Andrew's Sandbox's namesake is my oldest son, now a freshman in college. You'll love the Sandbox's 6 bedrooms (5 up and 1 down) and 6, count 'em, 6 bathrooms (4 up and 2 down). Yowsa!

3rd Floor NE Bedroom: Twin over Full Bunk (sleeping up to 3)
3rd Floor NW Bedroom: 2 Queens

Main Floor Living Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa

There's a sitting room, living room, dining room, and well-furnished kitchen. Andrew's Sandbox even has a pool sheltered beneath the home!

Other amenities include televisions, DVD players, cable, high speed internet, master bath, central air, ceiling fans throughout, TWO refrigerators with ice makers, washer dryer, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. Outside showers and picnic table. Also, new wifi mesh network. More consistent coverage throughout the home! (Still can't guarantee the local cable company provision, but if its working, it'll work everywhere!).

Added a propane gas pool heater, so YES the pool is heatable to a maximum of 82-84' (the high side of recommended rec pool temps) to take the chill off! This service is by request in advance with a per night surcharge for length of stay (gas is expensive right now, this does not actually recoup the cost!). Fee subject to change due to incredibly high gas rates right now. Any online quote will show the optional fee and its current pricing. You may also add it after booking by simply requesting the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and at least a few days before check in so we can get it on before you arrive. See our FAQ about heatable pools too.

LOVED Andrews Sandbox!!!

Everything was perfect, hope to visit again once everyone figures out schedules! [🥰 Yay! Thank you so much Erica! We'd love to host you all again. Reach out when ready to lock down the return trip to Andrew's Sandbox--it rents super early for summer and holidays (and other times too) so let's get it set up before it... gets away! 😉 🙏]

Perfect home. Perfect vacation.

Really enjoyed our stay!! Richard was very kind and helpful. We had no issues or problems during our stay. Loved that it had two refrigerators! Home was clean and a perfect size. The windows allowed so many beautiful views of the beach as your morning kicks off. Sat on the porch watching dolphins every morning. 5 stars all around!

We loved Andrew's Sandbox!

Me and my boys decided to do a last minute beach trip, I typically like to stay at a beach house because of the crowds and it's easier with kids. Luickly we ran into this house and booked it. It was very convenient and was a great location. They responded very quickly considering we cooked it as we were on the way there lol. We enjoyed out stay and will 100 percent come back and recommend it to anyone!

We loved everything about this home! We stayed here with our adult children, two grandchildren and my husband's parents, and this house was perfect for all of us! We really loved that the house was just steps away from the beach and the covered pool was convenient when we wanted to get out of the sun or when it rained. The hardest part was leaving at the end of the week! This house is a dream!!!

Great place right on the beach

My extended family and I loved our stay. It was so nice to step out the back door and be right there on the sand. Plenty of beds, baths, and space for the whole crew. Grandkids loved the bunk beds. The pool downstairs was a really nice break when the beach got too hot.

Wonderful!!!

We had such a wonderful stay at Andrew’s Sandbox! The house was perfect for our family of five (kids ages 2, 5, and 6). The beachfront location couldn’t be better, and the shaded pool under the house was a game changer—it was the perfect place to cool off after a hot day on the sand. We also really appreciated the outdoor shower, which made cleaning up the kids after beach time so much easier.The house itself was incredibly comfortable and well-stocked. The beds were cozy, and we had everything we needed to feel right at home. We’ve stayed at other beachfront properties, but this one truly stood out thanks to the thoughtful layout and features.We loved our time here and will absolutely be back—we usually visit two to three times a year, and this is now at the top of our list!

Andrew’s sandbox

We had the best time for our stay here. The house is beautiful and the perfect location. Our group had a variety of ages staying and there were plenty of things close by to do besides hanging out on the beach. We will certainly be back!

Can't wait to come back!

Our stay was great! We enjoyed the space with our family of eight. Any time there was a need, Richard and his team were exceptionally responsive! The walk to the beach was just steps, and the pool was great, too! Cannot wait to stay again!

