place was great. Communication with the manager was simple and easy. Check in and check out was no problem. 10/10 we'll stay there again. But this time we'll bring our own towels! Lol

Beautiful Relaxing Place

We loved it here! The house was clean, the views and dark skies at night were gorgeous, the drive up was very scenic, and the owner was very helpful! This was my first time using VRBO, so I was a little unsure of what to expect, but our group was very satisfied. We wanted a nice river place to enjoy the eclipse, the swimming hole associated with the place was closed for the season, but the owner was able to get us in. We would book again!

What a beautiful view

This is our 2nd year in a row visiting this beautiful location. The view is amazing!! The pool and the home is beautiful! And our host is always so helpful and friendly. For those of you who enjoy a walk, you would enjoy the Cat Claw Loop which calculates to 2 miles!! Hope to visit again soon!!
