Cabins West Lodging is located in the middle of West Yellowstone and is only 6 blocks from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The Absaroka Cabin is 3000 square feet log cabin with a large kitchen and living area and antique furnishings. Perfect for large families or for adult groups that still desire the privacy of their own bedroom. The property has plenty of parking space for large groups. This is the perfect home base for all of your planned activities.

The kitchen has everything you would ever need, except the food! The 60 inch flat screen TV has satellite and DVD/VCR combo for your relaxing enjoyment. 6 bedrooms with 6 queens and 1 double bed along with the loft with plenty of room for the kids to sleep 'out' or play games. The entry is a large mud room with lots of space for fishing gear, snowmobile helmets, skis and boots, or whatever else you might stash away there. This is as close to home as you can get while on vacation!

We had a wonderful time in Yellowstone! The Absaroka Cabin was perfect for me, my kids and my grands. Easy access to the park. The cabin was perfect for dinner all together, playing cards and putting together puzzles when we were not out exploring. Cabin was well kept and had everything we needed. Thanks so much.

Extended Family Gathering

The cabin was the perfect spot for our large group of cousins to be together for Memorial Day Weekend. Its proximity to Yellowstone made for easy access, while shops, restaurants and other attractions were all within walking distance to combine for a wonderful time!

Excellent accommodations!

The Absaroka cabin. We have stayed in numerous vrbo’s across the country this is hands down the best. Perfect location. The kitchen fully stocked with all the necessary dishes etc. plenty of bath towels. Clean and beautifully decorated .

We found this place after our other accommodations were canceled by the owner with short notice. We were so happy we found Absaroka at 336 Firehole. Jeff was great throughout the process. The accommodations were splendid. Plenty of room to eat, play games and sleep. We used the fire pit twice. Overall we enjoyed our stay. There was a little bit of traffic noise at night. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Great Family Cabin

The check in and checkout processes were clear and easy. The cabin was very clean, and spacious for our family of 14. There was plenty of room for us to hang out, as well as eat together. The kitchen was well equipped. The location was very convenient to restaurants and shops, as well as the park entrance. We enjoyed our stay here.

Great experience!

Absaroka Cabin was a great home base for our large family group's trip to Yellowstone. The cabin was clean and roomy and the kitchen was well stocked. Check in process was simple and the manager extremely easy to work with. And it's only a few blocks from the park entrance. I highly recommend this cabin!!

Family Trip to West Yellowstone

We could not have picked a more perfect place/location. The cabin was cleaner than any hotel room I have ever stayed in and since I travel for work, that is a lot of hotels. Jeff responded to my inquiries within minutes. We did not experience one problem or issue the entire stay. I cannot recommend this place enough. Fantastic all around !!

Perfect location for a Yellowstone visit!

We loved the location and cabin. It was just as advertised and perfect for family of 9 plus a 2 year old. The cabin is furnished with almost everything needed except for the actual food which was wonderful. I have already recommended this cabin to friends who are planning a trip in 2024. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wow Times Ten

My title attempts to capture the magnitude of my/our enthusiasm for this lodging. We, my friends and I, travel throughout the year hiking in the United States (and internationally). I am responsible for arranging group accommodations. I search for lodging that matches their posting, i.e., close to trailheads, to shopping and walking distance to town, and so forth. We also need space to move and be, access to a well stocked kitchen, laundry facilities, amble shower space and towels, comfortable beds and linens etc.v We are not “picky”, we are backpackers and hikers; we tolerate all kinds of mishaps. And this lodging, and I say this will full group support, is one the of the best, I repeat the BEST rentals we have shared in many years. Jeff and Oly know what renters need and they provide it, all of it. The kitchen was a pleasure. We all cook! And we had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were commercial grade and they provided a jar of quarters. The rooms were spacious. The linens and beddings comfortable. Overall, the house is huge and there’s no lack of personal space. The parking is laid out and easy to to share with nearby renters. Jeff and Oly were easy to reach with any questions and accommodating! And location! We walked to town for groceries, explored historical sites, appreciated local restaurants and music. More to say but out of space. I highly recommend Jeff and Oly’s rental! WOW!!!!!

Great Place in West Yellowstone

This property is pretty much exactly as described on the listing. It is exceptionally clean and well maintained. It was perfect for our party of 12, including my wife and I, our three children, their spouses and their children. Great setup for a large group like ours. The location in West Yellowstone is perfect for walking around town so you don't have to worry about finding parking on the main streets or parking lots, which can be hard to find at peak times. The owner was great at communicating and even called me the day of arrival to let me know the unit was ready if we wanted to arrive earlier. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to West Yellowstone and the surrounding area.

Wonderful experience

This property was in a great location, clean, and well equipped for our group of 11. Plenty of room and bathrooms were well stalked with clean towels. Check in/out was very easy and the host Jeff was very responsive. We had an issue with a downstair bathroom blocking up. He took care of it immediately. The only improvement I can think of is adding more pillows and updating the bedspread/quilt. Current condition makes the bedroom (and pictures) dated.
