This 3-bed, 2.5-bath retreat is a great home for up to 6 guests to enjoy and is just a few short blocks from restaurants, shops, Neptune Park Fun Zone, and, of course, the Atlantic Ocean. Nestled into St. Simons Island Village, this cottage offers up a multi-level escape from the daily routine where you can savor the sights, enjoy nearby fun, and make the most of every island moment!

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $30/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (6 persons). Spring break groups and events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, receptions, etc., are not permitted.

Summer Hour Retreat hosts an impressive front porch and two balconies to be enjoyed by those visitors who value time in the fresh air with a view too. New in 2025 is a welcoming firepit and patio space! The coastal paneling of the exterior and decorative railings to match sit in lovely contrast to the surrounding lush foliage and towering palm trees. The porch provides a wonderful view when you're settled into comfortable patio furniture, sipping a cup of coffee, and enjoying your day to the fullest. Please note that the beach is accessible only during low to mid tides.
Interior Amenities
Stepping through the front door, those who book A Summer Hour Retreat will find a home away from home dedicated to light, space, and island-inspired style waiting to greet them. The living room of Summer Hour Retreat is found on the main floor and includes a collection of large windows and glass doors leading out to the front porch, providing ample natural light during the daytime hours. Two plush sofas are settled on the sleek hardwood flooring and in front of a large flat-screen television for added entertainment value.

The fully-stocked kitchen takes a coastal modern approach to design and includes a collection of high-end stainless steel appliances paired with sleek wood countertops and glass-front cabinetry. When it's time to dine, guests can pick and choose between one of two dining spaces with seating for 10 guests. The dining table offers seating for 6, while the second den offers seating for 4 at the breakfast table.

Bedrooms in the home are situated on the upper level. When it's time to rest up for a day of fun ahead, the spacious primary bedroom in this property features a king bed and a full bath complete with dual shower heads and an oversized shower. This room also provides access to a private balcony with coastal views. Two guest bedrooms with a shared hall bathroom, featuring a King bed (with a private balcony), and the other bedroom featuring two twin beds, are spacious and comfortable. In the garage area, guests will have access to a great game space including a ping pong table, music, a Coca-Cola bottle cap card table, and corn hole.
