Luxury Lakeshore 8 Bedroom Lodge on Alexandria, MN Chain of Lakes

Our family fell in love with Geneva Beach Resort in Alexandria, MN over 30 years ago, and we have enjoyed our "week at the cabin" every summer since.  Some of our most cherished memories are from Lake Geneva.

We love it so much, in fact, that we decided to buy the resort & Sugarbush Lodge and move to Alexandria in June of 2019.  Spending more time in the area, we continue to be amazed with all Alex has to offer -- delicious dining, unique stores & day-trip destinations, and, of course, the magnificent lakes. During the fall and winter months we look forward to ice fishing, snowmobiling, and spending more time visiting the local shops, restaurants, wineries and breweries.

We have enjoyed meeting all of the families who choose Sugarbush Lodge for their reunions, retreats, and vacations. We feel fortunate to call Geneva Beach home and look forward to the opportunity to share it with you.

Sugarbush Lodge has everything you need to get away & connect with your favorite people. The deck overlooking the lake is the perfect spot for your morning coffee. The lodge offers enough space to allow your large family or group to come together for meals, games, or chatting by the bonfire, while the bedrooms, each equipped with their own tv, provide privacy to each party.

Most of our groups barely leave the lodge. However, if you want to get out for a day, Alexandria continues to expand its dining and entertainment offerings. You are sure to find the perfect restaurant for a romantic dinner or a lunch date with friends. The local shops, wineries, breweries, and distilleries are fun day destinations, and there is no shortage of golf courses to work on your swing. The lodge is situated steps away from the Central Lakes Trail, perfect for biking, running, and snowmobiling in the winter months.

Alexandria is an ideal location, just two hours north of the twin cities.

When staying at Sugarbush Lodge during the summer months you have direct access to the many amenities of Geneva Beach Resort, such as the soft sand beach, fish cleaning house, Aqua Jumps, kayaks, paddle boats, and paddle boards. We keep the beach, sand volleyball, basketball court & water toys out/open as long as the weather allows us in the fall and spring months.

The lodge is on a very large, secluded lot, and families can enjoy their own private dock, 2 campfire areas (firewood included), and spacious lodge (5,600 sq ft). You will have plenty of space outside to play yard games and enjoy the view.

Sugarbush Lodge is great for family holidays and celebrations. Two kitchens make meal prep a breeze & guests love that the whole crew can comfortably enjoy meals altogether at the large dining table.

The game room in the lowest level will keep the littles busy while the adults catch up and relax!

Planning a girls' weekend? Or a quick couples' getaway? If you stay at the Sugarbush, rather than a hotel, everyone gets their own room and can hang out together throughout your stay! Even our smaller groups have discovered that booking the Sugarbush Lodge is usually less expensive than multiple hotel rooms.
