The Romantic Lady Slipper is Very Private, Very Secluded 1 Br, 1 bath Couples Cabin, and has a Large Very Hot Tub & NO Neighbors! More Secluded than any Cabin in the Area! Non-smoking and No pets. 2 Adults only. (Brand New Mattress, new easier porch access, new couch and recliner.)
Seclusion is the Key to Romance at the Lady Slipper. Unlike any other vrbo cabin location in Townsend!

If you are wanting to experience the feeling of a real Secluded Great Smoky Mountain Romantic Getaway in Townsend Tennessee, then look no further. We have the place for you. The Lady Slipper is the Most Secluded Rustic cabin in Townsend and VRBO area. Located by itself on a small lot on a Private Gated Drive in a very large forest (surrounding private property approx. 175 acres), you will appreciate the feeling of Quiet and Total Solitude and nature at its best from the moment you arrive. Built very spacious and with the rustic feel in mind, you will appreciate the feel and smell of rough sawed white pine lumber cut directly from the property. This Romantic and Secluded cabin will accommodate 2 adults only with a single private bedroom with a queen bed(brand new mattress). You will enjoy the large cathedral ceilings, stack stone fireplace, huge beams, ceiling fans, and all the amenities you need, including a Fully Furnished Kitchen with a large dining table, Washer/Dryer, Satellite TV, DVD/VCR combo, Keurig Coffee Pot, Charcoal Grill, and Central Heat and Air. If that isnā€™t enough, there is a huge porch with rockers for those quiet evenings. You may just want to relax in your Very Private Hot Tub with ā€œNo Neighborsā€ and enjoy each others company... Romance under the stars! You will be able to listen to the wind whisper through the tall timber of The Great Smoky Mountains in Townsend Tennessee. Also, Gatlinburg Tn & Pigeon Forge are located a short drive away as well as Dollywood, Dollyā€™s Splash Country, Ripley's Aquarium in the Smokies & Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Little River is also very close by where you can enjoy fishing, swimming & tubing.

*Due to this cabin's "Secluded Location" it does NOT have WIFI and is on well water. However "most" cell service is strong.

*No reservations will be held if the requestor does not properly communicate with us in a timely manner and answer all questions by us or does not put their name on the reservation request. Be looking for our response right after you send a booking request.

The requestor must also be staying on the cabin property and not booking for a 3d party.
The guests name the reservation is under Must be the one that checks into our office to receive keys and stay at the cabin property
...No Exceptions.

**All guests Must come to the office to check in BEFORE going to the cabin property.
No trailers unless they can be turned by hand due to
space.
No Visitors at the cabin. Paying renters only on the property.
2 Adults Only. No Children or Infants.
No refunds for Government Shutdowns.

All items left in cabin after check out will be donated. Grills are pulled Dec-March or Fire Danger.
No Firepit.
Inside steps go up to locked manager/storage area. Check in 5pm - 9pm eastern time. All guests check in at our Home Office.

*This is a "real rustic mountain cabin" in the woods. It is Not a "polished" house or upscale Appalachian chalet / home that is made out or said to be a rustic cabin or a cabin that is located right on a major road.
*This cabin is possibly the Most Secluded that is on VRBO in the smoky mtns.
** No Feeding of Wildlife or Hunting

The quiet, seclusion while still close to town was awesome! The place is beautiful, and the hosts are so hospitable! I would definitely recommend to anyone! Head to Cade's Cove for a scenic ride. The Foothill's Parkway is a stone's throw away!

I have felt so at ease here. Not afraid to be by myself. I have driven all over and it has been so beautifully and peaceful. I did get to Gatlinburg for a day and i prefer the quiet. The hot tub was very nice. Only used it once. Wish there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Everything else was perfect and i hope to be back maybe next year

This was the perfect cabin for a quiet and private getaway. No other cabin in sight. Interior and exterior were very clean. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to all the wildlife in the evenings. We will definitely book again.

I would like to say the stay was restful and relaxing, but my wife and I were out sightseeing quite a bit! The cabin was very secluded and, seriously, very relaxing. While we did not see and bears, we did see 2 deer. Overall, I certainly would recommend this location! It sure beats the hustle and bustle of the more touristy area nearby!

This cabin was exactly what my wife and I were hoping forā€”a quiet, secluded retreat tucked away in the woods of Townsend. From the moment we arrived, we felt at peace. The cabin was the perfect size for just the two of us, cozy but not cramped, and everything was exactly as described in the listing. It was spotless, well-stocked, and you can tell the owners take great care of it.What really stood out to us was how private and peaceful it was. We didnā€™t hear a thing except the sounds of nature, which was exactly what we needed. The hosts were wonderfulā€”friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. They made us feel right at home.We left feeling rested and grateful for the time we spent there. We couldnā€™t have asked for a better experience and would gladly stay here again.

We had a wonderful visit here. Property was totally secluded and super clean. No one bothered us and we were able to relax. Saw a bear right outside, which was super cool. The town is beautiful and the hot tub was perfect.

We LOVED our stay at the Lady Slipper. The cabin is so clean, comfy and peaceful. We loved the seclusion but yet if we wanted to go into town, it was an easy trip. The hot tub was so relaxing at the end of each day and the star view from the hot tub was AMAZING. We also saw a bear on the property while there which was awesome!The cabin was so sweetly decorated and Lisa had even cutely decorated it for fall. There was everything you would want to use in the kitchen and plenty of towels were available for our time there. I suffer from allergic asthma and traveled all the way from Springfield MO with my air purifier to find that there was an even nicer one in the cabin!! Such a nice asset!Townsend is the most charming little town and it made for a perfect vacation for my husband and I. We found plenty to do and mostly drove through Caves Codes several times which was awesome even when we saw zero bears! Hopefully we can come back to the Smokies sometime again! Itā€™s definitely a little taste of heaven in our books!

When we started thinking about building this cabin we new that we wanted to head in a different direction. Something that not everyone has. A Truly Secluded cabin was it! .
We cut most the timber ourselves and had it sawn at a local mill. Thus the Lady Slipper was born! It is rustic for sure and if your looking for a very private getaway this is it. No neighbors nearby, No hwy 321 noise. Just Privacy! Now that's hard to find here in the Smokies for a rental cabin. Oh and yes this is a real cabin. Not a fluffy Appalachian house said to be a cabin. As for us we do all the bookings and cleaning. Yes we do everything! So when you talk to us on the phone or message us you are talking to us.. the company. Chuck & Lisa, Tipton's Cabin Rentals' and we have been in business for more than 26 years.
