Welcome to the Overholser Cabin! This family cabin is a wonderful option for those who enjoy all Woman Lake has to offer in addition to a wonderful view in all directions.

As you approach the guest cabin, you will be drawn to the amazing views, but first step inside to see all this log cabin has in store for your comfort – and not to worry, the large windows throughout the main level keep that view in sight! The living area offers comfortable, furnishings and a nice stone gas fireplace to cozy up to during winter nights. In the summer we have A/C and ceiling fans in the living room, loft, each bedroom. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in with counter space for meal preparations. When you are ready for your meal, this cabin has a large dining table with seating for everyone, and is surrounded by a large window to enjoy your beautiful views. Or move outside to the deck for some outdoor dining.

The main level of this log cabin has two bedrooms and bathroom with shower. Both bedrooms have a queen bed with pine log furnishings.

Downstairs offers a third bedroom with a queen bed along with full bath with shower/tub down the hall. There is a laundry room with full-size washer and dryer.

Relax and watch the gorgeous sunsets on the wrap around deck with a beautiful outdoor fireplace to cozy up to in the evening. Listen to the loons calling each other from nearby nests. On the east side is a covered porch with a gas and charcoal grill.

Walk down the path and down the wooden steps just off the patio to the cabins own dock. A great access to the wonders of Woman Lake for fishing, swimming, boating and water activities.

Be sure to leave time for a visit to the nearby town of Longville to attend the turtle races held every Wednesday or to have a cool treat at Frosty's Ice Cream. Remember your sunscreen, it can be very sunny on main street.

No matter the time of year, our cabin is a wonderful choice for your getaway! You are in immersed in nature's backyard...

For larger groups, consider renting Overholser Lodge (a private residence) next door.

Lower: One bedroom with queen bed and one bathroom.

We're very excited to say we have added to the cabin dock another 16' section you can tie too. In 2025 the boat lift is available for your fishing boat at the dock next door. In 2026 it will be brought back to the guest cabin. It was too shallow for the lift before the 16' section was added. The lift can hold a v-hulled boat under 3,000 lbs. When it is moved back to the cabin it can be universal for a v-hull or pontoon. You must let us know if you plan on renting a boat, we need to know the size and weight. This will make sure your boat will fit safely.

When you have views you are on a hill off the water. So there are many steps to the lake. Most lots on woman lake do not have beaches, ours doesn’t either. There isn’t a public beach on woman lake because it’s not that kind of lake. Woman lake is a premier fishing lake. This is the lake where you will see eagles in the trees and loons with their little ones.

You will be responsible for any damage to our dock/lift and your boat. The property protection plan if purchased, does not cover any damages to your boat our dock/lift.
