Choose these views and a great house!

Perched on a prime spot overlooking the lake across from Manson Bay, this a great choice for your stay. No surprises here, just a nice home in a cool, safe setting that is close enough to the action without the noise and traffic. Look at the pictures and read our 5-star reviews. Our home features large bedrooms, nice bathrooms, an open dining / well stocked kitchen and a wonderful fenced in yard with relaxing gardens and a pergola dining deck. Soak in the large, jetted master bedroom tub and enjoy the central AC on those hot summer days. The garage is also a game room with lake views. Only 5 minutes to the State Park Beach, a 20-minute scenic drive into town, 10 minutes to the nearest winery, but light years from city noise and traffic, this is a great non condo option for families, couples and friends who want space and a place to create some great memories and chill. If you want peace and quiet away from the crowds and 180 degrees viewing of this picturesque valley and the critters that inhabit it, this is your place. Peaceful, private, and 1 mile from the State Park beaches, watercraft rentals and boat launch. Use the money you'll save staying with us for your daytime adventures. Rent watercraft. Take a wine tour. Ride the Ferry Boat to Stehekin for a day trip. Go to your relatives wedding event, family reunion, or in town activities then come home to your quiet, happy place and get a good night’s sleep. This is our happy place, too, as we live next door, so no parties, reunions or events allowed, no more than eight people allowed on site. Boats and trailers can park on the owners' driveway next door, on the lakeshore road shoulder below the house, or at the State Park launch area. Don't pay more to get less and be with the crowd in crowded, noisy places when you can choose this view, these gardens, and peace and quiet that comes with a nice clean house that isn’t that far from the adventures guests seek in Chelan. Owner checks in all guests so please be transparent in your booking requests so you and us will both have a great stay! Read the reviews and our rules section.

Fantastic place in Chelan! This was our first time staying in this section of the lake and we loved the easy access to the state park, quick route to town, and a beautiful home and view. Highly recommend!

Great views fun time

Great host and beautiful home

Really enjoyed our stay super clean beautiful home loved it was fully equipped. Tom was very communicative and loved he was there to give us a tour and easy to reach if needed. Loved the view of the lake from the house and trees everywhere will definitely be back again.

spacious and up to date interior -but we so enjoyed the gazebo/garden view over the lake away from the noise of town --the hosts were especially welcoming and helpful --the driveway hill is well maintained and not difficult at all -thanks and blessings

A beautiful getaway

Our host Tom met us and gave us a walk-through of the house. Other than that, we had complete privacy at this beautiful home high above Lake Chelan. Tom's notes emphasize the desirability of all-wheel or four-wheel drive. Pay attention, as the house is at the end of a long and steep gravel/dirt road. We were three women in our seventies. We had a four-wheel drive and loved the location!

Beautiful house

The house is very beautiful, comfortable and has everything that is needed. The place is very relaxing and you rest very well and the house is very clean. The garden is very nice. My family and I would rent the house again

Lovely Chelan vacation

We had a wonderful stay in Lake Chelan at this lovely Lake Chelan home. Good location that was an easy drive to the lake, wineries and downtown. Very private and peaceful location! The house was clean, very spacious with a wonderful outdoor space and fantastic view. The owner was easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We definitely recommend this vacation home!

Family trip!

Our little family booked this for a week to enjoy some lake time and sunshine. Could not have picked a better spot. Tom went out of his way to make our arrival smooth and carefree. This property is clearly well-cared for and made for a spectacular stay, peaceful and quiet. Would book again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much Tom!

Beautiful views

Gorgeous views, quiet, and private. Loved the property, owner was very helpful, gracious and even decorated for our birthday celebration with lovely flowers from his garden. This property was close to the state park, not too far from town to visit. We had games to enjoy as a family, and a lovely pergala to sit and enjoy the nature sounds with the quiet. My favorite ammenity of the oroperty was the large jetted tub.

What a view!

We stayed here for three nights to enjoy the sun in Lake Chelan. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and the place is equipped with what we needed. Be mindful that the pathway leading to the house is narrow, one-way, and inclined; otherwise, we can park our three vehicles there just fine. The curtain was thin, suited for summer, and if you want to sleep more without the glare of the sun, bring an eye mask with you. There’s a garden in the backyard that bears tomatoes and other vegetables. The view from the house is just magnificent. It was nice to sit down by the patio, enjoy a cup of coffee while looking at Lake Chelan. The house is close to the winery, gas station, restos, everything.

