This 30’ diameter Yurt is a stunning space to rejuvenate and be in nature.
You will hear the sound of the waterfall across, and take long walks on the 120 acre property.
Vibrant nature with turkey and deer visitors, hummingbirds and hawks, foxes and eagles, you will be in good company!
The Yurt sleeps 4, one queen size bed and 2 twin size bed plus sofa pull outs, that are twins .
It is one open space with a large circular skylight in the center of the ceiling that floods the space with light and 4 glass windows, the bathroom is a room inside the yurt with a shower, sink and toilet.
The Yurt has its own well and it located on 120 acres that you are welcome to hike.
The circular shape is very comforting, it makes you feel hugged.
The ceiling in the center is 14’ high.
Grill ,small fridge under counter, large toaster oven and 3 cooking plates, plus more induction cooking plates are hanging on the wall. You can use them anywhere , coffee maker, tea water heater, spices, cookware, silverware, table ware… grill, all you could possibly need is available to you.
This Yurt is a tent-like circular structure built out of wood beams and wall lattice covered with fabric and isolation, the floor is engineered wood, and there are 5 wall panels that are built out of wood for windows and entrance door. Please don’t book this place if you are afraid of animals. you are in nature and there are many little insects, spiders, ants and mice, and rarely but possible a black snake ( not poisonous and shy)…., it’s natural you’re in a tent.There are deer turkey, foxes and eagles ...
So if You have an issue with mice spiders ants and so on I will not give you a refund, but I’m happy to help just reach out to me. thank you for understanding.
Snow and yurt : the yurt heats up very nice
I have the driveway snowplowed, but that does not mean it's always safe.
Be prepared if there is a snowstorm or ice storm that you have to park your car at the main rd and walk down the driveway, its about a 5 min walk. if you decide to drive down anyway and get stuck, it will cost about $350 to get you out.
There is a medicine wheel out in front of the lawn and a fire pit.
you are close to New Paltz and Kingston 10 to 15 min, Woodstock 30min Rhinebeck 30 min. The best of both worlds
Please know that the water fall and all the water seen on the pictures have more or less water depending on season, if there is a drought there will be no water in the streams. Please collect your wood for the fire pit in the Forrest or bring it , Because of the intense woodburning amount I cannot longer provide the outside which I do provide it would bricks for the wood burning oven inside. Please only use the inside and not for the outside fire pit thank you
