Magical views

The views are just amazing from the villa. There are different levels to the villa and from each the views get better as you go higher. Even in the dark the lights from Salobreña give a magical feel. The Villa is spacious both inside and out, though we did spend most of the time outside only to retreat to the cool AC rooms when it got too hot outside. There are lots of seating and sunbeds available so you can either sit out in the sun or seek shade if too hot.The villa is well equipped, there are instructions and you tube videos available to assist you with how to operate them. Communication with the Grandes Villas team was great, they were very responsive and answered our questions with no delay so thanks for your help and advice.We spent a very enjoyable 2 weeks at the villa and recommend it with out any hesitation.

Villa Romero biedt een perfecte mix van luxe, rust, en natuur. Het vakantiehuis ligt in een idyllische omgeving met adembenemend zeezicht en omringd door groene natuur. Het ruime interieur is stijlvol ingericht en biedt alle moderne gemakken, zoals een volledig uitgeruste keuken en comfortabele slaapkamers. De grote ramen laten veel natuurlijk licht binnen en geven uitzicht op de schitterende omgeving. Buiten is er een prachtig terras met een privézwembad, waar je kunt ontspannen en genieten van het uitzicht op zee. De gastvrijheid van de eigenaar en de aandacht voor detail maakten ons verblijf hier onvergetelijk.

Wonderful stay with magnificent views

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay here. All facilities good although we felt that the bathrooms were a little tired and could benefit from an update. Cracked tiles and faulty shower heads. Apart from that everything was lovely. The house is very spacious and the pool area with its magnificent views were wonderful and well equipped with sun beds and different seating areas. Also lovely planting around the seating areas just added to a truly lovely holiday. Thank you to all. We would recommend this villa for a wonderful family or friends stay.

Merveilleux séjour dans cette maison magnifique.

L’équipe des grandes villas est très professionnelle, l’accueil, la propreté des lieux, les indications, tout était parfait. La maison est encore plus belle que sur les photos, tous les équipements de confort sont présents. Nous avons passé en famille des vacances de rêve, merci.

Schöne Villa und mega Aussicht

Tolle Villa, sehr grosse Zimmer, mega Aussicht und grosser Pool, grosse Terrasse mit Lounge und 2. Terrasse mit Esstisch, 2 Grills, viele Liegen und Sonnenschirme, Bar im Aussenbereich, grosser Parkplatz für 3 Autos, Früchtebäume. Insgesamt eine ganz tolle Villa. Verbesserungsvorschläge: Mückennetze, Aussendusche und überdeckter Carport. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Breathtakingly Beautiful

Everything about this villa is awesome. The views are amazing. The layout of the villa is super cozy and comfortable. The master bedroom and the view from the balcony is very special. Everything we needed was available. Had a lovely time. Just a small improvement we would recommend is to address the power consumption/load issue which kept tripping the main power off. Its very dangerous especially for families with kids to have a black out when its dark. Maybe install backup/battery emergency lighting to provide some visibility. Other than that we absolutely loved our stay at this villa. Would recommend this place to everyone and wont think twice about staying again!

Skønt feriehus

Et skønt feriehus som har den smukkeste udsigt - især solopgangen. Vi fik en god velkomst med en grundig gennemgang af huset og ligeledes, da vi skulle lukke huset ned. Grandes Villas var meget behjælpelige, da vi havde brug for lægehjælp og stod til rådighed - TAK! Vi vil varmt anbefale andre dette feriehus, hvor man kan få poolen opvarmet, hvor der også er badehåndklæder klar, og hvor man kan nyde ferien uden bekymringer.

Wonderful spacious property.

This house offers ample space and great privacy whilst it is situated amongst other villas. The view is lovely, the pool area with different seating options is great. Really a place to relax and unwind. We were with six adults and all of us would certainly like to return.

A quiet retreat

2 weeks of mostly peace an quiet, mountains in the distance, the sea on the right. Idyllic. There was a bit of construction work going on, but I suppose it has to be done sometime. The villa was pure luxury..and nothing was to much for our rep. Even as far as organising a wheelchair for me due to a recent flare up of arthritis. We didnt want to come home. The views were breathtaking.

