Beautiful house. Great kitchen and lots space and games. Our grand kids were fascinated with the small TV with built-in VCR in the bar and they learned to play nine ball and eight ball. Great location - snow play in the neighborhood, easy access to Yosemite Valley and very short drive to Skiing at Badger Pass.

Amazing Stay ā€“ Perfect for Families!We had a truly wonderful stay at this vacation home! The kitchen and grill were fabulousā€”we cooked all of our meals with ease, which made our time together even more special. The rooms were beautiful, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Annual Yosemite Trip!

LOVED the property and we will definitely stay here again! Our host was so very thoughtful and very communicative. We created core cherished memories and this house was perfect for our trip! Loved the location and very easy to get to Taft Point, Glacier Point and the Valley Floor. A definite return!

Very Disappointing

For the extraordinary price, we expected alot more from what could be a delightful property.PRO: Location and the bar area was super funky with a myriad of interesting trinkets and a library of VHS tapes to watch on the 12" TV screen. The hostess responded quickly to inquiries.CONS: The property and house are a mess! Clearly the owner is spending NO money on upkeep and must be trying to squeeze out every rental dollar without doing anything for guest satisfaction. From the outside, the broken asphalt driveway and collapsing retaining wall along the overgrown, unkempt driveway led to the large green shipping container sitting in front of the house. We arrived after the 5pm checkin to find the house extremely musty smelling and very hot. Spiderwebs in the face greeted us as we went to the bedrooms upstairs to find an even hotter environment and only 1 box fan and 2 other smaller fans to try and cool things off. Two of the beds had dirty, soiled sheets that we had to replace, one bed had hair in it. There was only one bath towel per person, so we had to do laundry during our 3 night stay. The kitchen was in poor condition with water damaged cabinets, yard sale quality dishes/pots/pans and absolutely nothing else (not even salt & pepper). The benches at the large kitchen table were stained and smelly along with an old couch that smelled so bad we couldn't sit on it. The owner said we would get a refund after the 1st night if we wanted to leave, but where would we go???

A Great Place for Exploring Yosemite

My family and I had a great stay in this wonderful lodge. The property is spacious and private, with lots of amenities (bar, pool table, hammock, washer/dryer). The place is fun and inviting.The location inside Yosemite National Park is wonderful. Glacier Point Road is just 3 miles away: Glacier Point is a must see -- such a fantastic view of the entire Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, Mirror Lake, El CapitƔn, and all the other great spots in Yosemite.Just 9 miles from the house and you get your first of many great views of Half Dome as you enter Yosemite Valley. From there the drive is nothing but great sights to behold around every turn.And Michelle is an amazing host -- she graciously accommodated our special check-in request, and provided lots of helpful information and tips about places and things to do.We had a great stay at Yosemite Mountain Lodge, and would be delighted to stay here again.Jim W.

Wonderful

We enjoyed our stay at Yosemite Lodge. We were having a memorial for our Mother who loved Yosemite and vacationed there most of her life. The property is able to comfortably handle 8 adults. The large dining area and kitchen were perfect for our family gatherings. Each couple had their own bedroom and with four full bathrooms no waiting for a shower. The house is comfortable with plenty of couches and chairs. There is plenty of parking for the cars. On a lighter note, we enjoyed looking through the extensive VHS collection Michelle has. She even has a VCR to play them on. We did not watch much TV, but you could spend a long winter watching all those movies. With the bar and pool table we kept busy having fun. I would definitely stay again when I need to entertain a large group.

Family trip to Yosemite

Weā€™ve stayed in Yosemite West before so knew the neighborhood. The house was as described; itā€™s an older house but has everything you could need. Plenty of space for a big group. We wished we had spent more time enjoying the yard as it looked lovely, but we exhausted ourselves during our hikes! My two grandbabies (2 and 3) had an absolute blast running around. The kitchen table is huge and can seat many, but no backrests so one in our group couldnā€™t sit at the table comfortably but wasnā€™t a big issue. Bedrooms are all upstairs so if needing a ground floor bedroom be aware (not a problem for us this trip but has required room juggling in the past). We enjoyed and would stay again !

The Perfect Yosemite Family Cottage

We stayed for 3 nights mid-August and left wishing we had booked more! Another family was coming or we would have asked to stay longer. Highlights included: the spacious bedrooms, pool table (my kids played at it for hours!), expansive breakfast table with gorgeous view, multiple outdoor seating areas (especially the one on the back porch to look at stars at night, and the incredibly gracious host Michelle. She was SO helpful! Great location in terms of getting to and from the valley as well. Highly recommend. And we hope to return someday!

