This newly built lakefront cabin is just minutes from Kenora, On. Breathtaking views all day, followed by a romantic sunset in the evening. Enjoy the 4 bedrooms (2 king bed, 2 queen beds), 3 full bathrooms, huge living area, full kitchen, BBQ and dining areas in the main floor and walkout basement. Enjoy the outdoors, or just relaxing on one of the two huge decks or around the fire pit. NEW this year: dock with swimming area and boat parking for 1 boat. Summer kitchen off dock area with fridge. Go fishing off the dock or bring your boat and enjoy all the lake has to offer! No charge for public boat launch on lake and lots of space to park a boat on trailer overnight. Lake is great for fishing, swimming and boating. Drive right up to the door, unload and start enjoying.
Water in cabin plumbing is lake water (not potable), power is off the grid, solar system is sufficient for normal use, care must be taken to conserve energy
Please note internet is satellite and speeds vary.

Beautiful property! All the amenities were there. The property owners were wonderful - they were quick in answering any questions we had and helping out when needed.

Fantastic property and location

Beautiful cottage, well equipped from high quality beds and bedding to kitchen. Very comfortable at all times- even has a/c and central heating if needed. Location- perfect sized lake- big enough to explore. Calm water, no strong currents, perfect for swimming for kids.

Perfect Getaway

Brad and Debbie are great hosts and have such a nice cottage. New, clean, comfortable and they have thought of every detail. Views all around and from either deck from dawn to dusk! We really enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat!

We had an amazing time at Eagles View. The check is was easy and the accommodations were spotless, modern and comfortable. The kitchen facilities has everything we needed. It was set up perfectly for our family. The lower screened in deck was a beautiful space to for us to relax and the views were spectacular. Our hosts were very helpful as well. We hope to be back soon.

Unreal Property

First off the pictures do not do the property justice. The HOUSE is immaculate. Fantastic decks, new BBQ and the list goes on. No detail is overlooked. The owner was very laid back and very accommodating! He even spent an hour with us launching our boat. I can't say enough about this property and the owner.

Fishing, swimming and making memories

As a repeat stayer we knew exactly what to expect. Brad & Debbie are excellent hosts - always going to extra mile and beyond. Kitchen is well appointed. Comfortable beds. Great views. Can’t wait for next summer!

Nice place.

Great cabin overlooking the lake. Everything is basically brand new. Well maintained. Screened in deck is a really winner. Lots of great paddling on the lake and quite quiet compared to many lakes in the region. Highly recommend.

Perfect break from reality. Amazing views. Clean, comfortable. Well appointed. Extremely helpful hosts. New dock and fire pit just added to our experience from last year. Would move in to stay forever!

Absolutely Amazing

This place was absolutely amazing! The place and views were incredible. Definitely will want to stay again. Kitchen was fully stocked and everything about our stay was great. Owner made sure we had everything we needed and responded very quickly to enquiries. The welcome basket was also a very nice touch.

Family Getaway to Paradise

Excellent views. Stellar sunsets. Great layout for multiple family units. Lots of space both indoor and out! Could have lived in the screened in deck. Can’t wait to return.

What a View!

The property is new and clean! Having 2 decks, with the lower deck screened in was fantastic, as it provided shelter from the sun during the day and mosquitoes in the evening. It is located on a very quiet lake. The owners, Brad and Debbie were very accessible for any questions on the property. They were also very accommodating in allowing us to use their beach, Seadoo dock, water tube and tow rope.

Way better than advertised!

Pictures do not do justice to this property. This place is amazing! If you're into clean, comfortable, spacious modern accomodations with a gorgeous view then this is your place. Wish I was better at putting my thoughts in writing because this gorgeous house and it's hosts deserves the highest accolades. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the vast unspoiled forest and pristine lakes that surround this modern day castle on a bluff

We are a retired couple that built a cabin close to ours for others to enjoy. We love the lake and the outdoors, and really like others to enjoy it as well. We are both originally from Gimli Manitoba, then settling in Winnipeg to bring up our two sons, now living between Winnipeg and our cabin.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Enjoy the views from two huge decks, if sunny and hot is what you are looking for, the top deck is for you. Bugs bugging you? Go to the screened in bottom deck. The view is just about the same from both decks.
Drive right up to the door, for easy access to the cabin, two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs. Three (3) full bathrooms, and an outhouse with a compost toilet.
Live off of the grid, solar powered, so no carbon footprint (unless you are bad and not being power smart, in that case we have a back up generator)
Close to Kenora (about 1/2 hour) but far enough to be secluded.
Watch the bald eagles from the property, say "hi" to the fox, (keep a safe distance), watch the fish jumping, turtles swimming around, seagulls looking for some fish, and lots more wildlife!!
