A restorative stay in nature where you can take a break from work, Wi-Fi, routines, and enjoy the company of those who matter most. Scandinavian inspired dwelling, a one-of-a-kind experience in North Georgia. Set on a 2-acre forest, 11 minutes to downtown Dahlonega.

Relax on a comfy sofa gazing onto a distinctive slate gas fireplace in the living room or turn your gaze to the expansive windows highlighting phenomenal forest views. Luxuriate on one of the Queen pillow top beds, featuring luxury linens and comfy pillows. Prepare a meal in our fully stocked designer stainless steel kitchen which includes five burner electric oven, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, utensils, cookware & Keurig. Full bath w/slate shower, oversized showerhead, plush towels.

Only ten minutes from the Dahlonega Square yet tucked away in its own two-acre forest. Nordic Overlook is a private retreat that keeps you close to everything. If you want to enjoy a relaxing trip in the mountains and wake up to the sound of birds chirping and the quiet of the wilderness, then Nordic Overlook is for you. A rustic atmosphere, allowing you to unwind and enjoy the scenery free from crowds and noise.

NOTE: While the driveway is 100% paved it is STEEP which is common in North Georgia mountains. We DO NOT recommend cars with trailers. If you are not comfortable driving up & down a STEEP driveway, please do NOT book with us. This is especially true if you are an inexperienced motorcyclist rider.

This time of year, it is ideal to cozy up in front of the fireplace at Nordic Overlook! We always encourage guests to immerse yourself 🚣‍♀️ in the location 🚴 🍽️allowing for the most enriching discoveries. That feeling when Spring is in 🌱the air at Nordic Overlook is a sight to behold. We had a wonderful two-night stay at this uniquely located property amongst the most beautiful trees. The space was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and feel at home. We would highly recommend staying here, just be prepared for the steep driveway, which may not be for the faint of heart, but is certainly manageable. We would happily return and truly enjoyed our stay.

OMG! Beautiful!, That was my first thought opening the front door! The house is so warm and inviting. Tastefully decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped. Beds were super comfy and cozy..outside is simply amazing from watching the deer cross in front to the birds singing and then the absolute quiet at times. Perfect relaxing getaway. The owners were super accommodating and always followed up on any questions we had during our stay.

We had a fabulous stay at this location. The accommodations were fantastic. The “cabin” was extremely clean and well kept, exactly as it appears in the listing. The owner was very engaged and responsive. They thought of everything you could possibly need on a vacation and provided it to make our visit a memorable one. Definitely would recommend!!