Wonderful time at Andrews Sandbox

We had the best time! Thank you so much for having us. It was clear you guys also just completed a lot of work as the paint really fresh AND a lot of the furnishings seemed new. We loved it. Great place and top notch management company too!

We enjoyed your house very much. The location, location, location is wonderful! It was so nice to look out of those huge living room and dining room windows and see the sand and waves. It was wonderful to be just steps away and able to come back to the house for various reasons from the beach so easily and quickly! My husband and I had never been to Gulf Shores before. We are used to Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head and Charleston beaches. We found Gulf Shores very nice - not too commercialized, well kept, not crowded, etc. Of course, the non-crowdedness could be because our week was at the end of August. We had the beach almost to ourselves which was wonderful. The sand was so white and the water so clear. Unfortunately we found ourselves in the midst of swarms of stinging flies on several days. That was miserable. Our 4 year old granddaughter was stung by a jelly-fish. She surely did not like that! We realize that you are not responsible for nature! We appreciated the comfortable and attractive furnishings in the living room of your home. We also enjoyed the artwork throughout the house. Everything was very neat and tasteful. We loved having 6 bedrooms - one for each of the 3 grandchildren plus 3 adult rooms - with plenty of bathrooms as well. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The appliances were great. It was wonderful having 2 refrigerators. I will say that your management company was amazing. We pulled out the slow cooker and found that there was no knob on it. I could not cook without knowing whether it was on high or low or what!! So I called the BamaBeachHouses company. In less than 15 minutes our doorbell rang. A very sweet young lady handed me another slow cooker - with a knob. What service! I mentioned two concerns about the house. One was that one door mat on the deck was very very ratty and a curled up tripping hazard. The other problem was that when several of the closet/bathroom doors opened, they rubbed against the flooring and gouge the floor. I told them that I would not want my flooring to be destroyed every time someone opened these doors. I thought that the owner may want to address this problem. She said that she would have the doors shaved off to preserve the flooring after we left. She also said that she would bring us a new door mat. She showed up the next morning with a cute, new door mat which was in keeping with the niceness of the rest of the house. We threw the ratty door mat away. Your management company was top notch in our book!I am so glad that we stayed in your home last week. It was a good experience.

Great trip to Andrews Sandbox in Gulf Shores

We booked this home for a last minute vacation with our family. The home was beautiful and the views were stunning. I was fortunate enough to have my elderly mother stay with us and having a bedroom on the main floor with a easy entrance on the shower was a huge plus. Richard was also a pleasure to deal with and would recommend this home. Thank you again for the hospitality.[😎😎😎 Thank you Jennifer! Fantastic stay at Andrews Sandbox

The time at Andrew's Sandbox was absolutely fantastic! We all truly enjoyed the location, amenities, ease of access to the beach and pool, etc.; first class all around! We will certainly be planning to book a return next year!

Lovely Gulf Shores family vacation

We feel we had the best view of the beach of Gulf Shores in your LR!! We all hated leaving today! The management people responded in a very timely manner when we couldn't get a TV to work, they even stopped over and fixed the issue. The email and txt messages with instructions and information were very helpful. We had a great time and you have a lovely home! [Yay! 😁 Thank you so much Paula! I would be happy to have you all back anytime. If you have any suggestions for my place, or our communications and support, or when ready to return 😉, should be a DM. Relaxing

Perfect house in a great location. Pool was a big success for all, but especially the 8 and 5 year olds. The beach was great. Everything as advertised. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect!

We loved your house!!! The location was perfect and we had plenty of space. I lost my husband in May 2023 and this was a trip for the family to laugh and cry and remember the good times. We were in the pool or on the beach whenever it wasn't raining. In the rain we shopped. We did have a big storm one night that blew the patio table over and moved the chairs around on the deck. Nothing was damaged as far as I know. Again, we loved your house. Thanks for a wonderful, memorable trip for our family.
