This is an amazing property with plenty of space for a large group. The extra fridge in garage, and the drink fridge and ice maker in the kitchen were great to have for our group. (many homes don't have these) The house provides everything you could possibly need for your stay. Try to check-in before going to the grocery as we bought several items in advance that were already there for guest use! We enjoyed using the fireplace and firepit - even though it was early September! The decor is thoughtful and makes the stay quite pleasant. Very convenient location for fly fishing opportunities. Bedrooms were separate enough to provide privacy. Great scenery even though the view from deck is partially blocked by trees. Owners are very helpful.Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Sky Haus! The views are wonderful and we enjoyed the deck and hot tub every day. We had multiple generations of our family stay together and had plenty of space to comfortably gather. The kitchen was stocked better than any other rental I’ve ever been and had everything we would need (including spices!) This really felt like a home for our week stay and was perfect for our family vacation. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice property. Spacious, clean and very well equipped/stocked. The views are fantastic and the location is very quiet! Most mornings we had wildlife in the yard. Our family of 11 really enjoyed our week long stay. I would highly recommend this property.

Great time in Big Sky!

Our family stayed for the week. So much to do…Yellowstone, whitewater rafting, hiking, tubing, what a great time! The house was excellent. Great room was perfect connected to the kitchen. We ate on the outside deck several times, perfect view of Lone Peak and the stars at night. In the back we enjoyed the fire pit a couple of evenings. I will also say this home was so well stocked! Made it really easy on us to cook! Thanks Theresa. I’m sure many families will enjoy this special place!!

Beautiful home with gorgeous views

My extended family of 13 stayed here the last week of June. It was plenty of space. The kids had their own living/game room downstairs. We all could actually eat dinner sitting down! Theresa was amazing with her communication. The house was clean and well stocked. Highly recommend.

Really nice stay, host was very communicative and kind. Home is well kept with any extras you may need, great place to have a group gathering. Ski in/out was a great feature, hot tub was clean with all supplies needed. Would definitely stay again.

Great property!

We had a great time on the mountain. Great snow. Although the skiing ‘out’ was ok, the ski ‘in’ was suboptimal. The ski in takes a very long time and requires a lot of traverse/poling. We ended up carpooling to the Madison Base everyday. House is well-stocked! Lovely!

Everything was great with the home, neighbor across the road was a little odd, stop my truck truck in the middle of the road as my son and I were going to golf. The neighbor asked what we were doing there, I told her we stopped to take some pictures of a fox. She responded that she didn’t want us taking pictures of her home. Very curious.

Comfortable, Well-outfitted Home

This was an an excellent place for our 3 generation group of 10: 6 adults & 4 kids ages 10 ,7 ,6, & 4. It was very comfortable and well-supied & equipped. Owner Theresa was very responsive & easy to communicate with. A special touch was the extra travel- sized supplies the owner made available. The master bedroom has a great view of Lone Mountain-- such a treat! The cousins had a ball in the bunk bed room together and playing out back. We enjoyed the deck hot tub, the grill, & the firepit for s'mores. Would definitely recommend & stay there again! bunk bunk bed room together sleeping in tbunk

Beautiful Home/Beautiful Location

Sky Haus was the perfect choice for our family trip to Big Sky. The house, itself, had all the amenities we were looking for. Plenty of beds and bathrooms, and a great hot tub on a porch that has the most breathtaking views of the mountains. The pantry was well-stocked and the gift basket we received upon check in was filled with all sorts of goodies. We did have a couple of issues with the disposal and the alarm, but they were quickly resolved after contacting the owner. The only two other “issues” we had with the house was that it did not have A/C, so it did get warm during the day (but it cooled off at night so A/C wasn’t needed to sleep), and the beds in the bunk room were a little small for my 22 year old son and my step-daughters 19 year old boyfriend. Otherwise, we would definitely recommend Sky Haus to anyone with a large family. We absolutely loved it!!

Amazing!

Don't hesitate to book this home - it is just perfect! The views are incredible, the hosts are gracious and caring, the location is terrific for exploring Big Sky, Bozeman, and Yellowstone, and the house itself is lovely and incredibly well-stocked. We have rented many VRBOs and agreed this was our favorite! We ranged in ages from 7 to 86 and everyone was thrilled with the house. Once my parents navigated the stairs, everything they needed was all on the same level. Again, we would highly recommend this property!

Great group house in big sky

This is a great house for a larger group. We were three couples with seven children between us. The downstairs is a great space for 6 to 15-year-old kids, and the upstairs comfortably sleeps three couples And has a great living room kitchen area for gathering. Theresa and Gary were easy to communicate with and great hosts. The kitchen and bathrooms are very well equipped, which made cooking for our group very easy. The house has amazing views and a lovely, hot tub. We didn’t have the best of weather for skiing unfortunately, which made getting back from the mountain on skis difficult. However, even with limited snow, it was easy to ski down to the mountain. All in all, it was a great trip and a lovely home, and we would be happy to return in the future.

