Beautiful Setting

The location at the quiet end of the lake was absolutely stunning. Plenty of room for our party of eight. The house is definitely dated, but the great view, private dock, large kitchen and open common area more than makes up for the age.

The property was fantastic. Beautiful and secluded with private access to the lake. The property manager was friendly and easy to work with. It was truly his goal to make our stay enjoyable and pain free. He did just that. Great accommodations and would recommend!

Great Lake front cabin with dock.

We had a great vacation, dated cabin but the location can’t be beat. Oven doesn’t work properly and kitchen could use some more pots and pans for cooking.

Thank you for staying and for your feedback! We have a new oven on order, and will have that installed as soon as it comes in. We'll also do another inventory of the pots and pans and get those stocked up as needed.

While there is a QR code at the door to retrieve the lockbox code, it is always sent within minutes of your booking. It is advantageous to look back at your booking confirmation for this information prior to arriving just in case your phone doesn't work

Gorgeous property right on the water!

This house has the most beautiful views anyone could ask for! Stunning sunrises! Property is spacious, with a large kitchen and seating for the whole crew. Bedrooms were clean and relaxing, beds very comfortable. House is vintage, which our group loved! Thank you for sharing your wonderful house with us.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for helping me with the description - vintage - I would say you're spot on! It's an older house that has been well cared for but with minimal modernizations (although some of the kitchen appliances are being upgraded this fall). The lake is definitely the draw for the property, less than a mile from the renowned North Beach but with its very own private dock and large deck for lounging or dining. It's a little escape to serenity, maybe a little nostalgic, overall just a great lakefront getaway.

Great lake front property

Enjoyed our stay in June, though the weather was colder than expected we still had a great time taking the boat each day. Check-in was difficult given it required internet or cell access, which we did not have at the location by the lake, so it took some time to figure that out. So it may be helpful for the property company to send instructions before arrival.

Beautiful Quiet Location

This house is spotless clean, with a lovely deck for morning coffee at sunrise. Kitchen well stocked. Easy access with lock box entry. Spotty internet service. Four bedrooms, lots of room for a big family! Very close neighbors, like all of McCall, but very quiet neighborhood. Close to North Beach! We enjoyed the peaceful setting. Suggestions: possibly provide small coffee pack for first day arriving.

Nice lakefront stay

We had a nice time at the home. It’s dated but seems fairly well cared for. Water heater didn’t work when we got there and patio furniture wasn’t out so there was no where to relax outside. Maintenance man fixed the water heater the second day, and put out the furniture. Would have given 5 stars if they’d have been more prepared for the first guests of the season.

family get together

The location is perfect right on the water. Check in is not so good. We were lucky the back door was open. They never sent the code to get in till 10:00 that night. I reached out right when we got there. The internet is off and on so they need to let you know before you head over there.

Unfortunately not as relaxing as we had hoped

This property is located in a beautiful location. Unfortunately, the carpets are stained and very dirty. The majority of the home is carpeted, including the master bath. There is also a constant unpleasant odor in the home. We had hoped to relax and enjoy a couple of days on the lake, but found that difficult due to the lack of cleanliness.

Thank you for your feedback Michelle, we've put some additional work into the stain removal and professional cleaning as well as upgraded some linens, kitchen items this past fall. Additionally, the owners installed a brand new furnace to help with the early and late season temperature control and repaired each of the inoperable windows to ensure proper climate control is achievable through using the heat when it's cold as well as open windows and fans for air flow when it's warm. We hope you'll come back and check it out!

Nice Lake front cabin

We had a great stay at this home. Like others have mentioned, it is dated. However it was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. There game cabinet was well stocked. I took a star off as there is no closet access and no where to hang clothes in the master bedroom. Even a row of hooks with a few hangers would be helpful. Also the vacuum was not working and we really needed it with a 7 day stay. There is only 1 working lounge chair and no Adirondack chairs as shown in the pictures. We would definitely rent again.

Hi Jo, thank you for your review! In the master, the closet is locked out for the owner's use, and while somewhat inconvenient, there is a second bedroom just a few steps away with a full closet to hang clothes if needed. Update on the outdoor furniture - there are now 3 loungers in addition to the full dining set that seats 6! Oh, and we replaced the vacuum as well. Next time you visit, please let us know of any issues immediately during your stay so that you can enjoy the immediate benefit of their remediation.

Great location but that’s it.

Home is dated (which is given its beautiful location) and needs to be deep cleaned. It’s a time capsule which I can appreciate but definitely needs some TLC. Cob webs and bugs everywhere. Has mildew smell throughout. The property management company does not return phone calls. Left 3 messages without a call back. Most likely won’t return to this property.

McCall Lake House.

The house proximity to the lake was great with it being located on the quiet northside. The house was spacious with a great outdoor space and the house had great parking and an amazing dock. The house felt a bit dated and was in need of some repairs. The kitchen faucet had really low water pressure and it only had cold water, there was no hot water at all. The shower floor in one of the bathrooms on the main level was stained and looked dirty. Some of the power outlets did not work. The upstairs bathroom did not have a shower just a bathtub which was not practical for the large group. Overall our stay was good but I wanted to pass this along to the owner. Thanks!

Great Location, Very Dated

The house has a great location but is very dated. The owners left dog poop all over the yard, so we showed up and spent the first few minutes scooping dog poop off the yard which made us pretty grossed out and annoyed. The kitchen sink has such low water pressure it’s almost impossible to clean a dish. Furnishings and decor is very very old. The yard needs attention as the lawn is dead and nothing is raked. It was not enjoyable to stay at this house.

Wonderful location.

The location of the house is wonderful, right on the lake. And the house is nice and large for a family stay. It was very clean, and the kitchen was good. On the other side, the carpet, while recently cleaned, is sort of creepy and for some reason has been put in the bathrooms. Three lights were out in the living room ceiling, another lamp lacked a bulb, and the TV didn't work. And it was a little odd to have the house instructions direct us to "find the router" if the internet wasn't working. Is there a reason why we weren't just told where the router is instead of having to go hunt for it?
