Welcome to Crestwood Lodge!
Recently remodeled home on the chain of lakes in Alexandria. Large lot located on the inlet of Lake Le Homme Dieu with access to everything the chain has to offer!

This is our six year hosting vacation rentals and we are very excited to have you stay. Sleeping for 12 in 4 large beds and 2 sleeper sofas (plus pack-n-play crib).

Everything is like new! Open floor plan for the whole family to spend time together. A walkout lower level with second living room. Spacious yard with room for kids to play including a sandbox and toys. Enjoy the deck and patio, gas grill, fire pit, dock, kayaks, and lawn games.

We charge a $200 pet fee for up to two dogs.

Parking for 4-5 cars or boat trailer. Please note video monitoring is used on the outside of property only.
NOTE - 2026 summer weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday with the following adjustments: 6/27 to 7/5/26 -7 night stay and 7/5 to 7/11/26 - 5 night stay.

Pontoon is available to rent with daily or weekly rates directly from owner. Seats up to 12 people, not suitable for tubing or skiing. 2026 rates (2 boats available ) = $1600/4-7 days, $1000/3 days, $500/1 day
(Must refill tank or $50 charge). Recommend reserving at time of booking.

Great place for all of our family to stay. Ages 1-60. This is our 3-4 year of staying here. The only thing its missing is a fridge out in the garage for extras. :)

This was our second time staying at this beautiful property. And, weā€™ve already booked for a third stay. Great location and the home works perfectly for our family with 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 2 on the lower level. Highly recommend this property. The owners are incredibly responsive and very friendly.

We just returned from an unforgettable week at this beautiful home on the lake. The home was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated ā€” it had everything we needed and more. From morning coffee on the deck with a view of the water to sunset boat rides and evenings by the fire pit, every moment was great.Itā€™s perfectly located right on the lake, making it easy to enjoy kayaking, fishing, boating, and just relaxing by the shore. We had so much fun exploring the area and soaking up the peaceful surroundings.Our host was absolutely wonderful ā€” so welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Another Fantastic Stay at Crestwood Lodge

This was our second year staying at Crestwood. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood and has everything needed for a memorable stay. The check-in process was easy, and the owners are responsive and clearly concerned about their guests' comfort. The kids enjoyed fishing from the dock and I'm certain all of the neighbors could hear their squeals of delight with every caught fish. To be clear, these are not keepers, but for a 2 and 3-year-old, it made no difference. Eventually, their arms tired of reeling them in. The sandbox was a bonus feature for the little ones. We rented the pontoon, which added to our delight, since there was plenty of space for the entire family. The kitchen is well equipped (with filtered water), and we made use of the downstairs beverage fridge. The house is clean, well-maintained, and quite comfortable.

We really enjoyed the VRBO and use of the amenities especially the open kitchen for meal prep, decks for hanging out and the large yard for games. The cleanliness and views of the lake upon arrival were impressionable. Also rental of the pontoon for use was a breeze. Thank you for hosting!

Best Experience We've Ever Had at a VRBO

We spent a week at this property and enjoyed every second. Here are the highlights: Clean and Comfortable: The house was immaculate, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Loved the kitchen! Entertainment: There were plenty of games and outdoor seating options. We rented the pontoon; great rate for a boat that ran well and the perfect size. Quiet Neighborhood: The area was peaceful and serene. Ideal Location: Despite initial concerns about the inlet location, we found the bay setting to be a huge advantage, as we avoided the typical lake noise. Fantastic Fishing: The fishing experience was outstanding. Exceptional Service: The communication, responsiveness, and accommodations were remarkable. When we had trouble with the pack-and-play portable crib, a replacement was provided almost immediately. And that was just the beginning. Though we donā€™t consider ourselves high-maintenance guests, we did occasionally need support, and Kirk and Lisa did not disappoint. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

My parents has been in the area for 50 years. My kids have alway loved coming up here. Grandma and Grandpa are no longer living and the house was sold at Frenchman Cove last year. It is a tradition and now there are grandkids. We hope to get back next year.ā¤ļø

We were all so pleased with this property. The home was updated and fit our family perfectly. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, the three bathrooms were so nice to have with a large group. Perfect stay!

We had a great time during our week on the LeHommeDieu inlet. The property was very clean and had plenty of everything we needed. Probably the only VRBO weā€™ve stayed in that had plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, and towels. The house is really well thought out, with plenty of storage and a convenient entry bench with lots of hooks and room for shoes. The kayaks and fire pit were fun. We had five adults, a child, and a small dog- weā€™d all love to stay here again!
