The location was perfect - just a couple of blocks to the Hobo Pools and a few steps to the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

The location is great. Home had all the basics. It is dated but has cute fishing decor and could use a new floor in the kitchen. Please have more garbage bags especially during the holidays!! Seemed short on forks. We loved our stay and will be back!!

We used the cottage for 2 days of fishing on the North Platte. The place was clean and well stocked with everything we needed.

Perfect spot to just relax and do nothing!! We took our book club up there for a couple of nights and it was perfect close to the hot springs and comfortable place to unwind with a book!!

Snowy Range home base

This house is a very good place to stay for a visit to the Snowy Range. Saratoga is a fun little town and the North Platte River is beautiful and flows right behind the house. I will return there in the future.

Enjoyed our stay at this property, great if you have dogs!

This cottage is small but clean and sweet. 2 comfy beds and a nice, big fenced yard for the dogs. 1 block from the hot springs that was sadly closed due to flooding. Very reasonably priced. Close to restaurants. I would definitely come back.

Welcoming and Comfortable Cottage

My wife and I stayed here for one night. Located on a side street in Saratoga, the cottage is easy to find being a few blocks from Highway 130. The cottage is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Ample parking is readily available in front of it. The look of the cottage interior is a most pleasant surprise as it has been properly renovated while appearing very tastefully decorated and furnished. The beds are most comfortable. More than sufficient hot water was there for us. We would stay here again!

Quaint Little House

The house was just as described. We loved the location to the hot springs and to the town. We were disappointed with the beds. Very uncomfortable. We also would like to see a full size couch in the cozy living room. I was bummed about having to purchase the insurance, that was a first for us.

Perfect vacation!

This property was pretty much everything we were looking for. Loved that we could walk down the road to the Hot Springs in our robe, which I did twice a day every day! Fenced yard was perfect for our small dog. Kitchen was bright and spacious and well stocked with nice pots and pans. Our teenager used one of the bedrooms and our 11 yo enjoyed the cute single pull-out sofa in the living room. (P.S. Couldn't find a sheet to use for that so we used a blanket we had along). The cottage was a lot cuter and brighter than the pictures show. The recliners got alot of use. We will definitely stay here again. The only thing that would have improved our experience is a washer dryer in the unit, but we managed without. Maybe a drying rack to set up for the towels would have been a great addition since we couldn't wash and dry our towels. Absolutley loved it!!!

Why an exceptional rating?

We do not understand why everyone has given this house an Exceptional rating. It was serviceable. The interior was clean and it is close to the hot springs but that isnā€™t enough for such a high rating. We arrived to a front yard with flower pots of dead flowers and weeds. When we went in, we noticed the screen door was about 2 inches above the door threshold so we did not leave the door open at any time due to the exposure to the outside. There are no screens on the living room windows so you have to slide up the lower part of the window, insert an expandable screen in just the right place, then lower the window onto it. To close the window, you reverse the process. The bathroom was small and there was no countertop space to put toiletries. The shower is tiny. A large person would hit the sides while bathing. The wooden outside deck was a bit spongy in places. The table and chairs were so dirty I had to clean them before we could use them. Rain had spattered dirt off the deck onto the siding many times and there were slight traces of mold. The wifi was spotty. The first day we were there it took minutes to open anything and since we were there on business, that was a problem. I tried again the second day and the speed was better. We have stayed in VRBOs from Naples, FL, to Homer, AK, to Rome and this house was definitely not exceptional.

Saratoga vacay

The property was just as listed. Very close to all you need to do in Saratoga. Very close to hot springs. The fenced yard was great for our dogs and much appreciated. Check in was simple. We had a lovely time and would recommend to all.

When I first arrived Saratoga, it was love at first sight. I have traveled all over the world and Saratoga is where my heart sang! I love hot springs, riding bikes, and just being in nature.

I was lucky to find this cottage. The location is fantastic. Close to the river, boat launch, hot springs, and to downtown. Everything is in walking distance.
