Ancient watermill close to Chambord and Blois- Loire Valley. Pet-Friendly

We rent our family house, an old water mill, in the heart of the Loire Valley, two hours from Paris (180 km), Sleeps 8 to 9 people.

Wonderful location, 7 km far from the prestigious castle of Chambord and 8 km far from the historic city of Blois, close from the castles of Cheverny, Villesavin, Amboise and Clos Lucé (Leonard de Vinci's last residence), Chaumont, Talcy, not to mention Chenonceau, Bourges, Loches, Villandry.

This mill is surrounded by a 4 hectare park. The only noise you will hear is the sound of the river. The main garden is an island. Most of the property was renovated in 2018.

You can also practice in the surroundings:
- Numerous hiking trails in the surrounding; national forests or in Chambord Park and cycle paths;
- The mill is located 7 km from the natural swimming site of Mont près Chambord;
- Kayak rental in Saint Dyé to go down the Loire;
- Tennis courts by reservation at the AAJB (8km);
- Vineuil Equestrian Centre 2 km away;
- Visit of the Beauval zoo;
- Golf at La Ferté Saint Cyr;
- Region particularly famous for its gastronomy, wine tasting.

The mill includes:
- Ground floor: Large living room with fireplace, fitted kitchen, dining room, 2 bedrooms with double beds, 1 small living room, 1 bathroom with bath and WC, 1 shower room, 1 separate WC.
- 1st floor: 2 bedrooms overlooking the river with double beds, small lounge with a library of various books, 1 shower room, 1 separate toilet. Possibility of additional sleeping accommodation.
- Barn that can accommodate 1 car.
- Central heating
- Sheets and towels are provided

- Garden furniture: benches, tables, chairs, table tennis table, barbecue
- Dogs/cats are allowed after agreement. There is a fee of 120 euros per stay and per animal.

IMPORTANT: Be careful, the house is close to the water. Special care should be taken with young children.