Perfect for the family

We booked last minute and wasnt sure what to expect given lack of available options but were delighted at every turn. The house is more than adequate and the garden was lovely. We were greeted by a family of deer walking down the hill late Saturday afternoon, just perfect for the kods. Its good to know you can still find those peaceful spots around the lake without having to mortgage your house to pay for it. worth y

Magical

We are building a home in the lake Chelan area. So we came to explore and plan our project. We brought friends with us. The property was in a magical setting. It is a few miles out from the downtown area, but well worth the extra drive. The driveway is not for the faint of heart, but once on the property, the views were amazing - from every room in the house - and from the outdoor gazebo - just could not be beat. The hosts - Tom and Kathy (and their adorable puppy (red dog Rory) - we so welcoming! The kitchen was well stocked and we had free access to the fresh herbs outside. In fact, tom brought us Romain lettuce, zucchini, and raspberries from his garden :-). We will definitely stay there again! And keep the hosts as friends.

Relaxing time with a great view!

The family enjoyed their time on the property. The owner of the property was very thorough in communicating directions and ensured that he was present to guide us through the property when we checked in. This was much appreciated! The house was well equipped with necessities in the kitchen such as paper towels, aluminum foil, plastic baggies and spices. Thank you for thinking of the things that we would have easily forgotten. We also found the house to be very clean and well appointed with comfortable furniture. We especially enjoyed the outside courtyard and gazebo! The drive into the property is a bit of a climb. The advice of an all-wheel drive vehicle was appreciated. We would gladly stay at this property again.

Chelan Getaway

This property is phenomenal. It has a helicopter view of the north and south parts of Chelan due to being high up the mountainside. It is very private. The driveway is very steep but very well groomed. There is a beautiful garden to relax in complete with hammock. Mule deer come very close to property and it is fun to watch them grazing while relaxing in the garden pergola. Bird watching off the hook. The house is spacious with 3 bedrooms. It was perfect for our whole family to get away all together. We enjoyed cooking in large kitchen with a view from every window. We brought our food in coolers when we arrived which is the way to go as the main store is in the town of Chelan 20 min away. We did go to town to enjoy city park swimming, shopping. The state park is five minutes from property but was full for day use. We went to 25 mi creek park which has great swimming and fishing pier. Karma winery is nearby which is one of our favorites. We will be back definitely! Tom is an incredible host, fun to visit with! He provided in person service and help anytime it was needed answering all questions and giving tips on the area. I recommend this property.

Amazing view

This was a last-minute weekend getaway to Lake Chelan to end the summmer. Our teens spent Saturday at Slidewaters water park while we enjoyed the panoramic view of the lake from this property.

Beautiful View

The house and property was perfect with spectacular views; however, it was up a very steep gravel hill so we were unable to walk down to the water or anywhere else.

Thanks for the review. Our only non 5 star.....but we prefer all guests are aware of the driveway access to the paved road so we do not have people saying they were misled by my listing. If it were on the water, it would be three times the nightly rate, at least. I do my best to have happy campers, and say and show in pics the access is gravel and steep so AWD or 4H vehicles are suggested.

Great place to stay. A bit of a hill for a driveway, but our van made it just fine. Very clean, well furnished and roomy place. Would happily stay there again.

We rented homes and condos in Hawaii for 15 years until moving to Chelan in 2005. We built this home in 2019 on the parcel next to ours and are looking for repeat guests to come each year who appreciate a rental like this until we sell it for retirement. We already have several repeat guests.

When you see the view that made us buy this location on 8 acres you will agree this is a special place. We live on adjacent 11 acres in case you need assistance. All our first 4 seasons guests were pleasantly surprised by the home and setting. Please read our reviews. Be on the lake bothered by jet skis and neighbors for way more per night or be perched above the lake in peace when you get home after Chelan adventures saving money by grilling and chilling at our place. Our access road and driveways are gravel so AWD or 4H vehicles are recommended but not mandatory.
