Perfect Summer rental in prime location on Washburn Lake

Come enjoy this piece of heaven on Washburn Lake. This property offers all the amenities of home with shoreline on one of the most sought after lakes in the area. Washburn offers access to great fishing, sand beaches, and a wonderful lake community. Public access to the lake with 117' of shoreline to enjoy.

The main cabin layout consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 full bath, with additional sleeping available in the living area. Central air and heat included with your stay. Kitchen fully furnished with standard appliances and a dining area.

There is a mother in law suite attached (but has a separate entrance from the main cabin) where our property keeper stays to help maintain the property.

A 1.90 acre lot with a huge flat area down by the lake for all of your lake & yard game fun. fire pit and wraparound deck overlooking the property. There is a fire pit available for burning with some wood provided. Propane gas grill is provided for all of your barbecue needs. Outdoor table & chairs on the deck for your use. Linens and bath towels furnished with washer and dryer provided.

Pets are welcome however we do require a damage deposit and an additional $75 cleaning fee. We do limit this to (2) small/medium sized dogs. The cabin does sleep 8 comfortably but we do ask an additional $10/person per day for over 6 people. This helps cover additional cleaning fees and wear & tear to the property.

A dock will be available for your use the during summer months.

Seasonally we offer a pontoon available for rent at a rate of $175/day. We ask that if rented, the pontoon be used during daylight hours only. We do offer this an added amenity but cannot guarantee it will be available during your stay. Please contact ahead of time to verify availability. We do ask that you have experience driving a pontoon and have a valid drivers license that you can send us a copy of. Renters will be responsible for obeying all rules and regulations including a valid watercraft operators license if required.

This is our 2nd time renting this property. It is absolutely fantastic! The living area is so comfortable and cozy with plenty of room for everyone! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need! Owners are very responsive and always available! Will definitely return next year for another visit!

Great vacation property

Our 3rd stay and always very pleased with the house, yard, fun in the clear water for all. Caught fish off the docks but not many big enough to keep but fun. A and we'll be back.

Girls Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed this property! There were 6 retired ladies, 2 walk with a cane. Everything was accessible and comfortable. All one level is definitely a plus. Host communicated very well. We already decided that we will be back next year! Canā€™t say enough great things about this property!

Perfect lake rental!

The home was large and had a great gathering area with view of the lake. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. The grounds were well kept and it had great access to the lake. Fishing was wonderful. It is a very quiet area which made it a perfect getaway.

Perfect family cabin week

We had a great stay on Washburn Lake for the week! The cabin was great and we had everything we needed! The second fridge was AMAZING to have and we needed minimal cooler space!!!! The best ever! We even started to have cooler nights so we could have the windows open and enjoy the summer air! The fishing was great and we caught a large bass (4.5lbs) on the lake! We only catch and release so itā€™s still out there! The boulders in the lake were a bit terrifying but if you stayed away from the shallows and the buoys then you were good to go! There was plenty of space to park. We had 4 vehicles and 2 trailers at one point as well as Bobā€™s, the caretaker, and we were still able to maneuver with ease!

Lovely lake home, quiet and peaceful.

Awesome large living room over looking the lake! Room for everyone to spread out on comfy furniture. Very relaxing and serene. The yard is large & flat to the lake. Appreciated that we could take our puppy. Pontoon boat was a plus. Bob was there and shared his fishing spots, & fishing was good. Loved the outside lighted deck at night and the fire pit, Bob had the firewood all stacked up for our evening fire. If you are going this year, take a mosquito hat! All that rain has made them abundant already.

The perfect get-away

This VRBO ended up being the perfect spot for our long weekend getaway. The listing is exactly as pictured (if not better), very comfortable and well equipped in all areas. The front great room was wonderful for morning coffee watching the sun come up over the lake and spending time together in the same space in general. Loved the flat lot, sandy beach, clear lake, deck and fire pit. We were a group of 6 (three couples) and all commented how we'd love to come back in the future as well as think about this location for a family getaway with our adult children. We enjoyed zip lining in Nisswa, kayaking, a day fishing from the pontoon, cooking/eating too much and fires in the firepit each night during our stay and hope to be back in the future!

Friends Annual Get-together

My friends and I really enjoyed staying at this property; it's the best stocked vrbo I've ever stayed in...lots of kitchen supplies and piles of towels. We loved the big livingroom, the beautiful view of the lake, and watching the deer meander through the yard. Heidi was always quick to respond to any questions, and we really appreciated that they allow pets. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Family Fishing Trip

This was a wonderful lake house for our family. It has a big yard and nice little beach area for the grandkids to play. We caught a lot of fish right off the dock! The house has a huge room great for playing games or just hanging out viewing the lake thru all the windows!! The beds were very comfortable. Great location.

Loved our stay at this cabin!

This was our first VRBO, so we were not sure what to expect, but we enjoyed it so much we hope to visit again. The cabin was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. There was plenty of room inside and out for our family's activities. We especially enjoyed our time on the pontoon fishing and cruising around the lake. My granddaughters loved the swing. Uncle Bob was friendly and helpful. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Annual fishing trip

For our annual fishing trip this year we stayed here. Weā€™ve never fished the lake before and didnā€™t know what to expect. The part of the lake that the cabin is on is extremely weedy and can be tricky navigating until you learn the lake. Half our party took out the pontoon which ran great but with the wind was a little hard to stay on spots to fish from. The other half of our party used fishing kayaks and a canoe. If you enjoy large mouth and small mouth fishing this is the lake for you. We lost count of the bass we caught. We caught sunfish, northerns, large mouth, small mouth, and small crappies. We didnā€™t have any luck on Walleyes but we had plenty of fish for a big fish fry and then a couple bags to bring home. The cabin is very comfortable in the bedrooms. The only issue for sleeping maybe for anyone sleeping on the couches you will be waking up with the sun filling the room. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Long Family Cabin Weekend

Our family had a great time. Very clean and well kept. The owners were very fast to answer questions. The cabin had all the amenities of home. It was nice not to have to worry about bringing some of the small things for our stay. We would highly recommend and stay here again!

Great cabin for the whole family

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, there was plenty of room for the whole family. Great level lot with a nice sand beach. Great fireplace and the boat was very nice and clean. There was great fishing on the lake and the property was very private. We stayed for 5 days and felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. The beach area in front of the cabin has nice sand and great for swimming. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody wanting the quintessential Minnesota up north cabin vacation. Also great for dogs! Our Doodle was in Heaven the whole time.
