Make memories at the Cottages on Osoyoos Lake, a family-friendly, gated community. Warm and inviting, Sandcastle Cottage is the perfect family destination.

A fantastic spot in the complex, where you can walk to everything (pool, hot tubs, gym, playground, beach) in minutes. One of the few Ambrosia plans with an open, airy, true cottage feel.

Our cottage is stocked with all the little things so you can pack less and have an easier stay. A home away from home.

The complex has everything you need for a perfect vacation. Spend the days soaking up sun on the private sandy beach complete with volleyball courts and a small playground. Take a stroll on the paths in the complex or a dip in the heated pool. There’s even a toddler pool for the little ones. At night get cozy by one of the beach fire pits.

Interested in getting out and exploring? The Cottages are minutes away from dozens of local wineries, and popular hiking trails. We are nestled between the towns of Oliver and Osoyoos. Only a fifteen minute drive in either direction to both town centers where you will find local coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores and more.

such a lovely spot amd well maintained and furnished alongwith everything you wouldwant to enjoy like home.....only problem we had was no extra parking nearby. It was a well-kept area complete with pool, hut-tub and lake.......very popular with all of us.

Very family-friendly cottage with everything you could need for a great holiday. The complex is lovely with a great pool very close by and the private beach only a couple minutes' walk away. Communication with the owner was excellent and I would highly recommend a stay in this cottage.

Wonderful Stay!

This property did not disappoint. The house is very cute and comfortable and very well appointed. Well beyond most rental units, from random condiments to pancake mix, it was so easy to have a very welcoming and comforting stay. This was our first stay at The Cottages and the facility is very lovely. A little bit off the beaten path but easy enough to pop to town for dinners or exploring. We rode our bikes from the property into both Osoyoos and Oliver. Highly recommed this property.

We had a great stay at sandcastle cottage. The location across from the pool and close to the beach was great for our 5 year old girls. The house had everything we needed and lots of toys and activities for the kids!

Far exceeded expectations!

We just returned from an absolutely fantastic stay at Alicia's Sandcastle Cottage and I don't even know where to start to say enough glowing things about this home and experience. We were very familiar with the Cottages community and Osoyoos prior to coming, but had not stayed in this exact home. Suffice to stay, we don't ever want to stay anywhere else! From the moment we arrived, I was blown away by all the details provided, from an incredible and generous welcome package which included coffee, snack and even a bottle of wine! To the incredible collection of toys and games for the kids (we were travelling with two toddlers and a 6 year old) to games and books for adults. Everything was perfect. You truly do not need to pack a thing beyond your clothes. Alicia was an incredible host. She was gracious, communicative, and so kindly reassuring when I was concerned one of the kids had caused a bit of damage to a wall. She provided recommendations, offered to assist with anything at all and her listing was not just "accurate" it was far beyond what we could have hoped to expect! I could go on and on, but to sum up, if you have kids, this is the place to rent, Alicia and her family "get it." If you don't have kids, you will also have an incredible time at Sandcastle Cottage with all that they provide, from inflatables to an exceptional bbq to fun and hilarious "grown-up" games. We plan to rent this cottage again and again and can only hope it's still available when word gets out!

Great beach/cottage vacation

This was our second time at the Cottages on Osoyoos Lake and first time in this house. Location is great, house is well outfitted and Alicia was incredibly helpful, friendly and had great communication. We had 3 kids ages 5 and under with us, and the extent to which the house was prepped for kids was amazing and saved us a lot of packing space! Only complaints were a couple minor maintenance items - the king bed only had a queen sized duvet, had to do a hardware store run to grease most the doors (they woke kids up from naps!), and a good number of the outdoor games had missing pieces or were broken. Also didn't realize there wasn't an extension cord to plug in the EV and the regular cord couldn't reach with no garage access. Small items we worked around, and didn't bother to raise (I'm sure if we did, Alicia would have addressed them!) Definitely would come back to this rental if we choose the Cottages again!

This is our second year in a row staying at this property and will not hesitate to return. Property is clean, spacious and very accommodating for family with young children. Absolutely Amazing family vacation!

This is the best VRBO we’ve stayed at. With 3 young children we really didn’t need to bring anything. There lake house was more than enough space for our families and there was plenty to do for the kids, both inside and outside. The pool is easy to access and the beach right there too! I can’t think of anything to improve on. So happy with this rental, we’ll definitely be back next year!

Clean, beautiful with everything you need

This is a lovely home and a great space to have family time with the lake and pool but the home itself was great for relaxing or playing board games after a day outside.. Owners were responsive, thoughtful, and reasonable. We had everything we needed and more. Especially happy to have containers to use to pack snacks to the beach and for left overs. Excellent supplies for the beach including a wagon to tote our gear. It’s the little things. Love that it was so clean. Thank you for a great vacation.
