'The Loft at Ludington' Harbor Terrace Luxury Condo

Located in the former 1920's Atkinson Boot Manufacturing company building, this is one of the most unique spaces you will come across. This Condo development combines both the old structural quality of the original structure with the modern feel of new construction. Twelve-foot ceilings, with the original exposed concrete columns and I-beams, and salvaged windows used as accents in the interior of this condo all lend to this mix of old and new. Curved interior walls and a 'funky' little loft make this condo an interesting and comfortable 'home' base for your Ludington Vacation. This condo has just been completed and is outfitted with all new furnishings.
Walk to the eclectic collection of shops where you'll find everything from antiques to fine art to collectibles to souvenirs and everything in between. There are also restaurants, two Brewpubs and the House of Flavors ice cream parlor within walking distance.

A-MA-ZING!!!!

We have been visiting Ludington for 13 years and it never gets old. This was our first time in this unit and it was better than ever. It fit our family of 5 (including 3 teenage boys) perfectly. My 19 year old loved the loft space to sleep in. We enjoyed the balcony to people watch and give restaurant advice to those that saw us. Hoping to be able to return again someday when our busy schedule allows. Great communication and great unit.

Ludington Summer Vacation #8

This was our eighth year coming to Ludington for our summer vacation. We can’t imagine going anywhere else in Michigan for a week of fun. The water, beach and marina views keep us coming back. Our stay at the Loft was great. The condo was very clean. It was equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils which was great for the few nights we wanted to cook at home. We slept well….beds were comfortable which is not always the case when you vacation. We had everything we needed to make it a great week. The owners checked on us in the beginning to ensure everything was going well and we really appreciated this communication. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home. Can’t wait to return to Ludington next summer!

The Loft week August 13.

The property is well appointed, clean, and spacious. The owners were very communicative and offered their help with any questions about the condo and also for enjoying our vacation time in Ludington. We enjoyed a perfect weather week with sunshine and high temps in the mid/upper 70's. We'll likely try a repeat next summer, God and schedules permitting!

Excellent week at an excellent location

Overall an excellent stay, kids enjoyed the loft and bunk beds. Momma and I enjoyed the deck in the evening and plenty of room for more if we needed it. Hoping to come back next year.

Great condo, great location

We love the location of this condo and having use of the pool. Bonus that it’s an indoor pool in case of inclimate weather. Layout of the condo worked really well for our family of 5. Enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful condo!

Jeff and Cindy communicated well before our visit and left clear instructions at the condo as well. The condo was beautiful, clean, and we loved the decor and unique layout. We enjoyed the pool, also very clean. The hot tub was not working the week we were there but there was a sign indicating they were waiting on parts. Great location, walking distance to marina, shops and restaurants. We had a lovely week and enjoyed our stay at the Loft.

Wonderful stay

The condo was the best equipped rental we have ever had. We normally rent a place a couple times a year, my box of extras never left the truck. Plenty of room, well stocked kitchen, close to everything, the other residents we friendly & welcoming. The only downside could be if you had a person with mobility issues, but that was not the case for us. will definitionally be back. The Ludington area is a gem. Pure Michigan

All the comforts of home on vacation

Thanks Jeff & Cindy for sharing your immaculate, spacious condo with us. It is an ideal location to walk to all our favorite spots in Ludington then regroup as a family without being on top of one another. It was the getaway we needed. The common areas are all very clean and it is obvious the owners all have pride in the building. Can't wait to return.

Lake Michigan getaway

The loft at Ludington Harbor Terrace Condo has all the comforts of home. The indoor swimming pool and hot tub were nice after a day on the beach. Amazing views of sunsets on the rooftop terrace. Ludington has a great downtown area that is walking distance to the Loft. Nice quaint shops and plenty of restaurants are nearby. Jamesport Brewing was our favorite place for food and drinks. We stopped at the Friday Farmers market for fresh corn and fruit. We explored the surrounding area and relaxed on the beach. There is nothing like watching the sun set over Lake Michigan. Hiked to see the Big Sable Point Lighthouse at Ludington State Park. Also Manistee National Forest is not far away for hiking. Overall, had an fantastic trip in Ludington during covid. Our stay at the loft was wonderful and we would return for another visit!

Ludington in a Nutshell

Great location to every aspect of downtown Ludington. From the Marina to the House of Flavors, each point of interest was walkable. Getting to Stearn’s Park for the beach is several blocks away, however it’s an easy walk. Great neighborhood to walk through. The condo had all the amenities to make our trip feel like home from kitchen supplies to laundry. It had multiple bathrooms which were clean and tidy. Had enough sleeping arrangements and fit my family and friends really well. Parking was easy and if you need more than one car, street parking was free and always available. Never a problem. Highly recommend for the next potential visitor.

Great Place!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is excellent and the properly is wonderful. The architecture and layout was great - lots of space and unique features. We felt right at home, with everything you would expect available. Easy to walk to many nice restaurants, shops, and the marina for a scenic stroll. Great location to head out to Ludington State Park to enjoy the beach, biking, and hiking. Two breweries in walking distance - one literally across the street. Private deck / balcony on the main street side was HUGE and a great place to sit any time of day to relax and watch traffic / people walk by. Building rooftop terrace was a fabulous place to watch amazing sunsets! You should see our pictures! :) We will definitely come back in the future.

Anniversary Celebration

We had a fabulous week stay in this beautiful condo. The balcony was lovely to spend time on, and the kitchen was well supplied with great cooking and eating utensils. Check-in could not have been simpler - the owners did an excellent job of communicating with us ahead of time.

Non Stop Fun

Our Family, this trip, consisted of two adults and 3 teenagers and EVERYONE had a blast. This property is centrally located in town and just a short trip t parks and beaches. The Pool and outside patio were a hit for all. The Loft was gorgeous and had everything we needed. The pictures on VRBO do not do it justice. What a GREAT Trip, we will be booking again, in the near future.

Lovely Ludington

Wonderful property/condo with family friendly amenities and everything you need. Extremely clean and comfortable with helpful owner. We enjoyed the location of this condo that is near great restaurants, marina where we kept our boat, parks, beach and particularly enjoyed the Saturday and Wednesday evening live music in the park. Love that you can walk everywhere easily. We will be headed back soon!

Amazing!!!

We rented the Loft for our family vacation this year - first time coming north and not going south and will probably head north to this destination from now on. We had such a great experience staying in this unit. The Loft was an excellent place for family, grandkids and all! We loved the proximity to the beach, parks, and downtown. Everything is within easy walking distance and there is so much to do and see. The Loft itself is great! There was plenty of room, lots of things provided above and beyond what we expected and plenty of amenities right on site. We enjoyed the rooftop area and the ease of it all. Having keypad entry codes was nice - no fiddling with keys. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was nice to have floats, noodles, life jackets, etc. available for the kiddies. The property is not done justice in the photos - everything is just top notch!

Great Ludington location, great condo

The condo was very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed and many additional nice touches that you don't usually see in rental places. The location was excellent. We could walk everywhere, and we were there over the 4th of July and loved the fact that we could see the fireworks from the roof of the condo building.
