Beautifully furnished home from home , set in the heart of Pembrokeshire.

This stunning bungalow has been has been newly refurbished to a very high standard set in a quiet cul de sac in Goodwick. A peaceful enclosed garden, with a new decking area in the sunny south facing back. New patio doors in the sunny living room lead to the garden. The kitchen is equipped with all the mod cons , washing machine and dishwasher fridge and freezer .Very high spec bathroom with a whirlpool bath and power shower. Beautiful stylish living room , leather three piece suite, dining table seats 6 ,42 inch screen tv, blue ray DVD player, , cd player , electric fire in wood surround. Two light and spacious bedrooms, one south facing double with a king size bed, brand new firm memory foam mattress as of Oct 2024 . At the front a large twin room, the third bedroom is currently set out as a sunny office area where you can have some quiet time to read a book from our extensive bookshelf or maybe write a postcard. You may even want to catch up on some emails , we have free wi-fi fast speed internet access , which works well throughout the house. There are plenty of electricity plugs in each room for plugging in and charging electrical equipment . There is also a small selection of family DVDs for the times you might fancy a cosy day in . The back looks on to a beautiful woodland , so you are not looked upon by anyone in your living room or garden or patio. It is beautifully quiet peaceful and relaxing . Garden furniture , washing line , parasol and barbecue also supplied.

Beautiful place to stay everything you would need. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen perfect. Plenty of places to see near by with a car. My family live in Fishguard so we had a fabulous catch up. Would definitely stay again.

Meriel is simply one of the loveliest hosts you could ever meet. She is extremely helpful and kind. Always answers very promptly - even when she is at work! Nothing is too much trouble. I was feeling less than100% - flu-ish symptoms - and she very kindly offered to drop off some Lemsip.The house is spotless, warm, comfortable and contains everything one needs. The decking is a wonderful bonus if, like me you enjoy watching birds and squirrels visiting from the woods at the bottom of the garden. It's South facing so one can enjoy the sunrise and sunset.

You are also extremely kind and your chocolates at Christmas were very much appreciated . I know that when you leave the Squirrels and the birds miss you keeping their feeding station so well filled .

Overall we found this to be a very nice property in a quiet area. Well equipped kitchen. What we were not happy with was the bedding, which we made the owner aware of. The duvet was very thin and we were very cold the first night. There was no bedding to put on top of it such as a blanket. However by keeping heating on low the following night we resolved this issue and so when owner offered to buy another duvet the following day we stated we were not worried with this as were using the heating. However the main concern I had stated to the owner was that the sheet had what looked like blood stains on it. The owners response to this was not what I would have expected. Owner stated she could try to get another sheet. We heard nothing for 2 days from the owner, who then asked if I still wanted another sheet to which I replied yes please. Again got no contact from owner and no clean sheet. I would have expected a clean and hygienic sheet would be available and provided to us immediately and it was not.

Great property! Well equipped large kitchen, good sized rooms all round. Fantastic, private, huge decking area. Easy to park right outside bungalow. We prefer to use public transport when we're on holiday so we can both have a drink, so used both train and buses to visit different places. Only realised on our last bus journey that we could ask the driver to stop round the corner from the property, which would've saved us a few, tired struggles back!

Relaxing stay

Wonderful stay, clean property, wifi was great, kitchen well equiped. Plenty of storage. Home from home comfort. Owner was brillant at responding to emails with queries. Will definitely re-book.Local Fish and Chip really delicious and there is a local tesco express which is well stocked.We did plenty of hikes from St Davids and it was lovely to come home in evening and have a soak in the bathtub.

Really lovely home in a quiet location, close to Goodwick and Fishguard which are both very quaint and worth a visit. House was clean and welcoming, perfect size for us and our two teenagers.Meriel was lovely and very responsive to any questions. We also spoke to the neighbours next door who were also very friendly. Lots of places to visit close by and further afield if you don’t mind a drive. Would thoroughly recommend and would definitely book again.

Lovely Summer Holiday

A clean and spacious bungalow with a very pleasant decking area. Quiet street and private. Very convenient to explore north Pembrokeshire. Owners were very helpful and everything there to have a family break. Ideal for families.

Great Holiday Let

We stayed here in May 2024 and can highly recommend. The bungalow was very clean and the check-in process is easy. Lovely outside eating area, unfortunately the weather wasn't quite warm enough for us to use but would be a great eating space. Everything you need and a great location to visit lots of different places.

Wonderful Bungalow.

This was exactly what we were looking for a nice bungalow in a quiet neighborhood closee but nor too close to everything.Goodwick/Fishguard is a friendly place with lots of walking and hiking with all the nesecities and only 30min from Haverfordwest for any other items and a great location for exploving Pembrookshire and West Wales.Meriel is a very helpful and responsive host and special mention to Jean and Bob the neibours for a lovely evening.

Amazing stay
