Luxury apartment in the heart of the center of Volendam 30 meters from the harbor.

This new apartment is equipped with all comforts and amenities. So there is air conditioning and two flat screens TVs and present you using wireless internet anywhere you want to use your laptop.

The spacious kitchen has granite counter tops and packed with appliances including dishwasher, microwave / oven, espresso machine and a steamer.

Become wet or dirty clothes is not a problem as there is a washer and dryer are provided.

Bed linens (the highest quality) and towels are provided.
The apartment sleeps 4 people. There are two bedrooms. 1 bedroom with a King bed and 1 bedroom with bunk beds.

The new apartment is situated below the dike just 20 meters from the port in the middle of shops, restaurants and nightlife.

In the vicinity of the apartment, of course, there is a bakery (25 meters), a butcher (100 meters) and supermarket (500 meters).
You also have nearby also several shops, souvenir shops etc.

At the apartment two bikes are included so you Volendam and explore the nearby picturesque villages.

Nice apartment in a fine location

It is a fine apartment and Volendam is a great place. The interior of the apartment is very fine, but focus is needed on the lights and dimmers inside.

Great relaxing place

We were not sure about the location because it was a bit outside of Amsterdam. But we loved it. Was nice to have a place to relax along with great restaurants and views away from the hustle of the city. Bus ride there and back was convenient and cheap. Highly reccommend this property...

Nice town and condo, but….

The condo itself was modern and very much like the pictures. It was in a delightful town. Getting to the condo is somewhat inconvenient from Amsterdam. Get ready to pay more money on transportation to take the 316 bus. Checkin was somewhat irritating trying with Google maps and unclear instructions to find a restaurant to get the keys. The key to the condo was weird. We found it hard to open the door. When we mentioned this the owner she accused us of using the key to the storage room. I repeatedly told her the issues and she blamed us and said that other people didn’t have this issue and that the lock was new. We are college educated and well traveled, we aren’t morons. The keys are numbered.. duh. At one point we were in the rain trying the key and the door would not open. The blaming did not end there. She accused us of writing on the wall. That NEVER happened. I have an 18 year old and a mature well traveled 6 year old who stopped writing on the wall at 3 years old. She even implied that she had to paint the entire wall because if it. I took pictures of the place as we left it, it was a false claim. Moreover she had touch up paint in the cabinet. I guess they don’t have magic erasers in the Netherlands. ?? or cleaning products?? Also who paints an entire wall because of a few marks?? The kitchen equipment was not adequate to cook with. The water in the shower was barely warm. The bikes were a plus but there was no instruction about how to unlock them. I literally asked some nice Dutch people in the neighborhood to help me figure it out. When I texted about this the owner misunderstood my English. Her English skills are so much better than my Dutch skills but she didn’t understand some key words and phrases. My husband and I are an interracial couple and let’s just say there were some not so nice stares. The supermarket is three minutes by bike and the seaside nearby boardwalk was lovely. We did fall in love with the Netherlands but we will find other accommodations for future vacations.

Zum zweiten Mal gebucht!

Nachdem wir im Sommer 2021 bereits die Wohnung gebucht hatten, waren wir im Herbst 2023 erneut in Volendam. Es war wie zu erwarten sehr schön. Die Wohnung liegt 30 m vom Hafen entfernt. Sie ist ausreichend groß und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten die man sich wünscht. Man ist mit dem Auto oder mit dem Bus (30-Minuten- Takt) sehr schnell in Amsterdam. Auch im Umfeld kann man viel erleben. Der Hafen bietet diverse Shops, Fischstände, Waffel- und Süßwarenläden und natürlich Restaurants.

Apartment in bester Lage

Die Wohnung liegt in hervorragender Lage direkt am malerischen Hafen und in der Nähe vieler Geschäfte. Sie ist mit Klima und dem großen Wohnzimmer sehr gut ausgestattet. Amsterdam ist mit dem Bus sehr gut zu erreichen und nah. Auch Edam und andere Orte laden zum Besuch ein. Kleine Kritikpunkte gab es: Abends war es durch eine nahe Kneipe sehr laut und es gab draußen bis in die Nacht viel Lauf, was aber bei geschlossenen Fenstern erträglich war. Im Apartment könnten noch Kleinigkeiten optimiert werden (zB Handtuchhaken im Bad oder Ablagemöglichkeiten, dunkle Beleuchtung). Dass der Müll zu einem Container am Hafen gebracht werden muss, ist auch nicht die schönste Lösung, aber machbar. Und das Parken ist im Ort etwas schwierig - aber aufgrund der Lage geht es halt nicht anders. Alles in allem haben wir den Aufenthalt genossen und können das Apartment weiter empfehlen.

Super Wohnung

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in Volendam verbracht. Die Wohnung ist toll, die Nähe zum Hafen super und die Verbindung mit dem Bus nach Amsterdam problemlos. Vielen Dank an Vivien.

Sehr angenehmer Urlaub!

Die Unterkunft war sehr gut ausgestattet und in hervorragender Lage! Die Küche und alle anderen Zimmer waren sehr modern! Allerdings könnte man mehr auf die Sauberkeit bei den Küchengeräten und Duschen achten. Es war ein rundrum gelungener Urlaub!

Excellent location!

