Step into a smartly appointed home designed for comfort and gathering. The open living area provides a welcoming atmosphere for everyone to be part of the good times, from lounging to shared meals. The full, modern kitchen with a large capacity refrigerator and all essential appliances makes home cooking enjoyable and easy.
Outside, immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding wooded area. Multiple decks and a large front porch with seating and a grill offer ample opportunities to enjoy the fresh air and spot local wildlife, like deer and wild turkeys. Gather around the fire pit under the stars for memorable evenings with friends and family.

Great House and Location!

We had a wonderful stay! This was the perfect spot for a relaxing family vacation. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed spending time at the boat dock and around the fire pit in the evenings. The setting was peaceful, and we felt right at home. Very happy with our stay — we’d love to come back!

Excellent House & Host!

The house was beautiful and very well stocked. Dave was the best host! The A/C went out and he had it fixed within a few hours. There were kayaks and bicycles available for our use. Would highly recomnend this place!

This house looks little from the outside,but its so big.

Everything nice and clean. I know they are still recovering from storms, house was fine but electricity blinked several times.

Beautiful property. House was great for our family, gave us plenty space to hangout and relax. The fire pit area was nice and the location was close to the water and very peaceful. We would absolutely stay again

Peaceful quiet setting, home is very well appointed and has everything needed to enjoy a few days with friends. Lots of seating on the decks and around the fire pit. We loved our time there and would highly recommend!

Highly recommend!

This property has everything you need and more! You can tell David and Laura prioritize the comfort of their guests. The house is spacious, beds are comfortable, toilet paper is good quality (not something you typically find in a rental). The furnishings are beautiful and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need - appliances, pots, pans, dishes, spices, and much more. We stayed for a week and ate every meal at the house, with the exception of dinner one night. Our teens enjoyed the ping pong table, used the bicycles and the inner tubes and pool noodles. David checked in on us and answered questions and was very responsive and informative. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Lake Cumberland Retreat

Beautiful house with great kitchen near upper end of Lake Cumberland, Burnside & Somerset. If Wolf Creek Dam is the "alpha" then this property is the Omega Retreat.

Great place and awesome weekend!

My wife and I, and three other couples stayed at this great home. We were welcomed by the David who walked us around the property and showed us all the amenities. Very well kept and we had a wonderful stay. We would definitely recommend this property and we will return for another trip.
