The large primary suite, located on the main floor, features an en-suite bath with a luxurious soaking tub and a walk-in shower, providing a serene retreat after a day of exploring.

The other three bedrooms are situated on the second floor, ensuring ample space and privacy for everyone.

Enjoy your mornings with a cup of coffee on the deck while taking in the tranquil sights and sounds of the water.

WHAT IS PROVIDED:
Spectrum Rental Properties will provide sheets and bath towels. Beach towels and equipment is not provided. If you would like information on beach equipment rentals, we are more than happy to provide you with a list. Properties will be provided with a starter kit in each full bathroom and kitchen. Each kitchen starter kit will contain a small bottle of dish soap, two dishwasher pods, sponge, and two fragrance free laundry pods. The kitchen will also have one extra trash bag
Each bathroom starter kit will contain a travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup wipe, and body bar.
Spectrum Rental Properties is unfortunately not able to provide additional boxes/bags. This is a starter kit; anything additional will be guests responsibility to provide.

PET POLICY:
Dogs under 40lbs. are allowed with a $200 + tax non refundable pet fee per dog, with a 3 dog maximum. Weight limit on dog cannot exceed 40lbs.
Airbnb guests: This fee is NOT included in your final price. Please notify Spectrum Properties once your booking has been confirmed to add this pet fee(s).
VRBO guests: Guests can only add one dog to the reservation. If you are planning to bring more than one dog, please notify Spectrum Properties to add the additional pet fee(s).
Failure to let us know about your pet(s) could result in a $700 fine.


**The water depth is one foot at the lowest tide, and usually 2 feet or more up to 4-5 feet.Ā  So will depend on the tide cycle. The whole bay is fairly shallow.**

Soundside house

The house and location are both beautiful. The washer and refrigerator need repair. Mattresses are old. The floor was dirty. The kitchen was supplied well. The neighbors were great too.

Everything about this property is amazing. The furniture was comfy as were the beds. Being so close to the water was a BIG plus. Sitting on the back porch in the evenings was a treat. Wonderful setting! Donā€™t hesitate to book this property.

Winter GetwY & Adventures!

We loved our stay, everything you could want, a beautiful home with plenty of room. Furnished with everything you could possibly need. The view was amazing, enjoyed every gorgeous sunset. We took our kayaks and enjoyed them so much. We would go right out back and enjoy the marshes across the way, and took them to Beaufort and went across the river and hiked the trails to find wild horses and the beautiful beach. Wonderful stay!!

I rented this property for a stay to attend my granddaughterā€™s wedding! We had 4 generations under one roof. The home is beautiful, spacious, and had three bathrooms (which came in real handy with all us girls.) Spectrum was very responsive when I couldnā€™t get the lockbox open. Someone arrived within 10 minutes to help. Superior service!

Relaxing retreat house but could have been cleaner

This was a great place to relax and recharge. It fit our family and it was a peaceful space. When we arrived we noticed that the house could have been cleaned more thoroughly and during our stay we saw a few cans and paper plates scattered in the bush area around the side of the house. Though, those experiences did not significantly impact our enjoyment of the house. What did have an impact was that most of the waterfront area is gated off by the neighbor and only a very small grassy part of the waterfront was accessible. Based on the pictures, we had expected to have more space on the beach area behind the house to enjoy. On the brighter side, when we had challenges with the internet and the grill, the property managers were very helpful and even came to the house to help turn on the grill. All things considered, we had a good experience at this house.

The views and location were phenomenal. We loved it so much we are looking to buy near by property. The house has the best stocked kitchen for gadgets and what not of any place we have ever stayed. It made cooking there a breeze.

Vacation at the River

We spent hours looking at properties to rent and decided on this one. The rental process was easy and the communications leading up to our arrival were concise and provided all of the info we needed. The home was clean and inviting. The natural light and the view out the back is amazing. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything needed for meal prep. Beds were comfortable. Our favorite part was being so close to the water. We could launch our kayaks from the little sandy beach at the edge of the backyard. Great place to paddle! It is close to Beaufort, Harkers Island and a quick ferry ride to Cape Lookout and a fantastic beach. We canā€™t wait to go back!

Beautiful and Tranquil - stunning views and sunsets!

The minute you open the door you have a clear straight view to the water in the back. The layout of the home is open and roomy. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked with pans and utensils. The decor is lovely. Privacy lattice on deck so you can enjoy your morning coffee in your PJs. Close to Beaufort and Morehead City. We have stayed here twice and love it. Very clean -housekeeping does a very thorough job.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing and the property is beautiful. We only had a couple of issues: 1. No WI-FI for the first 2 days. 2. Fan with light in living room didn't work therefore we either had to have the really bright main lights on or leave it completely dark.

Spectacular View!

The view alone was worth every penny of reservation. The sunsets were amazing. When standing on the back porch, .you see water from left to right...as far as you can see and you're literally 10 steps to the waters edge. The kitchen and dining area were huge with plenty of room for a large family. Very remote quiet and peaceful location. Pizza delivery service was available from Harkers Island. Spectrum Properties were easy to work with on reservation. Overall stay and accommodations were excellent. The only negatives would be the upstairs carpet needs cleaning and there's only 1 TV in the living room area and 1 older tv in a nook area upstairs. No TV''s in the bedrooms. We did bring an extra TV from home for my boys to play video games but who needs TV's when you have such incredible views of the sound :). Overall great choice for a week or weekend get away

Beautiful View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The views are absolutely gorgeous and the location for us was perfect. The back deck was nice to relax on. The living room and kitchen were very spacious with enough room for us all to spread out. The house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The only thing I wished had of been different was that there had been 3 bedrooms with queen beds instead of 2. There were 3 couples and only 2 queens beds. The other rooms had bunks and twin beds. Wasnā€™t a huge deal because we pushed the twins together to make a king but definitely would have been nice to not have to deal with that. Otherwise the house was perfect for us. Plenty of parking for our vehicles and boat. We will be renting again if available for our dates!

The stay was great everything we needed was provided did not have to buy anything. Neighbors was great. The only down fall was that the TV's need to be upgraded the living room had a small 18"tv. Overall family had a great stay and will be doing it again in the future.
