Cottage located in the heart of a former farm in the Blayais, surrounded by vineyards, conducive to calm and rest.
Near Blaye and its citadel, Bordeaux, a must-see city, Arcachon, a typical seaside town, famous for its oysters and for its Dune du Pilat, a huge natural sand dune.
Lovers of good wines, you can discover the various Châteaux which this beautiful region abounds with.

The cottage consists of a living / dining room, fitted kitchen, 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6, 1 bathroom + 1 shower room, 2 WCs.

Private terrace and garden: a large dining table, parasol, 1 sofa + 2 armchairs, sun lounger, sun loungers, barbecue, table tennis table.

To share swimming pool + jacuzzi.

Relaxed family holiday

The property was superb, beautifully finished and maintained. It was well stocked with essentials and well laid out with its own terrace and various seating and eating areas outside. The pool and spa were wonderful with plenty of sun beds and pool floats. Lovely grounds with donkeys, ponies and large pond with ducks and swans. On arrival, a friendly and proper introduction showing us how things worked and where everything was. The property, grounds and pool were all very well maintained and clean. Will definitely look to stay here again!

Ideal relaxing holiday

Myself and my family throughly enjoyed our holiday at this location. My son loved the inflatables in the pool, and the hot tub is also available. We mostly used the bbq to cook food or eat out at the village, which is a 5 minute drive or around a 15-minute walk. 18 minutes from the citadel de blaye, 7 minutes from a lake and 13 minutes from a super market. I turned 30 during my visit and the hosts gave me a very large bottle of wine and some cava which i greatly appreciated. We had minor issues during our stay and they were resolved. Hosts were very helpful and polite. Would stay here again.

Great gite with fantastic pool area and grounds

Very comfortable and well equipped gite. The pool was one of the best we've stayed at. Also great to have a hot tub, very relaxing week and would go back.

Entspannter Urlaub

Wir haben 10 sehr schöne Tage in Saint-Christoly-de-Blaye verbracht. Im sehr geräumigen Ferienhaus war alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird (ausreichend Geschirr, Besteck, Spül- und Waschmaschine...), sogar ein Gasgrill. Das Highlight war für uns definitiv der Pool! Fazit: sehr zu empfehlen!

Comblés !

Cadre de la propriété exceptionnel ! Le calme de la campagne avec le confort de se sentir comme à la maison. Les équipements mis à disposition sont très complets et les petites attentions de notre hôte nous ont ravis. Les extérieurs sont un gros point fort, parfaitement adaptés aux enfants et l’agencement permet de n’avoir aucun vis à vis avec les autres gîtes. Nous sommes enchantés de notre semaine !

een oase van rust

Deze vakantiewoning bevindt zich op een mooi , groot en iets afgelegen locatie. Honderd procent rust ! Een super grote tuin zorgt voor een heel leuke vakantie ervaring. Ook de woning heeft alle comfort en een zee van ruimte. Er is heel wat te zien in de buurt, maar je moet er wel een verplaatsing van algauw 45min tot een 1 uur voor overhebben. Dit vormde voor ons geen probleem en zo hadden wij finaal een leuke vakantie

A wonderful oasis

WOW, what a place! We’ve just returned from a week staying at this idyllic property and we had the most wonderful stay. Set in beautiful, impressive grounds, the accommodation is part of a larger building which the owners live in along with another holiday let. Although there were other people staying in the other holiday let, we hardly ever saw them and we pretty much had exclusive access to the whole of the grounds. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were fab and there were plenty of sun-loungers round the pool to relax on. We particularly loved the outdoor dining space which we used daily. The owner and her family were very helpful and always on hand to help if required. The accommodation is set close to lovely, small village which has a bakery and other amenities. A larger supermarket is only 10 minutes by car. We had an absolutely fantastic holiday and would love to come back and visit again soon.

Very quiet and relaxing

We spent 8 extremely relaxing days at Saint Christoly de Blaye. The cottage is situated on a large property and is part of the main building. The owner lives next door; however, she is very discreet and we hardly ever saw her. The accommodation is well equipped with good kingsize beds and very clean. There was everything we needed. The main attraction is the beautiful terrace and pool area with lots of chairs, loungers and sun umbrellas. Wonderful for children too as there is lots of land with forrest to roam and there are donkeys, ducks and chicken. The owner , Valerie , was very friendly & accommodating. With our little French and Valerie's efforts in English we managed to communicate all the important issues. Thank you, Valerie, for a wonderful week at your lovely place. During our stay we visited Bordeaux, 50min by car, the Medoc wine region - a day trip and St. Emilion, also approx 45 min by car. The Chateaux Dubraud just around the corner offers superb wine tastings with or without food. Just give them a quick call - they speak very good English and German and are very flexible on the times. We would come again.
