Mauna Ua is a very quiet, secluded home located in the lush Hawaiian rainforests of Volcano, surrounded by native hapu'us and Ohia trees. A 3 bed 2 bath vacation house that truly feels like home. From the tranquil garden, to the orchids and bananas, this is a great place to relax. Walking through the property, you will find many varieties of orchids, Antheriums and many other beautiful plants.
Inside you will find a lovely home with a well equipped kitchen, beautiful furnishings and very comfortable beds. Keep warm with the wood burning stove and plenty of firewood and kindling. Spend the evening watching TV or movies on the large flat screen tv or playing one of the many board games. The property also includes unlimited free WiFi and a library of movies.

In the morning you can have breakfast outside on the covered lanai and lose yourself listening to native birds.

THE LOCATION

Mauna Ua is located in one of the quietest neighborhoods in the area. Located just minutes to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Volcano Village where there are beautiful local art galleries, glass blowing studio, yoga classes, farmers market, coffee shops and restaurants. There are countless hiking trails and and places to cycle for the more adventurous.
Surrounded by rainforest on all sides, the tranquil sounds of nature is sure to be relaxing. Easily accessible just a couple of blocks off the highway.
Easy access to numerous attractions in the area. Located only five minutes to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and just a short drive away from Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, Rainbow Falls, Akaka Falls and many other attractions.

Renting a vehicle will be necessary to easily travel around Volcano and the surrounding area. By car, the area is easily accessible. Driving to and through Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is absolutely amazing.

HOUSE RULES

- No smoking or vaping
Smoking or vaping inside the house will result in additional costs to remove smoke damage and odor from rugs, curtains and linens to prepare for the next guests
- No Pets Allowed
- No shoes inside the house
- No wet or sandy attire in the house and especially on the couch and beds
- No events, parties or large gatherings
- No visitors other than paying guests (any additional guests must be reported to hosts)
- Must be at least 25 years old to book
-Guests are responsible for any broken or missing items.
-Quiet hours are from 9:00pm to 8:00am
- Additional fees and taxes may apply
- Photo ID may be required upon check-in

- There is a $20 per person per night extra person fee imposed after double occupancy (if you booked for the correct number of guests, there is no need to worry)

-Check in after 3:00 PM - The home is accessible via keyless entry. Please inform the host or housekeeper about any concerns upon arrival, so we can work to address these immediately

- Check out before 11:00 AM
- Prior to your departure, please tidy up the home by doing the following:
- Remove all perishable items
- Take out the trash
- Wash all used dishes
- Turn off all lights, electronics and appliances
- Lock all doors and windows upon exiting
