East Beach Great Studio

Our East beach studio is sweet and comfortable. It is perfect for 1 or 2 adults. The location is ideal, just 2 minutes walking to the beach. It is a very large and sunny studio and has a separate fully stocked kitchen with dining space, large room with Queen bed, awesome TV, separate vanity area, full bathroom with shower/tub and huge walk in closet. We have an outdoor patio around the back that has a BBQ and table and very nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. Its such a nice studio, its a great retreat after a long day enjoying the city! We have everything you need in the neighborhood, you don't even need a car! We have a local market on the corner, the SB Inn across the street that serves food all day, and bike rentals on the next block. The price is right and the location perfect; come see for yourself! The Santa Barbara Airbus has its SB pick up and drop off a block away at the Hyatt, and it is the perfect way to arrive from LAX- its a 3 minute walk and the Airbus is comfortable and affordable. Its a very safe neighborhood and best place to be in Santa Barbara!

Lovely stay, easy location

Clean and cozy home, walking distance to the beach, beautiful walks, a grocery store, and a few restaurants. We had our four year old with us and he enjoyed the playground on the beach as well. Jami is a lovely host, we appreciated her responsiveness when we had questions and her friendliness. Will stay here again!

Perfect little place

This property was just as described and is just a corner turn from the beach. The area is quiet and seemed safe. The owner of the property is highly responsive and helpful with amazing recommendations about things to do/places to eat in the area. I will be returning.

Highlights:Great location (it really is close to the beach). Parking was never an issue either. The building was nice and quiet as well. The host was very responsive and communicative, and all of the information and directions were very clear. The kitchen dishware and utensils were helpful, and it was great that beach chairs and an umbrella were provided.Concerns:The carpet in the unit seemed stained and dirty, and the bed sheets smelled musty, which took some getting used to on the first night.

I was told before arrival my booking had been changed from this listing to the downstairs left side apartment (fine by me). Since I can’t speak to this exact listing, I’ll comment on location and host. Location is great, the walk to the beach is a quick one. Jack’s Bistro was a fave for coffee breakfast. The kitchen was nicely appointed and the bedding all smelled like fresh laundry. The acoustics are a challenge - the front door is extremely loud when open and closed with normal force. The first night, the property manager messaged and asked that extreme caution be used when closing the front door as there was a mother and child staying above me, as well as herself on the property, and the door closing loudly had woken her up. I apologized profusely and proceeded to use extreme care with opening and closing the front door. The next day (and the remainder of the time) there were workers in the other apartment who were quite loud and you can hear everything - I heard one guy blowing his nose at one point. The host asked if it was bothering me but luckily I travel with noise canceling headphones/the workers were gone in the evenings. Just wanted to let anyone know in the event noise/quiet is a concern. Otherwise, a perfectly nice place to stay.

Perfect spot

Great little place. Very quiet neighborhood. Never had a problem finding parking. Studio is upstairs in the back of the property. Within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, & the pier. It was a perfect getaway for my girlfriend & I.

Great little beach getaway!

The apartment is very close to the east beach and in a cute neighborhood. A little farther from downtown area but no big deal if okay with walking/ biking, like we were.

Great apartment and location

This property is steps from the beach and within walking distance to Stearns wharf, State Street, and good restaurants on Milpas Street. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. Jami is a wonderful host, very accessible and responsive.

Great weekend stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Gina was very accommodating when we had some last minute travel issues, everything was very clean and the location is amazing! There’s a playground on the beach about a 5 minute walk away, and you can easily get to the bike path and walk to the Funk Zone (it’s about a mile). We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property!

East Beach

We loved our VACAY in Santa Barbara. East Beach is just beautiful. Jami is a delightful hostess and even baked us a yummy banana bread. The location is super convenient, just across the street from the beach, an easy walk to the pier and downtown. The beach chairs and umbrella were a plus.

Great home base

I am very happy we stayed in East Beach. Two great restaurants within a block. Only a mile walk down the beach to sterns wharf and state street. It was a quiet neighborhood. Always able to park on the street nearby.

Clean but a bit dated

The place was meticulously clean. It’s a bit dated but has all the basic amenities needed for a simple stay. Note: it’s up a long steep flight of stairs so be prepared to climb. We had some questions and the owner was responsible and was kind and helpful in m resolving our concerns. The location is very conveniently located for the zoo, beach and downtown area.

Cozy studio apartment near the ocean & downtown.

This location had everything we were looking for which was a place to lay our heads, hot shower and cooking capacity. It reminded me of my apartment years ago in NYC. Very easy to get to all the things we had planned to do and always had plenty of street parking. Highly recommend for the price. Host was very responsive to all questions prior to our stay.

Great Place for Couples

We really enjoyed staying at this upstairs unit close to the beach. It was close to everything and even had a neighborhood market just around the corner from the house. Jami was wonderful when we had any questions and was a very nice person. My only complaint would be the Wi-Fi,it worked well while sitting on the couch but it would go in and out at times.
