Pros and Cons

Pros: Great location, near lots of restaurants and easy to get everywhere Easy street parking Spacious Decent kitchen Comfortable beds, lots of quilts Cons: Limited hot water in the shower No heating in the bedrooms (only central heating unit is in hallway; electric heaters in living and dining rooms) A lot of noise from upstairs unit - sounds like kids running around - could be reduced with more carpeting

perfect location, excellent hosts

wonderful unit in ideal location and just an excellent landing spot for living in the Mission for a few days. its right around the corner from Dolores park, you have great coffee shop at the end of block, and a five minute walk in any direction revealed excellent food options and amenity. felt like we were very much imbedded in the heart of the neighborhood. despite having a car, managing street parking was easy. hosts were generous and accommodating- communication was excellent and they have made a wonderful oasis for the traveler.

Spacious and Beautiful House!

I stayed at this beautiful, Victorian home a few weeks because I was getting married and needed to be nearby city hall and the City Club. This place was clean, spacious and so stylish! I loved getting ready on my big day and taking care pictures around the home. It was perfect and the host were beyond friendly and the communication was great! I had friends come over in the morning to help me get ready and they all had many compliments about the home. I was really content! Thanks again!

Nice place and Location, not without challenges

This was a very nice pad and in a great location. My only concern is unreliable hot water. It would come and go in the middle of a shower, the first time after I was all soapy. Had to finish that shower cold. When asked about it, the owner was attempting to be helpful by making a suggestion to take a bath, however for the price paid, I expect to be able to take a shower and have the problem fixed immediately once known. Also, the dried plant fixture they have in the living room smells foul. Honestly, I would have expected a little more refinement & finesse for the price.

Spacious, airy & great location

My husband, daughter and I rented this beautiful apartment for 5 days. We felt very at home and enjoyed the ample space - two big bedrooms and a large dining and living room. The location is great: a few blocks from Dolores Park and all the delicious food on Valencia and Guerrero. I’d recommend this place and would book again!

Comfortable place in a great location!

Loved staying in this area. Many great restaurants and nightlife opportunities just steps away. The apartment has everything you need and the stylish touch is a bonus.

Great location and wonderful place

My sister, brother-in-law and I were visiting our children who live in the city. It was in a great location, near Dolores Park, BiRite and Tartine. The location trifecta! The apartment was very clean, artfully decorated and was the perfect for our weekend. Check in and check out was a breeze I would definitely love to rent it again next time we are visiting the kids.

Awesome Stay in Dolores Mission District

My friends and the two of us had a wonderful time in this lovely home. So fun, well decorated and just very nice. Loved the location as we easily visited all of our favorite places in San Francisco. Alice and Pete were excellent communicators and we had no problem interfacing with them...always attentive. We recommend this vrbo home to anyone wanting a really cool place to stay in the SF area. Excellent stay!

This 2 bedroom apt. was great! In a beautiful old SF 3 story house with the owners living above. Full floor to yourself with 2 large bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and a little back yard area that was nice in the evening with a glass of wine. Great neighborhood within close walking distance to Dolores Park (awesome on Sunday!), Mission Dolores, and a bevy of excellent restaurants and things to do. Recommend BiRite creamery for ice cream (lavender honey was great) and Tartine Bakery for amazing bread. Great location near transportation to get anywhere in the city. Much, much better than a hotel and loved our stay here.

Great location

Good restaurants within walking distance. Felt safe walking at night. House is charming and very clean. Owners were helpful and responded to our needs. Next visit to SF we will try to stay here again. Thank you Peter and Alice
