The words “Gold Camp” have had a special meaning in Breckenridge since gold was discovered here in 1859. And when you set foot in this cozy condo, you’ll feel like you’ve struck gold: It’s a great condo in a great location at a great price. You’re just minutes from the Peak 8 base area and Historic Downtown Breckenridge on the free shuttle route. Your family and friends will love it … and you’ll love the value!

This remodeled, two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo is convenient and comfortable and one of the nicest units in Gold Camp! With a great layout for enjoying your vacation with friends and family, you’ll feel right at home in this floor level cond.

The kitchen is equipped with granite counter tops, stainless-steel appliances, and overlooks the living space. The microwave is a convection oven, and there is no traditional oven. A wall-mounted flat screen TV with complimentary cable is perfect for catching the game or watching your favorite shows. There’s also a patio area off the living area for kicking back after a big day on the slopes or letting the mountain breeze flow through the condo.

Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, an in-unit washer/dryer, shared hot tubs and a private ski locker. Plus, every Summit Mountain Rentals property comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

- Bedroom two: captain’s bunk (twin over queen), twin bunk bed, flat-screen TV, attached bathroom with walk-in tile shower and granite counters. (sleeps 5)

Everything at this Condo was Amazing! The hosts , everyone that checked in with us via text, the beds and linens were amazing. SO CLEAN!!! the location was great . Any question we had was addressed immediately ! Rose , Camille,Jacob and Chance were so accommodating . i would recommend this to everyone and we will be back for sure!!!!!

Comfortable condo for our family of 4. Nicely renovated bathrooms and kitchen and comfortable beds. Robust “starter kit” of paper towels, tissues, etc was a nice touch when flying in late and not wanting to stop at the store immediately. Condo has a serious hot water heater—no running out of hot water trying to get 4 people showered and out to dinner after skiing. Condo was a bargain during winter vacation week. Rental company was very responsive and engaged. Would definitely recommend!

Super short ride on the bus up to the ski resort bases, short drive down into town. The condo itself had a great layout - plenty of room in the cozy den and open kitchen (which was well stocked) for family bonding. And plenty of space in the bedrooms to unwind and get a good night’s sleep. The most commented on feature was the bathrooms - the jetted tub in the master bathroom was heavenly, and the shower in the other bathroom with double spray was a perfect way to relax. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was very convenient also. Hot tub on site was great. Can’t wait til our next visit!!

Great place!

Perfect size place for our family of 5. Loved the layout. It was small but had everything we needed. Bunk bed room was great for the kids. Loved being on the first floor. Ample parking and right up the mountain from Breckenridge. Buses are available just a short walk out to the road or you can drive too! Will definitely stay here if we come back in town!

The communication and location were good, but the unit leaves plenty to be desired. I think there’s a bit of false advertising. The pictures were taken in .5 or fisheye that makes the rooms appear bigger than they are. VRBO lists bedroom 1 as the master bedroom and bathroom 1 shows there’s a shower. In reality bathroom 2 is in the master bedroom. Normally not a problem, but there was no shower in the master bedroom, only an outdated jetted bathtub. I’ve never seen a bedroom/bathroom mismatch like this in any VRBO properties where we’ve stayed. It was a little awkward taking a shower in the kids room. There were 6 dried out contact lenses left on the bed frame in the bunk room. 2 beds were missing a comforter/bed spread—there was only a thin blanket. Hard to determine the temperature in the unit since the thermostat is so old it doesn’t even show numbers. Master bed frame is noisy. It creeks when you move or get up. Mattress isn’t comfortable. Very limited storage in the bunk room for clothing. We definitely felt it was overpriced once we saw the unit.

Place can be better maintained. No shower on Master bedroom

The place could be better maintained, a few drawers' knobs were missing, no shower on the master bedroom and some of the furniture is very old like the rug on the living room. Small details, the rest was outstanding, great location.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While our visit to Breckenridge is always great, this condo wasn't one we'd choose again. The patio chair was not cleaned up enough to sit out there/utilize the patio. There were multiple outlets in the condo that did not work, which was ironic as the morning we left we heard a transformer blow and we lost electricity to the unit. We had to clean up in the dark that morning. Additionally, please note that there is only 1 shower in the unit and it is in the bunk room. The master bedroom just has a bathtub. Overall, the condo was okay and location was good but I wouldn't necessarily recommend.

Perfect for ski break

Everything was advertised. Downside was no regular oven and no shower in 2nd bedroom but we were aware of this when booking. Is a 5 min walk to shuttle stop and only one stop from peak 8 lifts. Hot tub is shared with other apartments and was indoors. Only issue was that the window handle in master bed was broken making it very hard to open and close. Was perfect for our 2 week stay including three of us working remotely. Wifi worked well but phone signal was not great. On ground floor so no steps in ski boots which was a benefit at the end of the day.

Would stay here again. Some small recomendations

Location is great and it's a .7 mile walk to downtown or take the Gold shuttle. Condo is two bedroom, but it is on the small side. For example, the front door bangs into the 2nd bedroom door if bedroom door left open. I stayed in the summer, and it would have been nice if there was any patio furniture. Even a beach chair or plastic chair. Also, the TV in the living area is small. A 75" or 85" TV should be mounted on one of the walls. Watching sports games would be better. The restaurants/sports bars in town are crowded, and I did not want to tie up a table for 3-4 hours for a big game (college football in my case). All that being said, I would absolutely stay here again.

However the king sized bed was like sleeping on a box spring with no mattress. After three nights I moved to a bunkbeds in pain. The cleaning, especially in the kitchen left much to be desired and I rewashed everything and wiped out drawers. Old food was left behind. It felt gross, especially with the Coronavirus happening. Next time we will stay at the Inner Circle apartment. I believe it had a moderate eating, but it was comfy and clean and felt nicer.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is located on the first floor and parking is nearby which made loading/unloading the car very easy. There is also plenty of parking available. You can access Base 7/8 via a short shuttle ride. The walk to the shuttle stop is short but uphill. We found it easier to walk downhill to the further shuttle stop in the morning and on the way home we got off at the Gold Camp stop and walked downhill to the condo. We had 4 adults in our party and we had enough space for our party. There is a gas grill on the patio and we found the microwave/oven combo to be perfect for our needs. There is an outside closet for all your ski gear. The place has good heating so we were all comfortable. The water gets hot quickly which was nice for shower and relaxing our tired muscles. The only issue we ran into were the beds and pillows which my need to be replaced soon. Some of us did not get the best sleep. Overall, we were happy with the stay and would recommend this place to others.

Enjoyable stay in Breck

Great location, within walking distance to Main St below (about 1 mile) and Peak 8 activities above (about 0.5 mile). Walk-out patio made it easy to come and go, including loading/unloading luggage. Kitchen was well stocked with all necessities. Did have an issue with microwave (only oven function worked), but the management company was quick to get a technician out and bring a loaner microwave to get us through our stay. Room/bathroom setup worked for us - our toddler loved the large shower with the double shower heads! Noted if you use the washer/dryer in the master bathroom, make sure to turn on the exhaust fan while the dryer is running - lots of condensation buildup and humidity (understandable since there’s no easy way to vent, being on the first floor). Overall, enjoyed our stay!

No shower in the master bathroom.

I was very surprised to learn that there was no shower in the master bathroom making it awkward that everybody Has to use the one shower in the second bedroom. It looks like they converted the shower into a bathtub which I think was a very bad move.
