Cozy Cabin Near Leavenworth + Fenced Yard

Welcome to Quarterboard Cottage, a small-scale Shaker-style sanctuary in the Ponderosa Estates. The cabin resides near the Wenatchee River and is located just 20 minutes from downtown Leavenworth, giving you the pleasure of being immersed in nature without having to give up easy access to any Bavarian happenings. Being a short drive from Lake Wenatchee State Park and only 30 minutes from Stevens Pass Ski Resort, adventure can be found around every corner, you just have to come seeking it!

Bring along some board games and settle around the electric fireplace with the ones you love most, or cater to your fellow visitors in the unique outdoor dining area complete with power and ceiling fans for those warm summer evenings. The quant kitchen comes stocked with everything needed to prepare a home-cooked meal in your home-away-from-home, and the Plain market is just down the road if you find yourself needing any special ingredients. Upstairs is the queen bedroom, featuring both a queen mattress and sofa bed, is surrounded by knotty pines and gives guests the warm cabin feeling they escape here to experience. You'll also find a futon both in the common area and upstairs. With a large, fully fenced yard just off the back porch, you can even bring your four-legged companions along for the fun. We look forward to hosting you all!

There is no doubt in my mind that we will be back to stay at this cute cabin in the woods. This place is cozy for a couple looking to get away to the woods and is conveniently located just outside of Leavenworth, Stevens Pass, and Wenatchee. We called this place home for two nights and we can't wait to stay here again in the near future. After a 5 hour drive and a full day in town, there was nothing quite like stepping into this refreshing home tucked away in the trees. Coming back to the cabin after a long day hiking was a comforting feeling. The pictures don't do this place justice!

Cozy and comfy cabin

We had an excellent stay at this super cozy cabin. It had a comfy, homey feel that was perfect for my husband and I to get away from the craziness of life for a few days.

Fabulous stay!

The property was so cozy and had all the amenities we needed. It was tidy and the rules were outlined well. So glad we were also close to a market and to Leavenworth,and for such a good price!

Very comfy cabin! Extremely quiet area! Slept in every single day-not our norm…but loved it. Had everything we needed except a deck of cards for a game of cribbage but we bought some. The drive from Leavenworth to the cabin was worth it so peaceful and scenic. Beautiful time of year.Close enough to Plain to pick up delicious dessert from super friendly Old Mill Cafe or a 4 pack of beer from the market. Would stay here again!

Leavenworth getaway

Our stay was great, the cabin was cute and very cozy. The only thing that was bothersome was the drain in the bathroom sink did not drain unless manually lifted. Other then that we had a beautiful and restful trip!

Two pull out beds and no sheets Thankfully we only needed one of the pullout beds made due with blankets and other available bedding but definitely not the attention to detail to get a 5star.Fenced yard was great for dogs but other amenities were a lacking for a kiddo. Has WiFi, but no WiFi enabled televisions. DVD Library is not kid friendly if you end up stuck indoors.

Cabin was nice, clean on the inside. The yard had not been touched in quite some time(looked nothing like the pictures). The house next door had people doing construction the entire time(hammers, nail guns, blowers, etc.) The jetted tub did not work. The guest book advised signing out of the "Smart TV", but there wasn't one in the cabin, just an old Magnavox and some DVDs. It wasn't bad, but not the quiet get away spot we were looking for.

The cabin is cozy and comfortable; walking paths are nearby while the cottage is nestled inside a quiet, treed neighborhood. We found it to be the perfect base camp for offroad exploring the region. The large, fenced backyard was perfect for the pup and the screened gazebo offered more space to relax.There were a couple of minor things that we found less than pleasant; like the smoke detector over the kitchen stove, no place to hang towels or hooks for coats. Even with that, we would stay there again.
