857 Oak Grove is a 2 bedroom Villa located on Edisto Island In the Wyndham Ocean Ridge 300 acre golf resort. This villa is a 2BR / 2BA that can sleep up to 8.Ā Enter into the open living, dining and kitchen combination. Ā The comfortable open living area features a TV to stream your favorite binge show. However that's probably not why you chose Edisto. Ā Dining area has table seating for 6 and bar seating for 2. The wet bar offers counter top serving space in the dining area. Ā Well equipped kitchen that includes a full sized washer/dryer in kitchen closet. Enjoy your favorite beverage on the comfortable, relaxing screened porch and take in the breeze while overlooking the golf course. Deer and other wildlife are regular visitors and can often be seen from the porch which can be accessed from the living area or master bedroom it also offers additional dining and comfortable seating. When it's time to retire for the evening the villa features a master bedroom with a king bed, tv, and a private bath with tub and shower combo. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, twin bunk beds, tv and a private bath with tub and shower combo as well. The living area has a queen sleeper sofa as well as a futon. Ā Conveniently located, 857 Oak Grove Villa is a short walk to the Beach, Golf Shop and other resort amenities.Ā The 300-acre golf/recreation resort is located on the southern end of Edisto Beach. Recreation amenities (3 pools, workout room, tours, Beach Cabana (restrooms, showers), bike rentals, water sports, video rentals) are available to all resort guests for an Amenities Fee. Ocean Ridge Beach Cabana is located in the 2000 block of Palmetto Blvd. Bath linens and Departure Cleaning are included.

One of the best condo's we have been to. Loved the layout, plenty of room for company to visit. Deer sightings were plentiful. Loved the screen porch!

Comfort of home while away

David and Suzi are amazing hosts and their place has all the comforts of home while away. Our 4 year old loved the screened in porch and our teens loved being able to walk around. Having my coffee in the morning on the porch and watching the wildlife was the best part for me.

Where to beginā€¦ the condo is very comfortable, relaxing and has everything needed to enjoy a vacation. The screened-in porch is heavenly with the views, wildlife, and breeze. The island community is great; laidback and tranquil. The ocean adventure is amazing and changes everyday. Weā€™re looking forward to returning.

Great place

We had a great trip! The location is great. The owner was very receptive to my questions. We saw deer and dolphins galore. We loved visiting Botany Bay Beach to see the shells (you arenā€™t allowed to remove shells so theyā€™re so many to admire). We loved the beach closest to the condo. The waves were minimal, we saw lots of dolphins while swimming and the kids loved just bobbing around in the water. Itā€™s definitely one of my favorite beaches and I really hope to return and stay at the same place.

Having 3 places to stretch out and watch the baby was perfect for us. The porch was great when a storm came threw and the deer came out. David responds quickly with any questions. I know we will be back.

The condo was clean & spacious. Beds were comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay as a family of 4. Plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable while watching tv together when we were taking a break from the beach & pool. With 2 kids in tow, we feel the extra cost of the amenities pass was worth it. Host was quick to reply to questions, friendly and helpful. We would book here again in the future!

Amazing condo

Starting with booking to leaving was amazing. David and Suzi are very easy nice and weā€™re so quick to respond when we thanked them personally while there. We had no issues at all. This condo is cozy, quiet, and all around awesome. Thank you both for our little home away from home. Weā€™ll definitely be back.

Extended Edisto beach stay

My wife and I booked Suzi and Davidā€™s place for an extended stay based on prior reviews and we were not disappointed. We had the pleasure of meeting David our first week when he had arranged to have new living room furniture delivered. The unit is well stocked with dishes, cookware and everything else we needed. We were there February and March and it was very quiet. There are plenty of beach treasures to search for close by and we took many day trips to explore SC. All of our guests enjoyed their stays and We Highly recommend staying here

Great location!

We have a wonderful time! Highly recommend the boat tour to Otter Island. The captain of the boat, Nick, shared the islands history which was interesting and he was very pleasant. We found lots of sand dollars and huge conch shells! If your a golfer, you may be interested to know my husband played the resorts golf course and had nothing but nice things to say about it. In the evenings we saw tons of deer grazing nearby. Charleston is a short drive and made a great day trip for us as well. Iā€™d recommend the tour of the dungeons if youā€™re a history buff. Thank you David! You made the whole reservation and check in process easy too.

Nice Place, well maintained. Good area to stay

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was in good shape, well appointed, and the kitchen was well stocked with both utensils and staples. We enjoyed the porch. Beds were comfortable. Overall we were pleased with the accommodations. David went through a lot of trouble to get the TV's and cable boxes working after a lightening strike. It was our first time on Edisto Island. The best beach is the State Park Beach. The main beach is steep and has many breakwaters. Be aware that the amenity fee to access the pools and other amenities is very high. We didn't purchase it as we are primarily beach people but it would have been nice to go to the pool. The price was exorbitant (IMO) so we passed. Other than that we very much enjoyed our stay at this condo, and the island as a whole. Would recommend this Condo.
