Hi Susan- We appreciate your informative feedback. Our cleaners just discovered all but one spoon was missing from the drawer. This explains your review but we've ordered more. Now we'll have to review with our prior guests before you arrived.

Molly & her guests were wonderful to host. They were great with communication, followed house rules & were very understanding with addressing some unexpected issues. They're always welcome back anytime.

Thank you so much for the feedback Rachel. You and your guests are always welcome back. We now have a mowing contract & unfortunately it wasn't done until after your departure. As for the driveway & needed culvert, it's been a battle with the Township Board. Because of their Right-of-Way, they won't take ours or anyone's suggestions, even from the County. We hope someday they'll come to their senses. Again thank you for being such great guests!

Thank you for your feedback, Annie. We understand we cannot satisfy all groups. Bugs are common around the lake this time of year although we've had the house sprayed. Renters of the jet ski & pontoon had bumped into the dock & damaged it so we're in the process of having it repaired, although it is stable & safe to use. Bunks are at least 8-12 inches of memory foam suitable for adults up to 250 lbs. The septic tank has been pumped the Monday after your Sunday check-out. The steep driveway has been mentioned many times to you & haven't been an issue for parking vehicles. We were told your group had tried parking 2 trailers on it which it is not suitable for such. Although we've offered alternative parking a few doors down, but your group still parked on the street during the entire stay that was prohibited. In addition, one of your guests hitting golf balls into our neighbor's house was quite irresponsible. We're glad it didn't damage anything & although he still apologized; but we wished it would've been a better experience for all parties. Best of luck on your next rentals.

Thank you Dennis & Susan for staying at our lakehome & for your constructive feedback. We're happy you & your family were still able to enjoy your stay despite some items not being met to your standards. We've relayed your feedback to our cleaners & will address the shortages of any washcloths & silverware. There's over 2-dozen drinking cups (not actually glasses) but we'll inspect those as well. We've had our family of 20 stayed there a month ago for a week & didn't have these same shortages. But it's not uncommon for things to go missing. Yes, the steep driveway has been mentioned several times on our listings & in our prior communication but it hasn't stopped anyone from parking in the garage or driveway. Also, the home was cleaned the day before your arrival & the bugs are a common issue this time of year around the lake. We're told all of our neighbors are having the same issues. We ask that you & anyone else reading this review to please notify us immediately if there are any concerns so that we can address them right away. Thank you, Marsha. We appreciate the detailed feedback. We pay $300 for a thorough cleaning/disinfect & $100 for laundry of all the linens/sheets/towels/rugs after each rental. We understand the importance of keeping our lake home very clean & tidy. The driveway is an unfortunate issue as the Township has declined for us to have it fully paved due to their 30 feet "Right of Way". They're excuse was that it may "damage" their snow plow despite us offering to take responsibility. But we're glad you were able to make it up with your FWD vehicle.