Best House ever

The first thing that you notice is the amazing view. When you start to look around you will find the most incredible detail in labeling the cabinets and drawers so that you know where everything is. As a detailed person and cook this was awesome. All of us loved the house and were impressed with not only the quality of everything but also it felt like home. Ski out was very cool. Twice we followed the groomer down to the White Otter lift to start our day. The ski back was interesting. My recommendation is to ski right at the top of the White Otter lift and hug the slope on the left. You will know it when you see it. Then there is a short hike up from the base of the White Otter chair to the Cascade Lift. Catch your breath because the stairs you need to take up to the road will be tough. Then it is smooth skiing to the second groomer that will bring you back to the house. Loved the trip, Loved the house and I will so come back again and stay here.

Wonderful property! Nice arrangement and bedding for 12 adults. Amazing how well the house is stocked with spices, toiletries, etc. Far superior to any previous VRBO home our group has rented. Driving to the free parking at the base worked out better for us older skiers. But the others mastered the out/in instructions well. Nice heated garage! Extra refrigerator was a great touch. Property manager was very responsive and did an excellent job of resolving a minor hot tub issue that we probably caused. Interaction with owners was great. Friendly and very helpful. Excellent in home book on the house as well as things to do in the local area. Loved the radiant heat in the floors. Hot tub was neat. The steam shower was nice. Thanks for sharing you home with us.

Cozy, fun, comfortable, multi-family mountain home!

Beautiful neighborhood, fun ski resort and quaint town! Great home for big cozy family meals, clean hot tub, large mud room/lockers for ski equipment. Ski-out/hike-in property. Fun morning run to the chairlift more effort to ski back to home. We had 3 families with adult children and had a blast together! Don’t miss the dinner sleigh ride, hike to falls and weekend dance jam on plaza.

Great House and a Welcoming owner

Spent a week skiing at Big Sky in Jan. 2024. The Ski Haus was a wonderful location and a very comfortable house. Most importantly the hosts were marvelous... very responsive and thoughtful. They made sure we had a wonderful and welcoming stay.

Great Stay! Great View! and Outstanding Management!!!

Lots of games and toys for all ages. Sleds came in really handy. Shortage of snow. But we got to use the outdoor firepit and the grill. The wood burning fireplace very nice amenity. A very cozy rustic house. Owner and property manager very attentive and responsive to all our needs and questions. Pantry and kitchen well stocked with the basics.

Great House!

Great House. Very well stocked. They even had travel size tooth paste, mouth wash, floss. 3 main bedrooms upstairs and two bunk rooms below with lots of space for kids. Great gaming center in lower level. Kitchen with everything including 4 bottles of wine that you could use & replce (we met friends at their place and no time to get wine so this came in handy. Then replaced the next day). Only down side was it was a bad snow year in December for all resorts in North America so ski-in/out not available. But they do have a shuttle and free parking at the mountain village so easy solution.

Wonderful home in a beautiful setting

We all thoroughly enjoyed out week in Big Sky. This home is beautiful, has wonderful amenities, and is incredibly well located and well stocked. The views are amazing and we lacked for nothing. We visited Yellowstone and went fly fishing, played golf, went hang gliding, hiked, shopped and dined out in great restaurants. When it rained we had football, ping pong, and dozens of games to play. I highly recommend this home.

Family vacation

The house was definitely more than we expected. A family of 10, we had no trouble fitting in with an abundance of room for everyone. The supplies were also more than we expected. Views were beautiful! If we were skiers we would be back in the winter. Thank you for a comfortable home to come back to everyday.

We've traveled all over the world, and believe Big Sky is one of the most beautiful spots we've ever seen. Our Big Sky ski vacation is enhanced by our ski-in, ski-out location in Mountain Village's Cascade Development. The groomed ski trail runs alongside our driveway, carrying us down to the White Otter lift.

Wintertime transforms our backyard into a winter wonderland as our family and friends make snow sculptures, snow furniture and ski jumps.

Summertime brings us out for our Yellowstone National Park vacation - less than an hour away. We enjoy hiking Ousel Falls, Lava Lake and Beehive Basin. The two disk golf courses are addicting, and the zipline exhilarating!

Our entire family spends the whole day on the Gallatin and Madison World Class Fly Fishing rivers only to come back to SkyHaus exhausted, yet moments later we're playing board games or card games well into the evening. No matter how long we stay at SkyHaus, we never think it's long enough!

In the spring and fall, fly fishing the Gallatin and Madison rivers are a highlight. The Gallatin is about 15 minutes away, the Madison less than 1 hour. Yellowstone National Park's west entrance is about 50 miles away, and the closest to 'Old Faithful'.

Yellowstone National Park is so close you can easily day-trip it! Your Big Sky ski vacation is made easier by the ski in, ski out trail on our property. Very handy not to have to pack up the car with your gear and drive to the ski base area.

SkyHaus is a luxury rental and entertains easily as the open floor plan accommodates up to 15 people with ease.

The two steam showers are a favorite among the guests, who also enjoy the large private hot tub on the deck.

Private WiFi keeps you in touch if you so desire and DirecTv (HD) is in all rooms except the bunkroom.

Our local property management company is available 24/7 for any emergencies that may arise. They also offer a full menu of fee-based services while you're here.
