Upon arrival, the house smelt like a wet soggy dog had spent time there. Rugs had pup hair and we had to go out and buy a candle room spray to get rid of the strong odor. House was cute, good part of town. Probably would be great for hosting kids.

We had a wonderful stay here. 5 nights, 2 small children and 4 adults. The property was perfect for kids. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a plus.

Very accommodating, especially for our annual guys trip, where 5 men appreciate having their own space, but also like have place to get together for happy hour. Beds comfortable, communication was instantaneous, and everything was provided as marketed.Very nice property in safe area.

The backyard is the highlight of this property but unfortunately no outdoor dining set and the host was extremely attentive when we needed to reach him regarding some house keeping issues and wifi. I prefer home stays vs hotel stays because we use the kitchen. However, this kitchen was not cooking friendly - cookware seemed to be whatever the owner didn't want/need, lots of drawers filled with crumbs, old pots/pans, random plastic cups or paper products. I felt I needed to rewash anything we used, especially utensils. If you're just getting take out or always eating out, this house will do. Beds were comfortable, house had AC.

Backyard zen

We enjoyed our stay here! The backyard was very zen like for us. The neighbors tree provided the perfect shade for a morning sit on the back patio. Lots of different birds for your enjoyment too! We even found some 4 leaf clovers in the grass :)The home was the perfect spot for our visit.

My family unexpectedly travelled all night the day of our arrival. We zombied around Portland until the host was able to get us into the home. He was very kind and managed to get us in 30 minutes early even though he had guests checking out that morning.The house was less amazing. I think it was probably pretty nice once. Now, it smells like dog pee, is only surface cleaned, and has broken items. There was dirt and cob webs in the corners of the hard floors like they only mop where people actually walk. The counters were wiped down but the counters behind the sinks had a thick layer of dust and there is soap scum in the tub. It just wasn't a place that left you feeling clean after being in it for long. The listing says there are adjustable beds. One of them didn't work. It looked like the cord for it had been destroyed by a vacuum. The listing is also wrong about the internet. We had to search around for the correct SSID and password. We did find it on a router in the tv room. Also, the tv in the bedroom didn't have any signal so make sure you bring your own firestick or way to watch tv if you like to watch before bed.The real big issue was we only had 6 total towels for 6 people. There were no towels for the hot tub. No wash cloths. We couldn't wash the 6 we had because the dryer would run but never got warm so it couldn't dry anything. We ended up having to buy our own. Definitely not something we were expecting from a stocked home.

Visit Friends in Portland

This is a very nice house with many nice upgrades. The backyard and front yards are nice and the bed was comfy. The hot tub was cloudy the entire week we were there, so we didnā€™t really use it which was sad. The welcoming snacks and drinks were a very nice touch and very much appreciated.

Comfortable stay in lovely spot near Portland

This house was perfect for our stay; located in a quiet neighborhood within easy driving distance to many Portland attractions. The fully equipped kitchen was a joy to use. Back yard was large and well maintained. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the massage chair and the hot tub! My one concern was about the cloudiness of the hot tub water. When I relayed my concern to our host, he was responsive and sent someone over to work on it. Afterwards, the water was less cloudy. Sitting in the hot tub after a long day of outings was delightful.

Holiday House

We booked this property to have a family Thanksgiving dinner. The house worked out great! Quiet neighborhood, easy access to I-5, and layout of house was great. Big back yard was utilized for yard games and getting out of the way of the cooks in the kitchen. Quick, easy communication with host!

Perfect place for avid hikers

We booked this house mainly because it came with a massage chair and hot tub. So we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and amazing the house was. My parents were joining my small hiking group to complete a 12mile hike to Tunnel Falls (which was only 45mins away). My parents are older and not as spry as they used to be - so we were concerned on how their recovery would go. The hot tub did miracles for my dadā€™s foot and us ā€œyounginsā€ took full advantage of the massage chair and percussion massager. The house was the centrally located to Restaurants and Walmart (all within a 5min drive), so our recovery day was spent exactly how we wanted it.10/10 we will definitely book again!!

Beautiful home!

We enjoyed the spacious house and extras (hot tub & massage chair) very much. The beds were very comfortable and the house was quiet so we slept well. The kitchen trash smelled strongly of cigarettes even though it had a new bag and no trash in it - curious. And our time was interrupted by road work on ours and neighboring streets. But all in all, it was well worth our stay.
