River's End is an immaculate, newly decorated home fresh to the vacation rental market. The vast forested area across the river provides plenty of unspoiled lands for wildlife to roam, while coastal birds fly by the deck. You will have a bird's eye view with nothing between you and the vista overlooking the beautiful Navarro River as it flows to the Pacific Ocean. A virtual 3-D tour is available.

All new furnishings welcome you as you enter River's End. Relax on the couch in a vaulted ceiling, open concept living space with unending mountain, river, and ocean views. There are three tastefully decorated bedrooms, (all queens) each with that same incredible view, plus 2 full baths. The large, well-stocked kitchen offers an open space to prepare meals, while the dining area will always include fresh flowers on the table to create the perfect setting for your gourmet creations or take-out. Don’t feel like cooking? Dine in one of the five amazing restaurants all within a 10-minute drive. Want a bit of outdoor adventure? Kayak rentals are less than two miles away. Feel like beachcombing? Van Damme State Park or Navarro Beach is less than a 9-minute drive away. If Golf is your thing, Little River Golf Course is only a 6 miles distance. For some quick shopping, the Albion River store is a 5-minute drive away and provides a deli, grocery store, gas, and snacks. And the ever-popular historic Mendocino village is just 15 minutes away.

At the end of each day relax with your favorite beverage on the deck or spa while watching the sunlight dance off the river as it winds it's way to the sea. Partake of the comforting joy that settles in as you watch the changing colors as the sun slowly sinks into the Pacific. In the morning, enjoy coffee, or tea as you take in the views, breathe in the fresh sea air, and plan for the day's adventures. Children and dogs are welcome at Rivers End. Enjoy all that the magical Mendocino coast has to offer. This home truly gives you the vacation you've been dreaming of...

We had a great stay. The view is gorgeous and I love the close proximity to so many state parks, beaches and hiking trails. The house was clean and kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals.

The view is amazing. The house has everything you need. We cooked every day looking out at the view. The hot tub was clean and hot and we were only 15 minutes from the town of Mendocino.

Reviewer Comments: We love the place and its situation overlooking the Navarro estuary.The problems were in the kitchen. A number of the cooking pans were filthy - especially the frying pans. Also, the waste disposal in the sink did not seem to be working well, and there is a constant smell coming from it.

the view was fantastic. it was easy to access the property. however, bring your shampoo, ( personal items) and cooking items( oil,..) they put little bit of soap, a little bit of dish soap,..Also the pillows smelled and don’t think they washed it. I told the management agency and they didn’t seem to care!

A relaxing Thanksgiving week

As a couple we loved visiting the Mendocino Coast frequently 30-some years ago, and it was such a joy to return with our grown sons and dog to this beautiful spot for a few days. The house was immaculate and made welcoming for the dog with a toy and treats. The view was gorgeous, and I watched a different sunrise show over the ocean every day, sometimes with fog rolling in and out. Sunsets too. The house is conveniently located but also off the beaten path. Perfect.

This property has an amazing 5 star view. From the house or the deck, the everchanging coast and river are calming eye candy. There is plenty of opportunity to see birds and wildlife.The house itself is on the second floor with parking on the main level and exterior wood/wood-like stairs in front and back. This is a problem for bringing dogs outside to do their business and older folks like us.The house catches heavenly breezes and we didn’t need any a/c.There are electric shades in the living room and blinds in other rooms. The furniture is fine. The kitchen supplies are sparse and the tools/plates are mid-range and not really organized nor very clean making the kitchen usable but not 5 star. The bathrooms have bathtub/shower combos are dated but in good shape.Overall, the location and view are a solid five, the home itself knocked it down to a four.
