Perfect location!

Roomy lake house with all the amenities we were looking for in a vacation getaway. Quiet and comfortable property just steps away from lake Seneca; close to wineries, breweries and restaurants.

Fall in the Finger Lakes

Property owner was extremely responsive as was the caretaker. Home was very welcoming and is in a great location. Would definately recommend this home.

Summer 2023

Great time as usual. Really enjoy staying here. Private location but close enough to everything. Only bad part of the trip is going home.

Family vacation.

Great location and excellent layout

First time staying on the "east" side of the lake and we definitely enjoyed our time here. Property is just close enough to the main roads but still feels like you are away from the busy parts of the area. The house is great, well-equipped, and is actually more spacious than it appears in photos. The neighbors/hosts are wonderful people and very friendly.

Beautiful view

Setting is amazing. Dock is perfect. Property managers and owner are very attentive and pleasant. House needs some work and a deep clean. We did truly enjoy our stay.

Lovely property, gorgeous views

This was a delightful place to stay, with gorgeous views of Seneca Lake and good proximity to wineries. The property is outfitted with everything you need to enjoy your visit to the Finger Lakes. Property owner and manager were very helpful and responsive. Especially appreciated that we were able to host a college graduation party for family and friends!

Fantastic week

We enjoyed our stay Seneca View Oasis. We stayed at the property with my husband’s family, which totaled 6 adults and 3 kids (ages 2, 7, and 8). The water views were amazing, the kitchen was well stocked allowing us to cook meals together, and all of the bedrooms were perfect after long days on the water or enjoying the many vineyards. We would absolutely stay here again.

Another taste of Lake Life

We had a lovely time staying for this years annual lake life getaway for our family. Three generations were able to stay comfortably with lots of sleeping and seating options for eight people. We enjoyed the dock and swimming, plenty of parking. Close access to the areas attractions as well! Kristina was very responsive to my questions. Our only disappointment was the listing stated kayaks and canoe which weren’t available for use. We enjoyed plenty of lawn space for games and the fire pit for evenings by the water. Overall we had a wonderful chip and happy for the experience.

Great Location

The house is in a great location. It has easy access to the lake, there are many wineries nearby, and its a short trip to Geneva. The house itself is older and has some old house quirks. There has been a lot of renovations and a lot of the furniture, flooring, and appliances are new. Some of the furniture, beds, and toilets have seen better days. The house is well stocked and has everything you would need. The dock is great, it's solid and a fun hang out. The view of the lake is spectacular. This was a nice place to have a vacation!

Dad's 80th B-Day Family Vacation

Great week @ the lake. Enough room for 10 of us, 3 couples & 4 kids. The property manager, Tom & his family, were great too. The dock kept 3 teenagers busy fishing when they weren't in the lake or kayaking. Planning for next summer now.

The house looks better than in the photos and was very well stocked - particularly with kitchen equipment. The lot and dock are nice and the location is good. If you have small children, keep them away from the neighbor’s dogs (they are also the owner’s of the rental house). One of the dogs behaves aggressively towards small children. Keep your children separate from the dogs at all times. Make a plan with the rental owner to mitigate risk.

Great house, great location!

This house was perfect for a siblings getaway! Although it was a bit chilly to spend much time outside, being right on the lake was absolutely amazing. The house was well stocked with everything you need and Tom (property manager) is right next door if you need anything - including some puppy time with Raspberry and Blueberry! Great location to the northern wineries, Wegmans and Geneva. A little bit of a drive to the southern end where there are larger pockets of wineries, but it's a great way to explore and view the lake! Highly recommend this house and hope to stay there again!

Perfect for your large family or group!!!

The property sits on the lake on a massive compound that includes a grill, fire pit, and dock. Our group was welcomed by the neighbor's 2 sweet pups, Bleu and Raspberry (don't worry if you're not a dog lover they're usually minding their own). The location is perfect to hop between Seneca and Cayuga wineries and cideries also not far from stores. We will most certainly be back! Thank you for hosting us!!!

Perfect location with incredible sunsets

We celebrated the 4th of July here with family and had an incredible time. The house was better than described in the listing and Tom and Karen were so welcoming and helpful. We had lots of s'mores at the fire pit and were in the water multiple times each day. The location is just fantastic with easy access from the road (not always the case in the Finger Lakes!), and we loved visiting Zugibe for a tasting. We also rented a pontoon boat for a few hours from Seneca Lake Resorts, which was a fun way to explore more of the lake. Thank you Kristina!

Seneca Lake And Summertime

We had a wonderful family vacation on the east side shore of this beautiful Finger Lake. There were nine of us from 8 to 75 and we had a wonderful time. The house had a long and wide backyard that fell into the lake. The house was well stocked with dishes and kitchen utensils; there was a fireplace outside right on the lake with plenty of firewood; the next door hosts were friendly and hospitable. Pretty hard to beat.

Wonderful week

The property was exactly what we wanted - right on the lake! There was plenty of room for 6 adults and our dogs. The property manager was right next door and were very friendly and were always available if needed. They have two beautiful, friendly dogs as well who came to say hello each day! The only somewhat negative - and this is a small one - is that the carpet in the livingroom really needs to be replaced. Like I said - that is a small negative as everything else was great. This property is very close to grocery stores etc. along with many wineries and breweries.

LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS LAKE HOUSE

We were in the area to reunite with my husbands extended family who descended on Seneca Lake in a number of lakefront and lake view homes. This Seneca Lake Oasis, a lake front 5BR home with a screened in porch, fire pit, covered outdoor dining, deck, barbecue grill, brand new dock and full western exposure was everyone’s favorite ! It was all I could have hoped for and more ! The house was fully equipped for cooking and grilling and the host was generous and gracious enough to have all condiments and spices there for our use. Not only that, the house has a washer and dryer that we were able to use- incredibly convenient if you want to travel light with only a few changes of clothes. The house is well loved, well cared for, has games and puzzles for family night or rainy days. I could not have asked for a better location or more gracious hosts . Thank you for allowing us to stay at your oasis on the lake. We hope to be back !!

Great outdoor space - Indoor space needs work

The outside space was wonderful. Great waterfront location and beautiful sunsets. Fire pit was very enjoyable. Outdoor dining space was nice and front yard space allowed us to enjoy lawn games. Owner was very accommodating with allowing us to use water equipment. Read many remarks about carpets being in need of replacement. We expected the carpets to be worn, but we didn’t expect how truly stained and dirty they actually were. Sofa was also very stained and we had to cover it with a sheet. Oven was covered in burnt food. Toaster and refrigerator were similarly dirty. Outdoor space made it worthwhile, but we were disappointed by the house itself.

Appreciate the feedback. The carpet has taken a beating this season with kids and allowed pets. We have scheduled for hardwood floor installation as quickly as possible.
