Studio Style Hidden Getaway Overlooking Cheyenne Creek With Large Kitchen, Romantic Wood Burning Stove, and Queen Bed

This is the perfect location, directly on Cheyenne Creek with overlooking views of Cheyenne Canyon's beauty. Experience the charming nature the Canyon as deer come down everyday to say hello! Fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of Cheyenne Creek flowing right outside your window and front deck! This romantic bungalow is truly a hidden treasure perfect for those looking for a private, cozy escape that is also a five minute walk from the world famous Broadmoor. This hideaway is located on the upper level, giving it breathtaking views of the creek and canyon (all guests must be able to climb a short set of stairs up one story).

The layout is a studio-like open concept, and bedroom is not enclosed. Beautiful spacious updated kitchen, living room with a sleeper sofa, and queen bed. Enjoy a new 45” TV with DVD player and a sleeper sofa with an upgraded memory foam mattress! Kitchen has just about everything you could want--Belgian Waffle Maker, Spice Rack, Coffee Pot, Crock Pot...just to name a few things.

From your secluded and peaceful bungalow, you can walk to the Broadmoor for fine dining and a romantic walk through the beautiful area. Enjoy sitting on the deck as you overlook the creek, sip on your favorite drink, and listen to the sounds of Colorado nature. Stratton Open Space is also just a few minutes away, which is wonderful place for hiking and biking. Numerous other Colorado Springs highlights are less than 10 minutes away, such as the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Seven Falls, Helen Hunt Falls, and the Will Rogers Shrine. Downtown, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs is very close by as well, which are the culturally rich and popular downtown areas of Colorado Springs.

Listing was not accurate as it didn’t specify wood fire stove as sole source of heating. I have severe chronic health issues and cannot be around wood smoke as it is a carcinogen. Even though I contacted him three days prior to our stay as soon as I found out about the heating, this host refused to refund our payment so that we could book another place. Total lack of compassion and I was in town for my mother’s funeral!!! I should have read the reviews first and I would have seen the red flags. Advise extreme caution before booking a property with this host!

Very quaint upstairs loft unit, right near the Broadmoor. We had an event at the Broadmoor so it was very easy to get back and forth. Place was clean and cozy. Only issue was the door had broken before we got there so there was no way to lock the door (we weren’t even given keys). I would have liked to know this ahead of time for safety reasons but only found out upon arrival.

Hideaway on Cheyenne Creek was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Check-in and communication were easy. Private and secluded yet easy drive to the Broadmoor. Air conditioning provided by a portable unit that requires being drained if you plan to use it. Parking is conveniently separate from the resident’s parking so it feels private. Very well stocked and friendly. Highly recommend!

Our host had get communication with us. The nieghbhood was quiet and the property was in a beautiful part of the city. We enjoy enjoyed the Cog Railway at Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods. It way a wonderful getaway.

It was a very fun bungalow. We had a couple of glitches, but overall, things were great. We were able to get a reservation for 1 night, which was very nice.

Creekside peace

A perfect little place to stay in the canopy of trees above the creek just at the base of the Cheyenne mountain. So well situated, quiet and well equipped for a week's stay.Our host was a great communicator and apartment is easy to access.

Creekside getaway

Property is exactly as described. One room second story bungalow with a deck overlooking a rushing creek. We found it to be very clean, comfortable, and simple. The location was very convenient, easy to access and close to Pikes Peak activities. The host is very easy to communicate with and responds promptly. We would definitely stay there in the future if we return to Colorado Springs.

It is beautiful and probably very pleasant in the winter. No A/C very warm inside. At 11:15pm it was 65 outside and 78 inside.Front door does not lock from the inside and you are required to leave the key to the room in a lockbox right next to the door.Small complaint, the TV volume is locked very low. Also, very dusty inside.

This host is so on point with responses and the sound of the creek is so soothing; not to mention how close you are to some gorgeous scenic areas. My s/o had never visited Colorado before and staying here has him ready to leave and move out here

Wonderful

A perfect location! We had planned to visit the Cheyenne Mtn Zoo the day after our arrival. We enjoyed a nice walk to the Broadmoor Hotel after our check in & discovered lots of hiking trails close by.Will definitely come & stay again.

We were unable to stay due to arriving to a broken lock on the door and had to find new accommodations in the middle of the night after a long flight. I have requested a refund but have not received a reply.

AWESOME PLACE AND GREAT HOST

Great location and so close (less than 2 mins drive) from Broadmoor Resort. I saved about $1250 over 5 nights versus staying at BM for a convention. I actually feel like I walked less than if I stayed at the resort due to the free valet parking at both main entrances at Broadmoor. Dustin responded within minutes everytime I had a question or a concern. I will stay here again if available the next time I am in CO Springs !!
