This is half of an house on stilts (west side) in the West Beach neighborhood of Gulf Shores. It features 3 bathrooms, one for each bedroom, new flooring, new laundry & kitchen appliances, a peaceful neutral décor and plenty of space. The covered deck is ideal for coffee and catch up chats in the mornings, and a cocktail at the end of the day. The location is quiet and is only 1 block away from sugar sand beach access, a short walk to the 13th Street public access! Sleeps seven people (2 queen beds and a single over double bunk bed). Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own bathroom, lending itself to privacy and ease in having guests come with you! Sleeps SEVEN maximum. larger groups are not a fit.

Additional features include AC, WIFI and a TV, and laundry.

Gulf Shores is known for its beautiful white sandy beaches, warm sunshine, excellent golf, restaurants, shopping, and family-friendly activities. The location is west enough to be quieter and a more peaceful beach, but still minutes away from everything!

Conveniently located

The house was nice. Our two grandchildren enjoyed it! Our dog liked it. The grass needed mowing. Bring your own dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, and Kleenex. There’s not enough cabinet storage for pantry food items—we kept much of our supplies in plastics storage bins We never saw property manager. He never responded to text messages. But other than these things the house was most enjoyable and conveniently located to beach, restaurants, etc.

Excellent Gulf Shores Getaway!

This roomy half-house was an easy distance to public beach access and beautiful views of the Little Lagoon. Easy to drive into the central area of Gulf Shores for dining/entertainment. Property manager was incredibly responsive and friendly! Enjoyed having covered parking and an outdoor closet for stashing beach gear. We were thrilled to be able to bring our dog with us, too. Thanks for the great experience!

Relaxation

The property was just the way it was described. Everett the property manager made the stay even more welcoming. Great communication, very responsive and supplied us with whatever we needed. I would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was nice. The cleaning crew only left a partial roll of paper towel. And two partial rolls of tissue in the downstairs bathroom. Other than that everything was fine. We did not have any contact with property manager. (We didn’t need to call for anything)

Super cute and clean

We enjoyed this super cute duplex. Met all of our needs. Fully stocked kitchen was a huge bonus! One block up from a public beach access. Short drive to all the grocery stores and restaurants. Had storage down stairs that you could utilize with a key for your beach stuff. And a shower area to rinse off. The bedrooms do not have tvs, and the downstairs bathroom/bedroom are not connected. The shower pressure down stairs is amazing, my kids said the upstairs wasn’t the best. The downstairs bed is soft as well. If you have loud neighbors, you will hear them. None of these were a problem for us. Just noting. It’s pet friendly as well, we didn’t bring our pup, but plenty of grass and walking trails around for a fur baby. We didn’t see any pet hair in the house either. Overall it was great and would definitely go back!

Thanksgiving at the beach

We spent the month of November here. A short walk to the beach to watch the sunset every night. Loved having friends and family come and go during the month. Thanksgiving was great.

Poor Communication

We tried communicating with the property manager regarding an issue with no response for 24 hrs. He finally responded by showing up at the property at 9pm, unannounced. Also, the pest control company showed up to treat the house, we were unaware of this as well. 3 stars overall.

Perfect for our family of 4

We had a great stay. The beach is a short walk one way and the lagoon is a short walk the other (beautiful sunsets). The house was great. Loved having a bathroom for each bedroom. Tons of towels were provided. Check in/out was so easy! There was no long list of chores for checkout which we really appreciated. I highly recommend this cute house!

Wonderful property

We had a great stay! Just a short walk to the beach. The property was very accommodating to our family and pet Boston Terrier. We met Everett who is maintainence and he is awesome! So helpful and friendly! The one thing this property needs is more tv’s and cable television. The evening we arrived, the AC was not on, so it was very hot!! Other than that, loved our time here!

Family vacation

Easy walk to the beach. Apartment was very nice. Each bedroom had a bathroom that was clean and neat. Plenty of towels. We did run out of toilet paper and had to buy some.

Great Place to stay at GS AL

This is a very comfortable, well equipped property. We have many enjoyable times out on the deck. The only recommendation for the management is to replace the burned out light bulbs in the bathroom and over the kitchen sink. All in all we had a very good time here - off season it was nice and quiet.

Holiday away

We have been visiting Gulf Shores for over 10 years. This is the nicest, best equipped home we have had the pleasure of renting. No surprises. Everything we needed was there and in working order. Kitchen was well equipped, proper cookware and cutlery. Bedding was clean and well cared for. Elf made the stay special too.

Close proximity to the ocean while a very affordable rate. Short walk to the ocean and several very handy things were available from the property owner to make the ocean experience more enjoyable

Fantastic Stay!

Just a great place, it was modern & the location was perfect. It is super close to the beach access and shops around town. If we return to Golf Shores, we will be 100% staying here.

Nice place and great communication. Recommended.

We stayed at this “half a house” on stilts, and had a great trip. It was very clean and recently painted, tons of light and space for everyone, and a great covered patio for coffee with the family or a cocktail at night. The furniture was newer, contemporary, coastal and peaceful. We loved the location, since it was very easy for the family to go back and forth to the Gulf, a block away, and we could also go for walks right out the door around the neighborhood, or to docks and views on the lagoon. We will definitely stay with this host again.

Quick Trip 1 Night Stay

Great house, lots of room. Never seen or spoke to the property Mgr. Not that that was a bad thing. Listing says WiFi password is on board and it was not listed. However listening says checkout is 11am and post card on board says 10am. Didn't matter was gone before 9am. Short walk to beach and quiet peaceful area. Overall was great for our quick trip for 1 night. Would rent again.