Stunning views!

Just spent the week at this stunning villa, six adults. The villa is very roomy and has three bathrooms, which is unusual with a three bedroom property. The outside space is not only spacious, but has the most stunning views, which you will never tire of. Carlos met us at the villa and was most helpful, especially recommending us to flamenco. The beds are very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows if you needed more. The whole house is well equipped, especially the kitchen and there are choices of where to sit and eat. Nerja is about a 30 min drive and Motril is very close where we used the supermarket and ate wonderful tapas, plus Motril has the most amazing ice cream parlour. Would really recommend this villa and we can't wait to go back again for another wonderful week! You definitely need a vehicle as you drive up about two miles up the mountain, but good roads, just windy, so not good for those who want to walk from their villa to a restaurant or bar and if going to the old town of Salobrena where the castle is, leave your car and walk up as the roads are very small. When at the top the views are stunning! The villa was lovely and clean and the staff most helpful, book today! Carol Hope

A wonderful villa with spectacular views

We are a family of 6 who were lucky enough to stay here for one sun-drenched week. The villa is absolutely beautiful, very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Probably the only thing it lacked was a full length mirror - fairly essential for teenagers. We never tired of the amazing views and had a lot of fun in the very well maintained pool. There are different areas to sit, so plenty of choice if you want sun or shade, feeling sociable or wanting a bit of quiet time (my husband and I loved our beautiful terrace by our master bedroom). My son decided he’d like to visit a gym, I called Grandes Villas and Johannes immediately gave us the info we needed, he was so helpful. A word of warning for those arriving late on a Saturday - the villa is quite a way up the hillside, and sat navs can’t always find it. Also you will need to purchase food as there are no shops open late and supermarkets are closed on sundays. You will definitely need a car as the town and beach are too far to walk. I would not hesitate in recommending this gorgeous villa to anyone looking for a spacious elegant place to enjoy stunning views of the coast, town and Sierra Nevada mountains. Would love to come back!

Wonderful villa for a family holiday.

The villa has loads of space. If you want to stay in the sun or have shade, you can. Kitchen is spacious and well equipped (often a weak spot in previous experience). Two gas BBQs. Kids loved the pool. Salobreña is friendly and cheap to eat out in. (Portions are massive so share!). Most places give you a tapa with a drink. It is a Spanish holiday area, do not expect the waiter to speak English. But the waiters and supermarket staff really make you feel welcome and help you (I could get them to gut and scale fish for me). Finally, Carlos is wonderful! Just meeting him you know you have a contact for emergencies. (We only needed some gas for the BBQ and it was sorted in 2 hours). Very highly recommended 👍👍👍

Beautiful view

The villa is well equipped and clean. We had a great time especially around the pool where we enjoyed sun, water and the amazing views. The kitchen and barbecue worked fine and 3 fridges, one by the pool, is an example on the ambition.

Beautiful villa with amazing views and terraces!

Greeted upon arrival by the efficient and very helpful Carlos, the villa is just a dream. There is plenty of space - very airy and well equipped, but the overwhelming character is taken from the simply stunning 360 degree vista . From the Sierra Nevada to old town Salobrena to the beach and then the marvellous, azure Mediterranean. The pool is fantastic as is the outdoor furniture and terraces. It really is a wonderful place to holiday , you will never tire of the views! Salobrena itself is such a friendly town and though Granada and Malaga are just an hour away , If you want to feel totally relaxed this is the place to be!

Luxuriöser Urlaub mit fantastischem Ausblick

Tolle Villa mit traumhaftem Ausblick und guter Ausstattung! Toller nachts beleuchteter Pool mit schönem Mobiliar und Poolbar, alles sehr großzügig und viele Sitzgelegenheiten. Sehr sauber und auch der Kontakt war angenehm und unkompliziert. Einzig über eine Klimaanlage könnte man noch nachdenken.. ;) Gerne wieder!
