Relax at Crestview Cottage! Located on East Rush Lake, less than an hour from the Twin Cities. In summer, bring your boat and enjoy two lakes with a combined 3,000 acres to play on. There is a restaurant on each lake with boat parking. No boat? No problem. Kick back and fish off the dock, or explore the lake on our kayaks. Pontoon rental available nearby. In winter, bring your snowmobile or ice fishing gear to enjoy the frozen lake. There is ice house rental from a a resident on the lake, he supplies all you need for ice fishing in a warm ice house.
Just added, fiber optic wi-fi! Work and play with high speed wireless internet.
We have always kept our cottage spotlessly clean-and this year we will also be increasing times between stays to bring extra peace of mind to our guests.
Perfect for families with a quiet location on a dead end road. One level home with a flat yard leads out to the lake. (5 steps up to house) Sleep in air conditioned comfort at night, and enjoy the beautiful lakes during the day. Let the stress fade away.

We have stayed at this location for four summers and have never been disappointed. It's comfortable, has up to date appliances, lake is good for fishing and swimming, and always quick response in communication with owner. Definitely recommend it!

Beautiful Lake Home

The house is lovely with ample room for our family consisting of 2 grandparents, 3 adult children and 2 granchildren ages 4 and 6. The beds were comfy. The house is nicely decorated. The washer/dryer access was terrific. Well stocked kitchen and nice deck furniture. The fire ring was great for making s'mores. The only downside was the dock and the ducks.There were a large number of ducks that left droppings all over the lawn. The first part of the dock is precarious with an odd metal grate on an incline to walk up to get to the wooden dock that is quite narrow. The second part of the dock is wider and more navigable.

The cabin was perfect for 3 couples. It was decorated tastefully, was updated and clean. Good communication when we needed them and was accommodating.

Perfect Lake House

Clean, comfortable open concept home with beautiful lake view. Tara was a wonderful host who promptly responded when I had questions. Great location for taking part in local events. Will definitely book in the future!

Cozy cottage

Comfortable stay on East Rush Lake. Great location and easy access to pontoon rental. We enjoyed having two restaurants on the lake to boat over to.

Great Place - wonderful hosts!

We love this location, this is our second year coming here and staying at Tara & Adrian's place. The water stopped working Thursday night, and Adrian was there the next day to ensure it was working again for us. Easy fix! The water/beach this year was not as great as last year, but once in the deeper water it was much better. We WILL be back!! We love being able to go to the restaurants on the lake, Flickabirds is very close!

Blissful Escape

We greatly enjoyed our time at the Crestview Cottage. The pictures are entirely accurate. This place has a lot of modern updates and comfy beds. It is right on the lake with a small beach, a firepit and bench at the end of the dock. We enjoyed several beautiful sunsets and sunrises and even caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights! The kitchen has great amenities for someone who likes to cook. I would say that was 1 of my favorite things. The place is well decorated. It also had a lot of small touches like fuzzy blankets in the closets and extra beach towels for the lake. This place has everything you need for a home away from home. We would definitely return.

Wonderful Time!

The property was great and had everything we needed. The lake could have been a little cleaner, but Mother Nature does what it wants, they did leave a week cleaner for us to clean around the dock. House was comfortable and clean!

Home away from home

Thank you to the owners for sharing their home. They have thought of everything. We were in for our sons wedding so it was a busy stay for us. To be able to come back each evening to such a cozy beautiful home with comfortable beds, nice hot showers. Coffee in the morning watching the eagles (we got great video) fish the lake was complete nostalgia... magical. We will be back, looking forward to a summer stay to enjoy some fishing, kayaking and family memories.. Great place. Thank you so much!

Attending a wedding, needed a place away from it all

We were attending a family wedding and wanted to make sure we had a place to relax and get away from…well, all our family. This was perfect! Beware of the dark woods if arriving at night and deer darting out in front of your car. Nice quiet place, very comfortable, but be prepared to drive a little bit to reach Starbucks!

Beautiful cabin on a beautiful lake

This was an ideal spot for our family vacation. The cabin is very homey and the property is well taken care of. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and one infant, including plenty of storage places to put all of our stuff for the week. The sandy beach in front was perfect for our family. It was nice being on two adjoining lakes for boating and fishing. We had really good luck fishing on the East lake.

The pictures and listing description are exactly as what we found.

This home is a perfect place to relax and get away. The property was spotless and exactly as described and as photographed. My only regret was that this lake didn't have a place to rent a boat or jet skis. This, of course, was due to my lack of thorough research. We would have liked to have spent more time exploring the water with a boat rental. But, this home was perfect for relaxing and spending time with family.

Perfect getaway

Just an hour from home and just a lovely place for a brief getaway from day-to-day worries. Fishing right off the dock, fire pit, grills, and all you may need in the kitchen. This place is in great condition and very clean. The decor is delightful yet peaceful and calming. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Beautiful and CLEAN home on a great lake

We had a fantastic time here. The house was very clean, beds comfortable, and the perfect amount of space. We had fun exploring both lakes and found a fun, quiet cove/bay at the end of West Rush Lake that was perfect for swimming off our boat.

Great Property

Vacation in Rush City, MN

This is a really nice lake house. Clean. Everything looks new. Close to shoreline. Weedy to walk in by shore, but much better by end of dock-all sandy bottom. We caught small sunfish right off the dock. Enjoyed the fire pit. (We brought our own logs). Nice to have WiFi. We had a great stay and hope to return next year.

Excellent stay

Had a wonderful experience. House was super clean and had basically brand new furniture and beds. Beds were super comfortable. Had everything we needed. Loved the skylight in the bathroom. Fit our group perfectly. Can't wait to book a longer stay in warmer weather.
