LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Nestled in a delightful, family friendly Misquamicut neighborhood, our sun-filled beach house is a 5 minute stroll to the ocean! Our guests have access to 3 private Misquamicut Fire District (MFD) ocean beaches, with life guards and clean bathrooms. The beaches are a quick & easy walk from our beach home.

RENOVATIONS COMPLETED IN MAY 2023! We are very pleased with our new brand kitchen. We love the new deck off the kitchen, and we are over the moon about our new screened in porch. We also added new flooring throughout most of the house.

Lovely stay at the beach!

Absolutely great stay at the beach! The cottage is adorable, in a quiet neighborhood and so close to the beach. We have two small children (4 and 1) who just loved all of the local activities….beach, aquarium, carousel! Cathy was very responsive and a great host.

Big Brother

If you want to feel like your back in high school and your parents are out of town, stay here. I am 65 yo and have not thrown a keg party in decades, but I was constantly monitored by the outdoor cameras and who was coming or going. My 41 yo daughter and 5 yo granddaughter were not allowed to visit because you are only allowed a MAX of the same SIX “day” and “night” guest. No one else can visit at anytime!!! If you like to entertain family and friends, this is not the place for you. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Salty Lure Summer 2021

My family and I spent a week at the Salty Lure. The property was very clean and accommodating. The neighborhood was great and property was within walking distance to the beach. We were able to find many things to do in the area. Cathy made some great recommendations. Check in was easy and communication from Cathy was very helpful. We had a wonderful family vacation.

Great place to stay

My family had a great time here. Great location, short walk to a few beaches, or just drive there with the provided parking pass - very convenient! Very clean, well organized home, with some nice restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely rent again.

I have been in contact with the owner and she has not responded.

I'm soooo disappointed with my stay at the Salty Lure! In all my years of renting beach houses I have never not received my damage deposit back. The owner stated that a huge gouge was made in the flooring, three kitchen chairs were stained and that ALL the felt pads on the kitchen chairs were ruined. I have lived in my own home for 40 years raising children, numerous dogs and now visiting grandchildren and hosted large parties and NEVER done the damage that she says I did to her home in six days!! She's saying I knew about the gouge after I wrote back that it must have happened with the HUGE recliner when it was turned around to watch TV. I admitted we brought out one kitchen chair to the back porch because she only has six chairs inside & outside to eat when there's 7 people!! The only thing I wasn't forthcoming about was we had a child under two that I didn't include with our party. Obviously she has nosy neighbors that actually must have counted us and told her. I told the owner while we were there how VERY hot it was in the house and I was told to close all the shades & windows during the day - what's the point of being in a beach house in the dark? Additionally, it was suggested to leave the doors open at night! Is that safe? I don't know the neighborhood! The house was so hot that the refrigerator wasn't keeping thing cold and popsicles were melting in the freezer! And we ran out of hot water. The beds had plastic covers on the mattresses which wasn't great in the heat. I have never rented where mattress pads aren't on beds. The only positive review is that the house was clean and it was a nice walk to the beach.

Our stay at The Salty Lure was all we expected and more! The Beach house was clean and very well equipped, having everything we needed. The deck and yard allowed for visiting with friends and family. The owner, Cathy, was very available and responsive to anything we needed. I would highly recommend a stay at The Salty Lure!

Sun and Fun at Salty Lure

I have never rented a property online before. It was a great experience. We got what we saw in the pictures and descriptions! Salty Lure is so cute, love the size, set up, proximity to beach and shopping. Especially love the nautical theme. The two porches were a favorite as well as the outside shower. Everything promised was delivered. My family and I would totally recommend a stay at Salty Lure and hope to visit again ourselves! Communication with the owner was fabulous. She made us feel very comfortable!

This was such a great find. The location was perfect with a short walk to the beach and the neighborhood was lovely. The owner was gracious and accommodating and so attentive. And the house was very clean and organized. A fabulous family getaway.

Relaxing vacation

My Husband and 3 kids had a wonderful vacation. The house was so clean and in a great location. Walking distance to the beach and great neighborhood to ride bikes. Can wait to go back.

Cathy, the owner was super responsive and very easy to deal with. She has a lovely home, very clean and within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We had a wonderful week and would recommend staying here! Thank you Cathy, for the opportunity to enjoy your beautiful beach house!
