Ocean Jewels is an oceanfront complex, TOTALLY renovated 1 room Studio unit with a partition wall that separates living/sleeping area, Enjoy the Ocean, Pools and all that Daytona has to offer, perfect for families, couples/singles or friends. Located on the 1st floor with no more than about 60' to the HUGE Ocean front deck and pools and BBQ grills for your use!

We supply Beach towels, 2 beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and coolers to use on your stay, so no need to rent them for $25 + a day :) This unit is on the first floor for easy loading and unloading and it sits about 50' behind the entrance to the Huge Deck and pool/beach area, Complimentary Coffee, Cream and Sugar !! :)
Our unit is 420 sq. ft. of Farmhouse/Barn feel with 1 King size bed, brand new Memory foam, another Queen size Murphy cabinet memory foam bed, new, the 3 seat sofa can be used as a 5th bed for child if needed, we have a sleeping bag for that. Totally remodeled studio apartment, everything is brand new!! Full kitchenette with full size refrigerator, microwave oven, portable single burner cook top, 6 qt. All-in-One Multi-Cooker, electric skillet. Marble counter tops, all necessary kitchen items including toaster / fryer oven, utensils, pots, pans. Coffee, Latte & Cappuccino Maker, glasses and dishes, and large sink with garbage disposal! Many condiments on site, with in-room eating areas. Large TV with cable package & private WIFI. All new bathroom with full-sized shower, decked out in Farmhouse decor. Plenty of closet and hanger space so you’re not living out of your suitcase during your stay. The facility amenities include 2 large pools, one heated (north side) and 1 kiddie pool, private, gated, giant pool deck with private access to beach!
There is an on-site restaurant, "Adams Egg”, with wonderful food and drinks, and they will deliver to your room or the giant pool deck with grills and tables with umbrellas for having a Barbeque!

1 mile from all the Action of the boardwalk and restaurants, there are a couple of coin/credit card laundries on site, night lights and security cameras on site. There is a $75 cleaning fee per stay.

We vacationed with our three children and the beach barn was cozy, comfy, and clean. Our kids enjoyed the beach and the pool. Would definitely recommend booking— Carol and Ted were great hosts.

Little getaway

The place was amazing. Thi I our second visit here and will continue to book it when we’re on the area if available. I was a little bummed none of the pool were open but with the storms that he gone through recently it’s completely understandable. If none I looking for a clean, cute little place on the beach I highly recommend staying here

This is an amazing little place to stay! This was our second time staying in this unit and we loved it! The extras that the owner leaves for you are a nice little surprise and comforting. I would recommend over and over!

Wonderful!

This was the second time we stayed at The Beach Barn, and we would surely stay there again. Check-in is a breeze. The apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay including a comfortable bed, all kinds of kitchen appliances, a clean and modern bathroom, plenty of storage room, and easy-to-use tv's. The owners also provide coffee and snacks to make the stay even more enjoyable.

Beautiful beach hideaway

We spent two fabulous weeks at the Beach Barn in Daytona Beach! The place was immaculate, with fun country decorations. The hosts really know how to take care of their renters with special extras: treats and coffee, easy access to the unit, a fun, red-color theme, user-friendly instructions for everything in the house, and comfy accommodations. We know we'll stay here again.

Well maintained and hospitable suite

My husband and I were very happy with the interior of the property. It is very charming and cozy . The resort itself is a bit under construction so no pool . However we were able to walk to the beach and all of our favorite places were close and walkable . The owners are wonderful and we would definitely recommend it .

Great Rental!

The rental is exactly as pictured! We had absolutely everything we needed. A few highlights - The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were amazing! Shower faucet had so much power and the hot water was the best I've ever experienced in a rental. The pool was very clean. Communication was very easy! Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. If we visit Daytona again in the future, we will stay here again!

Great stay. Well appointed suite.

Once again we stayed at the Beach Barn. Felt like home. Very well situated. Ted and Carol, the hosts are great. Easy to communicate with and made sure that we had an enjoyable stay. On the beach but access was not available at the time of our stay. Which was told to us in advance. This should be available eventually as the last hurricane destroyed the retaining wall of most resorts/hotels along the Daytona coast. Crews are working hard on getting the access ready. Will definitely book there again, the next time I go to Daytona.

Exactly As Listed

Too many people play the online game of false advertisement, but not the Beach Barn! The hosts' listing and the reviews left by visitors were spot on. All photos depict the unit in its current day condition - CLEAN, NEAT, and cozy. The hosts make sure to go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay is had. Comfy beds, quality towels and linens, and a stocked kitchen (cooking utensils, plates, bowls, etc) Location is easily accessible (park in the middle lot, between the building and restaurant) and room is quiet at night. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a place to stay on Daytona Beach - I doubt you will find hosts that will take care of their renters as Carol & Ted do!

Pick up the beach

Every day at 2 pm then again at 6:30 pm I walk the beach and pick up trash. Mountains of trash. I put all the garbage in garbage containers on the beach and all the recycling in the the recycl bin. The 6:30 is when I pick up all the clothes, towels,swimsuits, sox, shoes , sandles and dozens of beach toys. Every night! I wash everything and donate it all to docs thrift shop on Ridgewood. All the money they make goes to the outreach center to house and feed the homelesswhen I was young my father told me when you die, you go to heaven. But you have to provide your own transportation there. So that's why I pick up the beach....so I can earn my wings:)

Vacation

First was told I would get a $150 discount because one of the pools and entire back pool deck was closed and we had to crawl over a wall and walk on vacant lot next door to get to beach but didn't get $150 discount. When I asked about the discount I was ignored. We blew that off and went anyway. After arriving here are pros & cons: Pros: the place had been remodeled. Had a lot of stuff. Good location. Adams Egg Restaurant was Awesome! Water pressure and hot water are unbelievably strong and hot. There was a lot of amenities like paper products, soaps, sunscreen etc. Cons: Was very dusty on the high spots and on all the rough sawn wood additions and walls. Floor was sticky in spots. Exterior door locks were very loose, not secure and not correctly installed. There was to much furniture in the place making it hard to get around. We had to stack chairs, tables and pillows up against the wall to move around. 10 pounds of stuff in a 5 pound bag. Once on sight I emailed host with a couple questions and got no answers. After arriving we had no more responses to or questions. Radio silence. Never herd from host again. We made the best of it and had a really good time on our vacation. The host gets an F in my opinion on communication and not standing by his word on the discount. All it needs is a good cleaning, get rid of the clutter, pillows, a couple chairs and fix door locks for security. These are the opions of a VRBO host myself. Communication, Safety and Cleanliness is key.

Beau petit condo sur le bord de la plage. Tout équipé (cuisine, jeux de plage, jeux de société, etc.). Les hôtes répondent très rapidement et ont été très attentif à nos besoins.

Don't judge by the cover!

I was skeptical at first but the set up inside was very nice! I was disappointed with no beach view from my condo itself but it's alright. We came down for biketoberfest anyway so we were more into the motorcycles then the beach 😀 The shower was awesome! You can never find some where with good water pressure so that was a plus! Thank you for providing a nice place for our stay!

Hurricane Ian Crew

We had an amazing adventure and we can say we survived Hurricane Ian!! 😁Ted and Carol were amazing hosts for us during our stay and very accommodating given the weather conditions of the hurricane. This was the perfect place to stay for our annual beach trip! It was cute, cozy, and tucked right between the other 2 buildings. We give them 5 stars and thanks again for having us!!
