MOUNTAIN BIKE/SKI/SNOWMOBILE

The Guest House vacation rental is located just 1.5 miles North of the East Burke Village and has access to mountain biking on the Kingdom Trails via the "New School Trail" and direct snowmobile trail access to VAST. We are a short drive to Burke Mountain. This house will comfortably sleep 8-10 people. There is a beautiful outdoor space to grill, sit and enjoy morning coffee on the deck or spend evenings at the fire pit. We offer a secure bike storage area with a maintenance/repair set up as well as a bike wash area. There is plenty of parking and parking a trailer is no problem for snow mobile trailers.

Perfect place to stay!

We use rentals by owners often and this was by far one of the best. They’ve thought of every detail. It was clean and well stocked. With 2 main floor bedrooms, each with an en suite and an upstairs area with 4 twins and another bathroom, it was perfect for our 2 families! Owners were very friendly and helpful.

Great location to mountain bike Kingdom Trails

It was a great property that was really well maintained. It was amazing to be able to bike right from the house on the trails into town. It was a well stocked kitchen and very clean. The wifi was a little spotty, but could be just the area. The owners were very attentive and told us everything we needed to know. I would definitely stay there again.

All the Comforts of Home!

I traveled to East Burke with my elderly mom and sister, to visit our nephew. This property was perfect! Location A+. The house was immaculate. It was very roomy, allowing us all a private bedroom and bath. The layout of the house was helpful for my Mom on a walker. The owners have the kitchen stocked with anything you may need. The side deck allowed privacy while being outside and the firepit was a plus-although we didn't use it, nice to to relax outdoors. I will definitely be back & recommend this comfy property to others. Would stay again!

Clean and comfortable home with everything our family of four (incl. two teens) would want. Fully stocked kitchen, multiple spaces to spread out, and great basement for bike storage. Kingdom Trails access right from the backyard. Location was minutes away from village of East Burke and also easy drive to Lyndonville or St. Johnsbury. Coordination with owners was quick and easy. One thing to note is that there are two other rentals right on the same property - another house right next door, and a large barn out back. Everything was absolutely quiet and no issues during our stay, but if having others close would bother you, just something to be aware of. Would stay here again!

Perfect Basecamp for a Mountian Biking Getaway

This house in East Burke is hands-down one of the best VRBO stays we’ve had—especially if you’re planning a mountain biking weekend. The setup is perfect for riders: there’s a bike stand in the basement complete with Park Tools, plus a dedicated bike wash station outside. It’s clear the owner really understands what mountain bikers need.The house itself is extremely clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen has every utensil and tool you could want, making cooking after a long day on the trails a breeze. The little details really set this place apart—QR codes to easily connect to Wi-Fi, clear instructions for everything, and plenty of space to relax and unwind.One of our favorite spots was the fire pit out back. It’s the perfect place to relax in the evening with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Whether you’re here to ride, relax, or both, this house has everything you need.We’ll definitely be coming back!

Made For Mountain Bike Adventures

Great little house with plenty of space for 6-8 people. House was fully stocked with everything you need. The basement access with bike storage and laundry were a great bonus. As for location, it’s halfway between Moose Haven and the town of East Burke, with the New School trail running right behind the house.

Great place and location

I enjoyed this place so much that I returned again this year with a different group. The location is great and we appreciate having all of the storage space in the basement. I'd definitely return again.

This was our favorite place of all the properties we have rented in the NEK! Well-equipped for our stay, super clean, and in a great location with easy access to town and the trails. I will totally stay here again.

Great place to access MTB and gravel in the NEK

Very comfortable, well appointed house with easy access to the KT trails and local gravel roads. East place to stay with kids, plenty of lawn to run around on! We have stayed here before and will continue to do so!

Fall getaway weekend

We had a wonderful time here. The beds are comfortable, the kids have their own space upstairs and there are plenty of showers. The basement is large and clean and has an excellent area for working on and storing bikes. The proximity to New School is great. We could easily get into Burke on the trails for lunch or access them for a day of riding. The kitchen is well stocked, making it easy to cook most of your meals at the house. Great place to stay!!

Great Getaway at Kingdom Trails

This property was a dream. It came equipped with anything and everything you need and forgot you needed. The location was perfection - quiet, yet close to town, with easy access to the kingdom trails. We truly enjoyed staying at this home abs would strongly encourage others to enjoy this home as well!

Stellar property and hosts in the NEK

The stellar property is brand new, has everything you need to enjoy your time in the NEK and even has trail access right out the back door to New School. These are the most professional hosts I have ever encountered in the 15 years I have used VRBO or others.

Great place and location

This was a perfect location for our group of mountain bikers. We were in Kingdom Trails during a somewhat rainy period, so having the bike washing station and the basement storage were key. The place was clean and in good condition. I'd definitely come back!

Perfect Burke House

Cannot say enough about the property. Home and grounds were spotless, inside was new and clean, and the fire pit and bike accommodations made it all the better. Close to town and easy to jump on great trails right from the house.

Ride-in, ride-out house in the heart of the Kingdom Trails

The guest house was better than expected, very well appointed. We had everything we needed for our 3 day mountain bike getaway. There's a trail right behind the house that leads to the Moose Haven trails system. We enjoyed the backyard firepit and the owners even had local firewood for their guest. The inside looked brand new and clean with a comfortable living area and open concept to the kitchen. Spacious, clean and dry bike storage in the basement with a professional set of tools. We also noticed some cornhole boards but didn't have a chance to use them... next time.

Perfect Property!

We booked this place as soon as we saw the listing for our 9 nights in the NEK, and we were not disappointed. It is a perfect location for getting on the trails. We rode, walked, and ran right from the house on the beautiful trail system. It's a short drive to town and 15 minutes to beautiful Lake Willoughby. The house is well appointed and we made use of all the amenities. We do a lot of cooking & grilling and the house had everything we needed. Everyone was impressed with the quality of the beds and having separate bathrooms was important for everyone during COVID. We thoroughly enjoyed the side porch and fire pit. They really thought of everything. I highly recommend this home and we would definitely stay here again.

Pristine Country House

My family and I had a wonderful stay at The Guest House. The rooms were nicely appointed and extremely clean. The owners provided plenty of supplies for our visit. Indoor and outdoor bike maintenance accessories were available and much appreciated. Having a bike trail connect directly to the property was great. We enjoyed the beautiful property and the outdoor deck. We would definitely stay here again.
