Comfy and welcoming 2 bedroom 2 bath "Bear Pond" Cabin near Mogollon Rim sleeps 4-6, with gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit, bbq, pond. Pet Friendly fenced back yard. In Bison Ranch cabin community near Mogollon Rim perfect for family with horse back riding, fishing, basketball, tennis and much more. The horseback riding is Ramey Ranch . If you rent one or more of our four cabins , you will receive a 5 % discount on the horseback riding . 7 or more riders will be given a family discount . After renting our cabin let us know I you will be going horseback riding we will contact the owner and secure the discount. Enjoy your homey cabin in the cool mountains. DirecTV/ with free coffee and tea included. Have a bigger group? We also have access to more cozy cabins within walking distance for up to 25 people. Just inquire.
Casa Ramos is offering a dollar off your first House Margarita . This is given via a coupon upon rental of one of our cabins. . The Escape Room in Overgaard is offering a 10% discount to anyone staying in any of our cabins .
Unlike other cabins there is no large security deposit required for your stay.
There are several lakes in the surrounding areas of Heber/Overgaard: Woods Canyon Lake , 20 miles west of the cabin . Willow Springs Lake , 15 miles from the cabin . Black Canyon Lake , 10 miles west of the cabin . Show Lake , 30 miles east of the cabin . The lakes are stocked periodically durning the year . There are several different species of fish in the lakes .

A wonderful get away from the heat of Phoenix. If you like a peaceful place to put your head, this is it. The cabin is comfortable, clean and a place that makes you feel like home. The neighborhood is great to walk your dog and make friends. A place where I have gone several times and hope to come back again. I know you will enjoy your time at Beautiful Bear pond Cabin.

Weekend getaway

The cabin is very clean and has everything you need. My husband and I took my parents here for two nights, we wish we could’ve stayed longer. The cabin was a short walk to the pond and tennis/ basketball courts. We will definitely stay here again.

Great pet cabin

Looking for a place to get out of southern Arizona heat and found the perfect place! We wanted to bring our dog and this property has a fenced in backyard that our puppy loved.The host checked in with us to make sure everything was ok.

Perfect Family Getaway

My family does an annual trip up north to find and cut our Christmas tree and this was the perfect little spot for us to temporarily call home. The cabin was beautiful and well taken care of.. the neighborhood was lovely and welcoming.

Great place in the White Mountains!

This was a great cabin to stay at. The location is in a perfect quiet area. The cabin is decorated to make you feel comfortable and it was very clean. We can’t wait to go back.

Everything was great, the dining room chairs are very loose so we didn’t use them all. Enjoyed our time there, very peaceful and friendly neighbors.

Quiet Neighborhood Tranquil Backyard

Overall the property is nice. The backyard is great, sitting outside near the pond listening to the weeping willow as the wind blows.

Home away from home

This is our second time staying here. We really feel comfortable in the space. Kitchen has everything you may need to cook/bake. Nice fenced-in yard for our pets makes life easy. And of course we always enjoy the fireplace.

Home away from home

The pictures do not do the cabin justice. It is such a cute, cozy place. Beautiful fireplace, comfortable couches, big beds, a kitchen stocked with all the utensils and appliances you might need and an owner who cares and responds quickly to any needs or questions. Highly recommend and would return.

A wonderful cabin!

This was my second visit. It feels like coming home. The cabin was clean and cozy. The logs were in the fire pit, but it was a no burn week. No problem. Very comfortable beds, fluffy towels and nice bed linens. I really don’t cook much, but the kitchen had what I needed. I hope to come back again next year!

We had a fantastic stay at the Beautiful Bear Pond Cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, spacious, and well-maintained the cabin was. The listing is spot on—exactly as described—and exceeded our expectations in every way.The check-in process was smooth and easy, making the whole arrival experience stress-free. The cabin itself is roomy and offers plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. Whether it was enjoying a cozy evening by the fireplace or sitting outside by the fire pit, there was always a perfect spot to unwind.Communication with the property manager was excellent throughout our stay. Not only did they provide all the pertinent details, but they also went above and beyond by sharing information about local attractions, activities, and great places to visit in and around Heber. It really made our experience feel personalized and helped us make the most of our time in the area.The neighborhood is peaceful, friendly, and perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. It was an ideal location to explore everything Heber, Arizona, has to offer.Overall, this cabin is a gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed getaway in a beautiful setting. Great getaway cabin - perfect

This is just what was needed. A very nice, relaxing time away from it all. The front porch was nice to sit on, but the back was even more amazing... The pond was nice and you could hear the water running to it. Inside the cabin was just as relaxing and had everything we needed. We didn't want to leave..... I plan on booking this cabin a lot more in the coming years.... My dream is to retire up there some day.... Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your cabin and the kind hospitality of our booking and making sure we were all taken care of... You don't always find this kind of friendly hospitality anymore. Very grateful...

Very Comfortable and Relaxing Place in the Pines.

We spent three nights at the Bear Pond Cabin, and it was fantastic. The cabin was like staying at a beloved relative’s house. It was outfitted and decorated as you would your own home. The kitchen was spotless and well equipped. The master bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed with awesome sheets that were soft and warm. The big bedroom window had a great view of the trees in their autumn colors. The living room had very comfortable leather furniture and a switch-lighting gas fireplace. The bathrooms were very clean with good, high pressure and instant hot water. There was even a carved bear toilet paper holder, which counters the idea that a bear does you-know-what in the woods. Both the front and rear porches were great places to relax and have morning coffee. The fenced back yard had a fire pit with seating area and a propane grill. The neighborhood is very quiet with mostly senior owner-residents. The community area was well kept with a tennis court, basketball court and a pond full of fish; I caught at least 40 on a fly rod in one afternoon; mostly small blue gill and one bass. For big trout fishing, Silver Creek is just 50 minutes to the east, 5 miles past Show Low. Heber is a small population town located in a quiet, picturesque part of northern Arizona halfway between Payson and Show Low. The area is fairly flat with a lot of pine trees and open meadows. It’s not an exciting party place, but more suited for a relaxing get away from the heat and busy pace of Phoenix or Tucson. We would definitely like to stay here again.

He called the day prior with all of the instructions that we need as well as recommendations for places to eat and things to do with discount codes. Very nice cabin, clean, walking distance to the small pond and tennis/bball court. Everything worked including the washer and dryer:)

We bought this cabin because we enjoy the area. It is wide open with many activities to enjoy. A lot of wildlife in the area. Have seen elk and lots of deer. We enjoy fishing and there are 5 lakes within 30 miles of the cabin .