30 meters to the ocean front promenade with many bars and restaurants; people are so friendly, a nice change. 15 minute drive to ocean for walking or running or biking. Super market, butcher, several bakeries all within five minutes walking. Vivian was readily available for questions we had. Her hubby came over once to help us out too. All in all a super nice apartment, location, amenities, atmosphere...the real Holland at heart. Will be coming back! Thank you Vivian and hubby.

Klare Weiterempfehlung!

Das Ferienobjekt ist eingebettet in eine wunderschöne "dorfliche" Umgebung. In wenigen Schritten erreicht man den Hafen von Volendam, welcher touristisch sehr beliebt ist. Dies merkt man in der Wohnung allerdings nicht. Sie ist trotz der Nähe zu vielen Restaurants in der belebten Hafenstrasse, sehr ruhig. In wenigen Fahrminuten ist man in Amsterdam. Der P+R Parkplatz Noord ist in 15 min. zu erreichen. Von dort aus kann man die Stadt Amsterdam sehr gut mit der Metro, Strassenbahn, Bus erkunden! Es gibt auch eine sehr gute Busanbindung nach Amsterdam. (ca. 200m vom Apartment entfernt. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern. Im Umfeld ist alles erreichbar was man benötigt. Bäcker, Supermarkt, frischer Fisch, Restaurant,.... alles fußläufig zu erreichen! Die Bilder in der Anzeige zeigen genau das Bild, wie die Wohnung aussieht! Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Volendam.

Top-Haus in Top-Lage mit Top-Vermieter

Sehr schönes und modern eingerichtetes Haus direkt am Hafen. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und unaufdringlich. Der Checkin und Checkout basierte auf beidseitigem Vertrauen und war wie nach Hause kommen. Sehr angenehm. Das Parken am angrenzenden Parkplatz war zudem für uns kostenfrei. Leider waren wir am Wochenende und Ende der Schulferien vor Ort, wodurch wir eine Menge Partylärm ertragen durften bei gleichzeitig warmen Nächten die ein offenes Fenster erforderten. Aber das ist unsere eigene Fehlplanung schuld, in einem so schönen Städchen ist das wohl normal. Einziger Mangel am Haus war der vermutlich ein paar Tage unbenutzte und durch das warme Wetter etwas auskondensierte Kühlschrank. Dort hatte sich leichter Schimmel gebildet was natürlich nicht so schön war. Vermutlich war die letzte Reinigung schon ein paar Tage her, denn wir sind durch eine Umbuchung in ein anderes Haus als vorgesehen gekommen. Insgesamt machte das Haus aber einen sehr gepflegten und gut geputzten Eindruck. Gerne wieder, beste Grüße

Schönes Appartement in toller Lage

Das Appartement ist wirklich zentral gelegen und sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Leider ist das „Kinderschlafzimmer“ sehr klein und innenliegend und somit ohne Fenster. Für 4 Personen ist das durchaus grenzwertig. Nichts desto trotz haben wir den Aufenthalt genossen, viele Ausflüge gemacht und einen schönen Urlaub gehabt.

Optimal für Amsterdam und Ruhe

Die Ferienwohnung ist hervorragend eingerichtet. Nach ein paar Tagen kennt man sich auch mit den vielen Lichtschaltern aus. Die Busverbindungen nach Amsterdam sind vorbildlich E-Buse alle 30 Min, eigene Busspur und mit Tagesticket auch günstig. (Gibts auch beim Busfahrer) Wir (Oma und Opa mit 2 Enkel) haben die Tage in Volendam und Amsterdam trotz Sturm sehr genossen.

Lovely location, quiet and very friendly

We traveled from Peterborough, UK to Volendam and back again entirely by train and by bus... Very impressed with public transport infrastructure and was given the information and tickets we needed to get about for the 3 days we were there at Amsterdam train station. We got thrown around a bit in the bus with our suitcase and bags, but all part of the adventure! Good old google maps on a phone helped us find the apartment and the supermarket and various museums in Amserdam. After busy days in the city, it was lovely to come back 'home' to such a lovely apartment. Thank you for your hospitality and 3 days just wasn't enough to do and see everything we wanted to do. Nikki :)

sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Schöne Wohnung, super gelegen, wirklich alles vorhanden. Das Einzige, was uns ein wenig gestört hat, war die unzureichende Beleuchtung im Küchen- und Essbereich. Ausser an der Dunstabzughaube war nur gedämmtes Licht vorhanden. Ansonsten kann ich diese Wohnung aber auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Ruhige Wohnung in Volendam

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Tolle Lage und sehr schöne Ausstattung. Der Weg von und nach Amsterdam ist problemlos in guten 30 Minuten machbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön! Leider haben wir im voraus aber keine E-Mail erhalten, daß wir den Hausschlüssel in einem Restaurant abholen müssen. Hat aber nach einem kurzen Telefongespräch dann aber auch problemlos geklappt. Wir sind sehr zufrieden gewesen, der Ort ist wunderschön und bietet alles was das Herz begehrt.

Short break

This is a very nice and well laid out property in an excellent location. Getting to Volondam from Amsterdam was easy on the 316 bus and we picked up the key as instructed. The apartment was spot on for our needs and also has air conditioning in lounge area and master bedroom which was handy as we visited during the hot spell, Also very handy was the 2 bikes that come with the property, we hired a third bike in Volendam. Vivian was very helpful and quick with her communications and offered advice on both good and bad restaurants. We would thoroughly recommend this property.
