Relax on Huge Porch Overlooking Marsh- Short Walk to Beach

Edisto Island is a relaxing paradise. This Marshfront home has outstanding views with sunsets that are breathtaking. An extra large screened porch allows for rocking to the beautiful marsh view, or outdoor dining . The porch also has a dinner table that helps you enjoy the sunset or enjoy your morning coffee with the abundance of nature.

Our favorite part is the rustle of the big Palmetto Tree next to the porch that lulls you. Located on the right side of the duplex, with the bike path right out front. Only a short block to the ocean beach.

In the winter, we have a beautiful gas fireplace to let you feel cozy.

Plenty of room to bring your boat to park while staying.

Internet Service, No Smoking, No Pets.

There is a service for linens and towels on the island, Edisto Essentials: https://edistoessentials.com/products. You will need to contact them for pricing. If you choose, we do supply linens so you don't need to bring your own, but please make sure to give yourself time to wash and replace the linens we provide you or bring your own. We have a listing of the bed sizes on our property page for reference.

The sunsets off the back porch were truly spectacular and watching the storms blow across the marsh grasses was so pretty. The house is in need of repairs: Upoer seems on screen porch is detached, kitchen cabinet door came off, microwave door handle is broken, one of the gas burners doesnā€™t work well, filter on refrigerator needs changing, very squeaky floors in master bedroom, toilet seat not secure, front doors are hard to close fully. We had a great time with our family. I would recommend this house, but I would hope that the repairs would be addressed.

Great location and great views! Plenty of parking. Lots of seating both inside and out. Lots of sleeping room with three bedrooms as well. Sheets must be washed and dried before departure and the washer and dryer do take a long time even with not filling the load so bring your own or make sure you leave a lot of time to do laundry. This was our second time staying here and we definitely enjoyed it!

This is a nicely situated duplex in Edisto Beach. We enjoyed staying here and only wished the mattresses and furniture were more comfortable. The chairs weren't very "easy," and the mattresses were old. Maybe it's our age, but the older we get, the more important the comfort of the sitting and lying down get to be.

Thank you for your feedback. Weā€™re glad you enjoyed the location and your stay at Edisto Beach. We recently replaced one of the mattresses, use toppers for added comfort, and several of the chairs are only a few years old. Comfort can be very personal, but we appreciate your input and will keep it in mind as we continue making updates.

Overall pleasant experience with nice setup and reasonable price. Only complaint was the odor(s) in living area and master bed were a bit off-putting.

I wish you had let us know! The next renter let us know and we found out the gas was low and giving off a smell When that happens.

The porch view is very nice though the windows that look out onto the porch have failed seals so they are pretty murky. That ruins the view a bit. Nice location, easy walk to the beach area. The house needs a deep cleaning. It also lacked a few items that would have been helpful such as dishwasher detergent. Hard to bring that along when traveling long distances. Overall okay but not fabulous.

I canā€™t say enough about communication they respond quickly and work with you . Simply The Best! The home is small and charming you could easily stay at a bigger home but this is my 8th stay here and it feels like going home. The sunset view from the deck is beautiful itā€™s a short walk to the beach and the marsh is on the backside of the home to me the best of both.

We love Edisto Island!! It is a great place, to leave the hustle of everyday life behind and enjoy the quiet slow peacefulness. We adore the wildlife and the ease of getting around the island.

Sunsets across the marsh. The beautiful birds the make the island their home. The short walk to the beach. We especially enjoy sitting under the house on hot days letting the wind blew from the marsh.
