Located between Amboise and Chenonceau towers, in a site of 36 hectares of park and private forest, this sumptuous private residence of Touraine neo-Gothic style was the residence of General de Gaulles and the theater of a political plot that Balzac resumed in his novel " A dark affair.
The outbuildings of the Castle have been renovated to offer you the greatest comfort in a house of 250 m2 style "country chic". The castle and the park are private and can not be visited.

250m2 4 large rooms with beds 160 and 180 wide (1 accessible to disabled people, 1 special room for children (4 to 8 beds) and a baby bed 4 large bathrooms with showers and or bathtubs , library lounge, fully equipped kitchen, terrace private garden barbecue WIFI TV DVD

the castle and its park and the pool are private access is only for the guest rooms

18 hectares of wood for the walk

As an option, we can offer you every morning to drop you off in the house a basket consisting of fresh bread and pastries, you will have available on your arrival, coffee, tea, chocolate powder, cereals and jam. Price of the option to be reserved in advance (minimum 5 days) and to be paid at the beginning of the stay 5 euros / person (3 days minimum)

Marie was a fantastic host and the house was perfect for our stay in the Loire valley. We were two families traveling together with young adults and teenagers and we had plenty of room and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking in with our the dining options not far away. The house is central to many great places and we really enjoyed visiting Amboise. We also enjoyed our visit to the castle and to see the extensive renovations that have been done to the Chateau. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

What a magnificent property! Too many luxuries to count. The decor is quintessential French but the attention to detail in the decor is breathtaking. We are taking some ideas back to our own homes. We would recommend any group of 8 or more visiting the Loire Valley to stay here. Our host is a striking and caring person who I feel truly wants her guests to get the most from the property. The grounds are lush and the the access to the walking trail to Azay-sur-Cher was a complete surprise and delght. I only wish we had a few more days here. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. We had 12 adults and enjoyed wonderful time around the large farm table. As well as lively family conversations in the large Salon. Marie was even kind enough to put up a full moon for us during our stay! If one could see the moon over hef castle one may never wish to leave. If you do not stay here you are really missing a treat!

An absolute treat!

The property was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with so many lovely touches that made our stay there truly special, including modern kitchen appliances. Marie and her husband have done an exquisite job restoring the castle and its surrounds. The beautiful cookbook Marie produced is the perfect souvenir, complete with photos and history, and delicious-looking recipes we can't wait to try. Perfect venue for a girls' trip, couples retreat, or family vacation. We will be back!

Wonderful stay in the Loire

We had an amazing 3 day stay in the Loire, made so much better because of our accommodation in this beautiful house on the grounds of Chateau Beauvais. The house was just as described, and the six of us were made to feel perfectly comfortable in the exquisitely furnished spacious rooms and living areas. It was a real treat to stay there. Lovely grounds to walk around and yet conveniently located for us to explore many of the great chateaux and towns of the region. Thank you Marie Cecile for welcoming us to your beautiful home and Corinne for being so helpful and delivering us delicious breakfast pastries each morning with such a friendly smile!

Wunderbares traumhaftes Urlaubsdomizil

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Orangerie sehr genossen. Tolle große Zimmer mit sehr schönen und neuwertigen Bädern, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Der Standort ist perfekt, um die umliegenden Schlösser zu besichtigen. Toller Ausblick auf das Château de Beauvais und ein traumhafter Park um spazieren zu gehen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr nett und hatte tolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und empfehlen das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter! Vielen Dank Madame Melano!😊

Un excellent séjour dans une maison très accueillante

Nous avons tous été ravis de séjourner dans cette maison , parfaite pour une vacance de visite des magnifiques chateaux des environs et pour des moments de relax à la maison. Beautiful stay at this Loire Valley Gite L’Orangerie

Our family of 5 had a superb stay at this beautiful Gite! We appreciated how clean, well appointed and beautifully decorated it was. The rooms were large, the beds were comfy and the linens and towels were of superior quality. We purchased a full breakfast and loved waking up to a wonderful array of goodies our first morning. The grounds are equally lovely and very tranquil after our long days of sightseeing in charming nearby towns like Amboise and Annecy. We found the location ideal, and all in all felt this was a jewel of a vacation experience.

Wonderful stay at an incredibly beautiful property

The gite at Chateau du Beauvais was amazing. The location was easily accessible to both Amboise and Tours. Communication was outstanding. We also had the option of having fresh pastries delivered every morning. The gite is well equipped and very comfortable. Highly recommend staying here!!!

Beutiful house near chateau

It' ckean and well managed house located side by side of Chateau. You can walk through the forest earl morning and watch milky way and stars at night. Just 20 minutes away from downtown and Castle where Reonardo da Vinch is resting forever.

Wonderful location, opulent gite

Loved the location with its brilliant view of the chateau and easy access to pretty much everything between Tours and Blois. Loads of space and a great place to stay with a large group of friends or family. The separate en-suite and air con for the main upstairs rooms were very welcome. Would have welcomed the opportunity to be shown round the chateau we overlooked but otherwise 10/10.

Stay near Tours.

Home was as featured however the ground level does not have air conditioning which is a problem for the bedroom on that level. All other bedrooms are one level up and fully air conditioned. We found restaurants within 15-20 minutes drive however not much is open on Sunday or for dinner prior to 7pm. We did very much enjoy our stay and the many attractions in and near Tours.

Perfect countryside experience

The guest house is as beautiful and the photos show. It is spacious and comfortable and wonderfully decorated. The kitchen has two fridges and more than enough dishes for a large group. The homeowners were very helpful and very quick to reply to any questions. We stayed during the heat wave and the air conditioning was greatly appreciated. In all, it was perfect.

Beautiful peaceful perfection

Loved the area and the property. The Gite was very well maintained, very clean and the bedroom accommodations ample and comfortable. We would return exactly to the same place and would not hesitate to rebook. Cannot say enough good things

Notre séjour dans cette belle maison avec vue sur le château a été très agréable. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires. L'espace, le confort, l'aménagement des lieux sont parfaits. Nous, (groupe de 4 couples), avons apprécié tout particulièrement les chambres spacieuses, parfaitement décorées et leur salle de bains individuelle. Une vie de château !!!!!!

Perfection

Château de Beauvais is absolute poetry. Our hosts Marie and Stephan were so gracious and kind. The accommodations are amazingly appointed, spacious and all necessities are thoroughly modern and grand. I cannot express enough how wonderful this experience was.
