We would like to clarify that Marriott is solely responsible for assigning all villas within the designated view category confirmed for a reservation. Concierge Realty does not have control over the specific building, floor, or location assigned, nor are we able to guarantee placement within a particular area of the resort when booking. We do make this clear within our listing description, which states: “The resort confirmation may show a placement designation and the villa should be placed within that category. Please know that the resort holds rights to place the guest anywhere within the property. Issues regarding this matter must be addressed with resort management. Concierge Realty is not responsible for villa placement.” We understand that the assigned location may not have been what you anticipated and appreciate you sharing your experience for future travelers. We’re happy to hear that despite the unexpected placement, you and your family were able to enjoy your stay!

Katrina we are happy to hear you loved the island, and we hear you about your disappointment with the cost. Concierge Realty does our best to keep all prices current. Because Hilton Head is such a popular destination and all time shares set their own prices, we frequently need to change pricing through VRBO. Because availability and pricing changes from day to day and sometimes hour to hour, it is not realistic for us to keep this accurate in all cases. We did let you know that there was an increase in price because there was only one villa left. We gave you the option to decline the villa. You chose to go ahead with the Villa and we explained to you the reason for the increase.
