WHATā€™S NEARBY
Centrally located between the communities of Plain and Leavenworth, this home is a great base camp for adventure. The charming small town of Plain is seven miles north, where you'll find wine tasting at Plain Cellars, unique gifts, and snowshoe/cross-country ski rentals at Plain Hardware (with groomed trails right across the road), and zip lines at Mountain Springs Lodge. Continue further north to Lake Wenatchee State Park, which features a swimming area, kayak/paddleboard rentals, and various hiking trails. The Bavarian-inspired town of Leavenworth is only 11 miles south, offering authentic German food, the Icicle Brewery, a wealth of local shops, whitewater rafting tours, and a full calendar of annual festivals.

Liked the property, very secluded and hot tub was great. WiFi was good. Plenty of room and great layout. Heat works great. Now the bad-Electronics could be updated & it would be nice if the place had curtains or window coverings. Main TV doesnā€™t have streaming services available to log into. The DVD (no Blu-ray) in the living room doesnā€™t work and the fridge water/ice doesnā€™t work. Locks on the doors donā€™t work correctly & toilet handle is loose/broken.

Unfortunately my wife and I called our stay short because of the state of the property and cabin. Management was great on communication and hopefully takes action to make changes. The property had a lot of trash around it, the BBQ was covered in mold and could not be used, the bed mattresses are outdated and need replaced, and the kitchen was very unsanitary. Dishes shoved back in cabinets with food still on them. Also the kitchen table was one screw from falling apart. Again management was very responsive and I hope they try to make changes for other peopleā€™s stays. The hot tube was very clean.

Perfect getaway!

This is our 2nd time staying here and we just love it. We enjoy the quietness and being surrounded by nature but not far from the town. The hot tub is a bonus! We will definitely be back!

The cabin itself was clean and cozy, and the hot tub was very well maintained. However, we found the couch to be infested with fleas, so we decided to rewash our bedding as a precaution. Contrary to the listing, the property is not creekside; the area leading up to the cabin is overgrown, and the back deck appears to be in poor condition and potentially unsafe. The outdoor space is not very user-friendly. While the seclusion was a positive aspect, the cabin overall needs significant improvements considering the price.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful creekside cabin! We visited in January, and it was such a treat to arrive and find the hot tub already warmed upā€”it made the cold winter nights feel luxurious and relaxing. Nestled on 5 private acres, the cabin offered the perfect mix of comfort and privacy. It was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a restful stay. The surrounding forest and peaceful setting made it easy to unwind and enjoy nature. Awesome place tucked back in a canyon

Beautiful hideaway!

The perfect cabin

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. It was nice to stay outside of Leavenworth but close enough to make our way into town more than once a day if we chose to! It had everything we needed, a great movie collection, and a well equipped kitchen. Beds were OK, shower meh, but overall every quality Iā€™d want in a cabin for me and my family.

The place is very private so you can relax in the hot tub with no neighbors. Easy to find. Comfy.

I rarely use the hot tub fearing that it won't be well-maintained. The hot tub in this is squeaky clean and a perfect respite after a days hike.

Favorite getaway

This was our second time booking this property and we have stayed at many around this area. We fell in love with this stay last year and decided to book again. We love that it is dog friendly and a safe area for our dog to venture around because itā€™s not too close to the road. Also close to Leavenworth making it easy to go to town several times during our stay.

Was the perfect little getaway for us as a newly wed couple! Close enough to all the attractions at Leavenworth. Had a nice DVD library to keep us entertained at night. Bring some old DVD movies to donate if you can. Had all the accomodations we needed for a 2 night stay. Thanks for having us.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay. It snowed on us a little. It was very peaceful and refreshing. No problem with the driveway, even in the snow. Hot tub was very nice and clean. It worked perfectly for our girls get-a-way. Loved being out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but just 10 minutes away.

Great Cabin In The Woods

This cabin is close to the town of Plain and Leavenworth. It has a wood stove which makes the whole cabin warm. It does get hot upstairs with the fire going. We had to go buy a lighter and wood to start the fire. There was pots and pans to make dinner and plates and utensils. It was a great place to go with the family for a holiday weekend.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this cozy home. It was easy communicating with the host for any questions and receiving a quick response back. It was helpful that they laid sand on the hill going down to the home, we didnā€™t have any issues entering and exiting which was nice. The property is secluded from other homes and felt more private, not needing to worry about bothering neighbors as much ((:

Nice, quirky, off the beaten path

Overall itā€™s a lovely cabin. Quirky in the deco, but well appointed except a cutting board. Can be difficult to find at dusk or in the dark. Know that the third bedroom is an open loft, only two full bed rooms. The property is heavily wooded and up against a hill. I was hoping it was explorable by my kids, but itā€™s too thick of woods to explore the 5 acres. Itā€™s very private though and nice for a getaway.
