Mint Tower is a one story lounge area and a three story double tower which houses the kitchen and the bedrooms. Everything in this villa is focussed on comfort and leisure, the lounge with its laziness inviting furniture is less than one step away from the deck, the pool and the sunbathing area. In the lounge you also find the media centre with satellite TV, a portable installation for your Ipod or MP3 player and a DVD player. When you walk through the lounge you see in front of you the modern comfortable kitchen with warm wooden furniture, the spiral stairs to the upper floors and an spacious bathroom, toilet and utility room.
When you climb the spiral stairs to the first floor you will find yourselves in a romantic castle room. In the centre of the round room you will find a round bed from where you have a spectacular view through the balcony doors to Vasiliki bay and the islands of Keffalonia and Ithaka. Behind the circular wall around the bed you will find your own private toilet and shower and wash basin. From your balcony your view widens and becomes even more spectacular.
One floor up along the spiral stairs you find the second bedroom with two single beds, also its own toilet, shower and wash basin and a window with its own view.

Fabulous place to stay

We loved the house, it was homely, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great holiday. The hosts were welcoming and the house was cared for, with much attention to all the details. We loved the views down to Vasiliki harbour too. Thank you for a memorable holiday.

A hidden gem

We loved the tower and would have stayed longer if we could. The accommodation is full of character but also very comfortable very private and the pool was wonderful

Really great holiday. Lovely villa.

Loved this villa and setting. Amazing view and pool. Loved the design of the villa. Google maps is determined you should get by the most difficult means - please dont listen to google maps. The owners are lovely and very responsive. You can walk to town but the walk back is very difficult in the heat of the day. Bring bug repellant.

Incredible property

Property was as nice, if not more so, than it appeared in the photos. Is a bit remote from the city but was only a 25-35min walk to town and we were able to get a taxi back in the evening. Pool area is incredible with a great view of the town and water. Property is very well kept and has everything you need to make it a comfortable stay. Had a well stocked kitchen with everything you would need to make a full meal which was great to find as many properties only have basic cook wear that doesnt really allow you to cook. Very welcoming hosts and was a great stay.

Wonderful stay in atypical houses

We have had a wonderful stay in this tower with the amazing pool as you open the door to the outside. Circular stone walls are amazing. Circular beds also. The place is quiet but not far from the Vasiliky beach. One or two suggestions: To increase the view on the beach and to avoid circling of the houses by vegetation, some of this vegetation could be made less dense.

An dieser Stelle möchten wir uns ganz herzlich für einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem traumhaften Haus bedanken. Man mag es eigentlich gar nicht verlassen, um die so grüne und einfach traumhaft schöne Insel zu erkunden. Die Aussicht auf Vasiliki vom Haus aus ist einfach unschlagbar. Der Mint Tower ist eines von drei nebeneinanderliegenden Häusern. Der Pool ist von den anderen beiden Häusern nicht einsehbar. Die Ausstattung im Haus war perfekt. Sollte in früheren Rezensionen stehen, es sei schmutzig oder es andere anderweitige Beanstandungen gegeben haben, können wir das nicht ansatzweise nachvollziehen. Es war einfach ein Traum! An dieser Stelle möchten wir uns auch noch einmal an die gute Seele in den Häusern bedanken. Mirella! Danke für alles und wir wünschen ihr einfach nur das Beste! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Noch ein kleiner Hinweis! Fahrt bloß nicht mit Google Maps! Wenn doch biegt in die ElizabethStreet ein (gegenüber vom Portofico Hotel). Zunächst befährt man eine schmale asphaltierte Straße (mit einigen Schlaglöchern), der dann auf einer Schotterpiste endet. Man sollte hier einen etwas kompakteren Wagen leihen (SUV). Auch wenn der Weg dorthin nicht ganz einfach ist, können wir nur sagen: Die süßen Trauben hängen hoch! :)

Entspannung pur in toller Umgebung

Sehr schöne Villas mit traumhaften Blick.sehr nette Gastgeber.Mirella ist der gute Geist der Häuser hilft wo Sie kann.Es war fast Ende der Saison da hat man gemerkt das einiges an dem Haus zu reparieren ist. Hat aber nicht wirklich gestört man ist ja im Urlaub. Der Weg zu der Villa ist beschwerlich ziemlich huckelige Schotterstraße.Schöne Strände in der Umgebung. Meist nur mit Auto oder Boot zu erreichen.Bootstour von Nidri mit der Odysseus war sehr lustig ist ein nachgebaute Galeere.Motorboottour ohne Führerschein zwischen den kleinen Inseln bei Nidri ist auch ziemlich schön. Viele einsame Buchten. Insgesamt ein sehr erholsamer und schöner Urlaub.

Heerlijke ontspannen tijd in zeer fijne goede ingerichte torenvilla

Wat een heerlijk verblijf hebben wij gehad in de torenvilla. De eigenaren zijn super attent en lief, en het personeel is dat ook. Echt een warm bad. De villa heeft een heerlijk zwembad, alle faciliteiten zijn in de villa aanwezig en het uitzicht is ronduit fantastisch en verveelt geen moment.

A beautiful hillside hideaway

The towers are beautifully designed and private. We had an excellent stay and would recommend this accommodation to people who want to get away from it all. Great facilities in the property and comfortably fitted out.

Home from home

Unfortunately we missed the message from Ella about meeting for directions to the villa so we took a little while to find it. However, that didn’t matter at all when we did at last stumble upon it as it’s one of the most beautiful villas I have ever seen. The road leading to tower villas is a little bumpy but once you park up outside of your villa it really doesn’t matter. The inside was homely but not fussy and spacious but not bare. It was just a “wow” as soon as we walked in the front door. I loved the round bedrooms in the tower and the round bed in the master bedroom. It was so incredibly well equipped with coffee pods, tea, sugar, washing and cleaning products, towels, tea towels, dish clothes, hand soap, etc, etc and best of all Mirellas homemade cake and some homemade sweet white wine. When we’d finished admiring the inside we opened one of two patio doors downstairs to explore the garden, pool and the fabulous view. There is shade somewhere inthe garden at all times of the day and plenty of seating options in order to make the most of it. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and an evening meal outside whenever we were at the villa to eat. Our time in the garden was also spent with the cicadas and numerous butterflies It was in a great location to explore the south and west of the island and admire the sight of Ithaca and Kefalonia in the distance. Gerard came to greet us and give us a guided tour after our arrival which was lovely. We had an issue with the air conditioning which Mirella tried very hard to resolve for us as it was very hot and she popped by most days to ensure all was fine. We loved it all so much that my husband was looking at jobs on the island and fancied a moped! The biggest compliment is that one day we’ll be back 🥰

Wunderschönes hideaway

Sehr ansprechendes, sauberes Ambiente mit Vollausstattung. Es fehlte an nichts. Wunderschöner Blick auf die Bucht von Vasiliki und wer eine Auszeit sucht, ist dort genau richtig. 5min mit dem Auto von Vasiliki entfernt und unweit von den traumhaften Stränden der Westküste. Sehr nette Vermieter. Nur empfehlenswert!
