This was exactly what we needed for our visit to St Pete for the Boston Terrier walk. We walked to dinner every night. The bed was comfy and the yard was excellent for the dogs.

Great place in great place

The few hiccups encountered were quickly addressed and the home was fabulous and all you could possibly need to enjoy wonderful Gulfport or nearby St. Petersburg.

2nd stay at this property

Stayed here back in 2017. Stayed again in 2023. I appreciate the consistency in service, cleanliness, and amenities. This is a well-managed property.

The Sand Dollar was perfect! Clean and fully stocked. It’s walking distance from the main ongoings in Gulf Port. We will be back!

A cozy getaway

This property was perfect for the two of us. It was ideally located within easy walking distance to restaurants, beach, shops. The neighborhood was very quiet. The place itself was comfortable, great bed, all you need in the kitchen, nice shaded patio area. This was our first time to Gulfport, we found people to be very friendly, enjoyed our time there.

The Sand Dollar is a couple of blocks to the neighborhood beach and a few miles to St Pete Beach, Pass-A-Grille and about 20 minutes to the beaches at Fort DeSoto.

The Sand Dollar

We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Sand Dollar in Gulfport. The place was super cute, very clean and very close to restaurants, bars & shops. It's only a couple of blocks from the water as well. We spent many mornings walking before we started our day. We have already talked about going back. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay in Gulfport you can't go wrong with The Sand Dollar.

Love Gulfport

The area was great! Close to everything restaurants music etc. Same I was a little upset about Wass the cleaning lady came and use the laundry room to wash bedding from another house she was cleaning. No one told us she would be coming and I was a little surprised!

Perfect stay!

I was returning to Gulfport after a year from being away. Gulfport is my happy place and I appreciate the closeness this vrbo was to everything. It felt safe and very convenient. The bed was super big and comfortable and the kitchen has everything I needed to make good breakfasts and dinners. I liked sitting on the patio at night and hearing the Floridian insects. Very peaceful. Wonderful retreat. Thank you for offering!!!

It's very close to downtown Gulfport which was a plus for us. Overall it is nice. Two downsides, no dishwasher or garbage disposal.

Great Accommodations/Lovely Area

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife, labrador and I had a great stay at the Sand Dollar. Very comfortable apartment (house) with a fenced-in yard which was very convenient traveling with our dog. The Gulfport area has many restaurant/bars, shops, and art shops within walking distance of the Sand Dollar, and the Tampa-St. Pete area has always yielded tons of attractions and events. Definitely recommend the Sand Dollar and its helpful property manager, Beth.

One of the most organized and well stocked kitchens I’ve been in. Amazing! Also a great comfortable king bed. Unit is on the second floor and the other bed is a blow up bed not a pull out. Not sure I read that on the description but this was a last minute arrangement for me in Gulfport as I have a home destroyed by Helene / Milton and was there to work. But I think it’s important to know there are stairs to the 2nd floor and not handicap accommodations… just in case. Beth was wonderful in extending my stay so I could finish work. I’d stay again. My pup loved the fully fenced patio!