Fun Yosemite Vacation Home

We had a great stay at the property. While there were a couple of amenities we wished for, the space in the house was great. There were nine of us and so much room, we were always able to spread out comfortably.

Classic Yosemite experience

We had an excellent experience on our hiking trip to Yosemite. The Lodge had a wide open kitchen family area that allowed us to cook and watch our children play games and have fun. The first floor is very spacious and opens up to a large outdoor patio that allow us to enjoy, beautiful evening sunshine after our long hikes in Tuolmone Valley. The location is close to the tunnel view entrance into the valley, which made it very convenient. Staying inside the park gates made it easy to enter into the park without long delays. Believe me, that is priceless. I would highly recommend this place for larger groups because of its spacious design, I would rent this place again

Yosemite adventure

We enjoyed your spacious home and the location was perfect! Thw peace and tranquility there were much-needed. There were two falls with in a short drive. I enjoyed the NO Wi-Fi however my teenagers struggled..

Wonderful Home, Great Location

We had the best family weekend staying in this home! We originally had reservations in the valley that got canceled and we wanted to be as close as possible without being in a hotel. The layout and cleanliness of the house could not have been more ideal. Our kids are older and the house was big enough to accommodate us + significant others. We actually had a very intimate wedding ceremony at the Tunnel View and we celebrated with an amazing dinner and celebration at the house afterwards. I would love to stay again someday. Thank you Michelle!

Yosemite Family Reunion

This is a great property for a large group. Our family reunion/birthday celebration was large enough that we rented two houses in Yosemite West, but because of the large outdoor area, kitchen, and bar pool room areas, we used this house as the main meeting area. The kitchen if fully equiped with everything you might need. There is plenty of parking. The location inside the park is perfect and centrally located from Wawona, Glacier Point, and Yosemite Valley. We loved this property! The other house that we rented could hold a candle to this property. The bear wandering through the patio was an added plus!

Great house but no internet

Great house and you canā€™t beat the location inside Yosemite, close to the valley, Glacier Point and Wawona. I would have given it 5 stars except that it lacks internet and was a little short on towels and light bulbs. Michelle the owner was extremely nice and I definitely recommend it.

Great place, great location

This place was a great place for a group retreat. Itā€™s hard to beat the location close to the park, amenities, etc. The only issue we had was that the trash dumpster was not accurate as described or from the pictures sent. The code didnā€™t work on the dumpster lock, so we had to figure out how to dispose of our trash, which was a bit of a hiccup.

Fantastic home in a great location

This is a great place to stay to explore Yosemite with family and friends. The home is very spacious and can easily accommodate 8-9 people. During the day - you are easy distance to all that Yosemite has to offer. In the evenings we enjoyed cooking meals, play pool and general time hanging out together (No wifi is a bonus with teenagers). The communication was top notch - super responsive and helpful. We hope to stay here again on our next trip to Yosemite -- would be a great spot for a family holiday get together!

Yosemite with Friends

Great location, thirty-five minutes from the Ahwahnee. Michelle, the owner, was very nice, helpful and answered all questions quickly and efficiently. The house is large and the Kitchen and living area for gathering is a great space! The pool room/ bar is a fun. The patio off the kitchen for BBQing and enjoying sitting outside is also nice. The house is older and needs some maintenance but is overall functional and nice. For a laid back vacation in the park it works well.

I was raised in Yosemite N.P. Our home is one of the first homes ever built in Yosemite West. My parents ran it as a former B&B and we have had people from all over the world stay w/ us. I love sharing our home w/ families, friends and businesses from around the world.

It is one of the largest homes inside Yosemite National Park. It is centrally located and has a lot of space for families and friends to gather and there is plenty of parking.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

Our home is one of a kind and was mostly built by my father in the early 70's. It's rustic, unique, charming and very entertaining. Our home stood alone before many other homes were bulit in Yosemite West and we had no phones or cable. My dad added a sunken game room and Saloon to entertain us. Now it has entertained hundreds of people from around the world. We are also the only home in Yosemite West that owns all 7 lots that surround it. It has more privacy and is a great place to get away from crowds. My kids love putting up tents on the empty lots to camp and have a outdoor experince. If you perfer sleeping under the stars or being in a big house with comfortable beds, it offers something for everyone.
We have a outdoor campfire ring away from the house with wood stumps to sit on and is a great place to gather around at night and share stories, eat smores and look up at the stars. If you perfer to stay closer to the house we have another fire ring in front of our home that you can sit in a rocking chair and relax.
Our kitchen table can sit up to10 plus people and is the heart of the home to gather families and friends around.
